The flooring company also took three extra days to finish, due to a dispute between the owner and his contracted worker, delaying the plumbing work. Throughout it all, Mike answered every call, offered helpful advice, and reassured me they would come as soon as I was ready. His son arrived early, completed the plumbing work perfectly, tried to put my door back on for me, and even took away my old toilet at no charge. Their price was significantly lower than the other quotes I received, and the work was excellent. The service person who came was very professional and informative. It did cost about $90 just to get the system looked at which I was not expecting at the time. The total ended up being larger than I had expected, but I was willing to pay it because I needed my heat turned on immediately. Aquidneck Services wax on the preferred provider list and they are local for us. The need assessment was done quickly as was the quote. We chose our plan and arranged all the rebate/financial and within a month had the equipment installed. What a change! Should have done it long ago. Thanks to Eddie and Simon for helping with the process (and answering a lot of questions!) and to Tim and Jonah who installed the mini-splits and took the time to ensure the correct placement for max coolness (and also answered lot of questions!) Tim had to determine best placement of outside hoses for the bedroom unit and then make it work. All work looks fantastic! They also offer annual maintenance. We are very pleased with the service.

They explained what they would be doing and went out and bought the tools they needed and repaired the pipe in a few hours. Most either weren't familiar with my boiler or couldn't schedule a service call for days. When I called Rob, the owner of R. E. Coogan Heating Inc., he explained that they were busy but promised to stop by that evening to see what he could do. Rob arrived around 7 PM and spent over an hour troubleshooting the problem. Although he couldn't get the boiler running that night, he assured me he would contact the manufacturer the next day and continue looking for a solution. True to his word, he called me the following day with recommendations from the manufacturer and returned that evening to try them. It was clear that he was doing everything possible to repair the boiler and save us the expense of a replacement. Unfortunately, the boiler could not be repaired because the required parts were no longer available from the manufacturer. After exhausting every reasonable option to restore it, Rob helped us move forward with a replacement as quickly as possible. After four days without hot water, I expected we would have to wait at least another week for a new installation. Rob initially estimated that the work could begin Friday and be completed by Monday. However, he called on Wednesday to let me know he had rearranged his schedule and hoped to start earlier. At 3 PM on Thursday, Rob arrived with Henry and Nick to begin removing the old boiler. He then brought in additional crew members the next day and worked hard to complete the installation as quickly as possible. As promised, our new boiler was installed and our hot water was restored by Friday evening. What impressed me most was Rob's commitment to helping us. He went out of his way to accommodate our family, worked tirelessly to find the most cost-effective solution, and followed through on every promise he made. Henry, Nick, and the rest of the team were professional, courteous, and respectful of our home, leaving everything clean when the job was finished.
