We were vacationing in Arizona with our medically fragile 4 year old and the elevation really affected him and we went through our oxygen tanks fairly quickly. My experience with Angel at All Med Equip & Supplies Sales was unprofessional and frustrating. During our initial call, she told me my insurance would cover 75% of the cost and asked for my information. After I politely asked her not to call me "hon," her demeanor changed. She called me back to say my insurance wouldn't cover the equipment at all. I later learned from both my insurance company and my doctor's office that All Med hadn't even submitted a request for authorization. When I tried to resolve the issue with Angel, she was unprofessional, talked over me, and refused to let me speak to a manager or another employee. She even began yelling, accusing me of being rude after she had repeatedly interrupted me. Angel called me back to say she had submitted the authorization with a coworker and that my issues were a "misunderstanding" with my insurance company. I pointed out that this contradicted her earlier statement that no one else was there to help and that the change in her demeanor was not a misunderstanding, but a direct result of our previous conversation. In response, she hung up on me. I decided to take my business elsewhere and purchased the equipment for under $80 at Walmart. I will not be doing business with All Med Equip & Supplies Sales in the future. read more

ASK WHAT THE RETURN POLICY IS before signing the receipt, IT IS 24 HOURS- they need to state that at time of purchase or have it posted!!! On Monday I needed to return a bp cuff I had purchased the previous Friday, unaware of the return policy( they are not open on the weekend!!!) resulting in a VERY UNFRIENDLY interaction with someone I assume is the manager or owner of the company who hesitantly aquiessed to my return. It's unfortunate when year's old, bad references affect new, effective management. Old reviews were not good. I was treated so politely and helpfully over the phone, I drove from Prescott to Flagstaff for what I needed. I want to share my wonderful experience with All-Med Equipment & Services. My husband had a new CPAP machine and had only worn it for a few weeks. He left the mask on the nightstand. Our dog must have been enticed by the head-strap because he chewed it to pieces. It would seem like a simple thing to replace, but it was an hellacious experience, trying to get one. In the process, my husband wasn't sleeping at all, and his health was deteriorating . We tried Prescott Valley, three places in Phoenix to no avail for various reasons. We just needed a HEAD STRAP!! Our PHX doctor's office participated in the effort, calling All-Med Equipment & Supplies in Flagstaff. They told me I'd really like this medical supply store, giving me the phone number. I immediately called and spoke to Paul Bremer, Branch Manager. He was warm, kind and answered all my questions. I didn't know the brand name of my husband's CPAP machine because I was in Munds Park and he was in Phoenix. The machine was in Prescott! Paul Bremmer said he knew he could make one work to fit his face mask and to bring up the machine, if possible. We were elated! The following week I showed up at the store on Fourth Street in Flagstaff. It's in a strip mall just before you reach Sonic, heading north. There's good signage on store. I was warmly greeted by Alfred, a Field Technician. He introduced me to Mr. Bremer, who also warmly greeted me, remembering exactly who I was and my need. He went to work on the head strap. Within a few minutes, with a big smile, he returned with a new strap that will work perfectly. They were as happy as I was that the problem was solved. Mr. Bremer said if anything didn't work with the machine, strap or mask to definitely bring them by and he would adjust it for my husband's use ability and comfort. Shop is very clean and everyone there was kind and helpful. It is new management, and if your experience is as good as mine, that will be your go-to place for medical supplies. Wow, this place sucks and for good reason I have heard that they do around town. They are disorganized, the right and left hand have no idea what the other is doing and poorly trained respiratory therapists equated with my CPAP machine --deceptively-- getting confisgated. That's right the new therapist asked me to bring in my machine bto download, knowing full well, she intended to keep it. SHODDY people with a plethora of shoddy practices. They have had my machine nearly two weeks and now, have made demands for upcoming fees to be paid all at once which they cannot demand. I was always up to date on my payments. I am also updating the sleep doctor Im seeing so she can learn even more about how they rip patients off who need their cpap machines. I am reporting Allmed to my insurance company for discriminatory procedures as well as other relevant state agencies. My doctor recommended two other places --way-- over this one. Do your homework. I live in Utah and was in Flagstaff at our oldest son's house. Somehow I broke the clip holding the exit elbow of my CPAP machine while taking the hose off to pack it the day before. This was on a Friday. i had assembled it and was ready for bed but when I turned it on, all the air rushed out around the tank outlet. I found the broken piece when I examined the machine. So for three nights I slept without the CPAP machine. I have been using one for approximately 20 years. I slept OK but not really well. We were heading to Mexico for spring break. All 5 of my wife's children and grandchildren were going. I called my primary CPAP provider Flagstaff location to see if they would have one. They said they would have to take it off a new machine. They weren't willing to do that. They suggested All-Med in Flagstaff as they carried parts. This part is easily replaceable, I might add. I went to All-Med and waited a little because they were busy. I talked to a gentlemen there who helped out by removing the elbow from a new machine and put it on my machine. Took less than 30 seconds. He ordered a new replacment part for the new machine. The cost was very reasonable. I am writing this in Mexico looking out the room at the beach. The last several nights I have had great sleep. Thank you All-Med!!! read more

The employee at the counter was polite and knowledgeable about the knee scooter that I was renting. I called later with a question and the gentleman was quick to shoot down my request (get a knee scooter with an attached basket). A month later, I get a bill, saying that I must pay 4x the amount that the first employee said (and what it said on the order that I brought in with me). When I called billing, they said insurance adjusted for my deductible...but no one informed me until after my second billing cycle. I'm too far in to stop now, but I advise you to look elsewhere. read more
