Ruben and nick moved me into my condo this morning and did amazing they were professional and very timely, and very efficient.

Between moving places I found myself without help. I reached out via Yelp for an estimate. I was contacted by the staff almost immediately. We were off to a great start. That was up until move out day. Two young men showed up. They had me sign a bunch of paperwork on a tablet they wanted me to sign before they got started. As I was using the tablet they started reviewing everything I had packed they informed me they weren't allowed to transport liquids or perishable Items as soon as they saw I had a couple cases of water and some food near the front door. At first I was a little bugged because I was hoping to get that moved as well but then I figured at least they'll help me with the other stuff. One of my specific requests that I made when I was booking was for them to help me toss an old mattress in the dumpster. The staff I spoke with on the phone said it wouldn't be an issue. The two men moved everything out and at the end when I mentioned the bed they told me they didn't feel comfortable moving it because of the condition of it. I also had an old tv stand that was a little wobbly but stable very sturdy that they also refused to load on the truck. The funny thing is later when I went back for it, it didn't fall apart as they claimed it would if they had they moved it. Must've not have been that bad of shape if I was able to do it. Very disappointing! I had a recliner couch that they were unable to remove the center back due to the bolting. At first they were mentioning that they may not be able to move it either which really upset me. After I mentioned I needed it moved they eventually were able to get it out of the apartment by tilting and lifting it. When we arrived at the new place I noticed one of the males was smoking a vape outside during the job which was very unprofessional. I mean if he'd waited to after the job was done I wouldn't have made a big deal about it but while in the middle of the job, it didn't sit well with me. They got the bulk of my stuff moved which I am grateful for but I am very disappointed by their attitude and the excuses they had for the bed the items they didn't feel comfortable moving. Considering what they charged for the job I expected a way better experience. I will take my business elsewhere next time I need to move. read more

Terrible scheduling. Talked to 3 different people, different info from all, in the end all three got my address wrong. Called on Monday for final time, was guaranteed 8:30 to 9:30, the next day. Got a call from driver at 9:20, he said the truck was in for maintenance check and things needed fixed. No ETA. Finally showed up at noon after they went to wrong part of town. Remember THEY HAD ALL GOTTEN MY ADDRESS WRONG!! Price ended up much more expensive compared to other quotes, and costs were not fully disclosed. Terrible experience. read more

I had a very disappointing experience with All My Sons Moving & Storage, Albuquerque, NM and would strongly caution others before booking with this company. We scheduled a move for Saturday, March 21 and received multiple confirmation calls throughout the week confirming we were the first move of the day, with movers arriving between 8:00-9:30 AM. Based on those confirmations, we arranged our staff to be on-site and ready. At 8:30 AM the morning of the move, someone called to say there had been a "change" and that we were now the second move of the day. No explanation was provided and they could not give any updated arrival time. By 3:00 PM, we had still received no call and no movers had arrived. When I contacted the office, they said they still could not provide an ETA. Our entire day was wasted waiting. We rescheduled for the following Saturday, March 28. Leading up to that date, I received no confirmation calls or emails at all. I attempted multiple times to reach someone by phone and email with no response. Finally, on the morning of the move, I was able to get through and they confirmed movers would arrive by 9:30 AM, which they did. However, the larger issue is how the company handled the situation. I was told a manager or supervisor would call me regarding the failed move the previous weekend, but that never happened. When I called again to try to resolve the issue, a manager refused to speak with me directly. The customer service representative had to relay their message, which essentially amounted to, you are SOL. The movers who showed up on the second date did their job, but the scheduling failure, lack of communication, and refusal of management to address the situation was extremely unprofessional. I hired All My Sons for a short local move. The crew started out great, but they made a huge mistake -- they left an entire room of my belongings behind. Yes, I should've double-checked, but I was physically exhausted, grieving the loss of my father, and trusted them to be thorough. I missed checking the laundry room. When I called to report it, the person was condescending and unhelpful. He offered to fix it -- but only after my move-out deadline, which didn't help at all. My girlfriend called to try and resolve it calmly, but things got worse. They falsely accused me of being threatening, that's laughable. He told her it sounded like "a personal problem," and a corporate rep actually said, "I see why he hung up on you," before hanging up on her. They told us they "won't bump other customers" -- basically, once they've got your money, you're no longer a priority. Who has ever had a problem with a move right? Haha. Unfortunately, the service did not meet reasonable expectations, and several serious issues occurred during the process. During the pickup, only one mover was actively working for most of the time. As a result of poor handling, the floors in our rental property were scratched and damaged. Multiple boxes were dropped, and items were thrown onto the ground. Our couches were placed into storage, yet part of my table was left behind. Additionally, we discovered cracked glass items and dented appliances after the move. These damages are unacceptable. We were explicitly told that we would not see workers standing around vaping; however, the crew was clearly smoking marijuana in front of our house, which was both unprofessional and inappropriate. The supervisor on site did not provide proper direction or support to the team. He did not assist with packing the truck or managing the workload. The reason we were required to hire a third mover was for safety, yet the supervisor stood by and watched the movers struggle without intervening. This lack of leadership created an unsafe working environment and directly contributed to the problems we experienced. Best moving experience ever! We had to find last minute movers for 2 houses because the movers we hired were AWFUL. We called All My Sons, they came the next day, on time, with 2 trucks and the nicest crew. Jacob and Sebastian made sure everything was organized; they were prompt and professional and energetic and hardworking and just a pleasure to work with. Great attitudes and great personalities. I hired them to move my furniture, etc to my storage. I told them multiple times that I had two large TV's that needed boxed up. I mostly talked to Alan, who is the manager. They neglected to mention the TV boxes were $100 a piece until they showed up at my house... Needless to say I was unhappy about this. I had to run to Home Depot to get TV boxes which were $35 and $45 instead of $100. I had to buy bubble wrap for my painting since they neglected to mention they didn't have bubble wrap. I was told they had all needed supplies on their truck. They use three guys to do the moving. One of the guys smelled strongly of alcohol. Coming out of his pores... Didn't trust this guy with my moving my stuff. After about two hours suddenly that guy was gone and a new guy replaced him. The head mover, Josh, said he thought I called in a complaint about that guy. (I didn't) I had my house setup as an Airbnb so there wasn't a ton of stuff to pack. They mostly only had to pack up the dishes, etc in the kitchen. Plus paintings, etc. They charge $189/hr for three guys. At times they worked hard but 50-65% of the time two guys were standing around doing nothing or checking their phones, while Josh worked. It took them 5 hours to pack up my house and put everything in the truck. I think if they worked the entire time this all could have been done in 3 hours. I followed them to the storage which was about a 20 minute drive away. I was surprised when they stopped at a gas station on the way. I called Josh and he said they wanted to get drinks. They should have brought their own drinks and not done that on my time. That took 15 minutes. They unloaded the truck quite fast. I went to get some food while they did that. They didn't do a good job packing everything in the storage. My ristra got crushed and they didn't leave a path down the middle of the storage so I could access my things. (There was plenty of room to do so) They did seem to do a good job packing things and moving, (minus the issues above). No way to know for sure until everything gets unpacked someday. I called the manager Alan and complained about the issues above and he told me the guy that smelled of alcohol had a bad night and they these guys are human and need breaks... As for stopping to get drinks, he said that was normal for mover and he wouldn't do a refund for the 15 minutes. No apology for having the guy that smelled of alcohol working on my move. No offer of any reimbursement... Next time I will go with a more professionally run company. read more

Irreplaceable, sentimental items were stolen. Primarily a record collection, the only thing I inherited from my grandmother. That's not something that gets misplaced easily so they can't cite that. Hiring All My Sons Moving was my worst decision this year. They are dishonest and untrustworthy. They are unprofessional. Recommend you do not trust them with your possessions. They came unprepared, and the move had to be rescheduled. They misquoted me by 3x relative to the final cost. They overcharged me for time worked by 45 minutes and lied about that. They are unresponsive (once paid) They ruined some of my stuff. They didn't follow simple requests. I spent hours undoing as much of the damage as I could. 1/ Unprepared. I scheduled a Saturday move. The team that came to my house came unprepared -- they had the truck but did not have packaging materials. The move was rescheduled for a Monday, impacting many things in my life. 2/ Misled on cost. The initial quote was for two people for 2-3 hours. I provided pictures of everything. They ultimately sent three people, which took them 5 hrs and 15 minutes. They charged me for 6 hours. When I signed the paperwork to pay for 6 hours -- the mover told me, "Don't worry -- if we finish sooner, we'll give you a refund." I have sent multiple emails to All My Sons, but they have not responded. 3/ Misplaced items. My stuff is not where I want it. I was moving from one house to two locations -- a new home and a storage unit. The moving team didn't follow my instructions, so many things are not at my house and are deep in a storage unit. Further, in packing the storage unit, I had requested some things be toward the front for access. This was not followed, so I couldn't easily get anything. 4/ For items that needed to be shipped -- the team offered to pack them well. They did this. Do yourself a favor and go check out their yelp reviews. You will be glad you did. This is a really cut and dry story. Their team came out TWICE to give my client an estimate of services. I called a week before to make sure they're packing up everything. They assured me it's a small move with very little stuff, so they've should be done by 1 pm and off to the new house shortly after. 4pm rolls around, and the workers are told they need to stop packing and head to the new house. They'd gone past their scheduled time. They told us that we had to pay more to come back the next day. Even though we had sold off about 8 pieces of larger furniture AFTER they quoted us. It should have taken less time. At the end of the day, they left a single man (70 years old, disabled with no family) and his realtor to clean up the mess. I wish I would've read the yelp reviews. How does it take 5 hours to load a truck for a 2 bedroom small apartment with 3 movers? Because they were screwing around and boxing things without even asking if that was necessary. It wasn't. Also, they left bigger items such as the washer and dryer along with big tvs that don't fit in my SUV. So the job wasnt even completed. We saw some broken items as well. Was quoted a minimum price and was told the job would take 6 hours. At the end the price was over double what I was quoted. The foreman was regularly on the phone with his boss throughout the move. I asked to schedule at a certain time as well and I was contacted twice during the day of asking if they could start earlier. I already explained I was firm with the start time since the new place wasn't ready. I spoke with the boss about the price at the end and he had an attitude about it. I called All My Sons and was quoted $400 per hour for moving a few pieces of furniture a small distance in town. I called back that afternoon and was quoted $149 per hour. Nobody could answer for the huge discrepancy. Then, the poor kid for the move and had the most insane amount of paperwork that would have taken me an hour to actually read, and I had to sign it all on my moving dime. son Ryan and his girlfriend just used this company today in Denver, Colorado. They were quoted that the 5 mile job would be $200. They had about 10 items that they needed to get moved to their new place. After the move was finished they were charged $1000 for the move. When asked why they were told of hidden fees. One fee was $40 for each roll tape. Ryan was able to talk them down to $700. However, this is just a bait and switch scheme. Do not trust this company. When his girlfriend called to complain about the cost increase to the main office they hung up on her. Oh, shoot, I should have checked the Yelp rating before booking! Most of my items got moved, I think. Three days later, I'm still trying to identify what's in each gigantic box that I can't move on my own. Items were not carefully packed. Food and nonfood items were thrown together without caution. One box of stuff is now covered in cornmeal. Half of the items in the kitchen were just left there for me to move myself. They didn't use the supplies I had purchased and offered up at their dispatcher's recommendation. They left trash all over the house I'm moving out of. I asked if they wanted me to stay around, they said I was free to leave. That's my fault, I suppose. I checked in after a few hours, but they never contacted me for a walk-through when they were "done." Yes, I did get a small refund. Not enough, in my opinion, because there's still lots of stuff for me to move and extra cleaning. Pros: -They were very communicative. -Movers were nice. -I thought they worked fast considering they moved me from a third floor apt to my one story house -Only one thing was damaged (a hat that I intentionally left out so it didn't get damaged they decided to stuff it in a bag and it became trash) -Professionalism is 50/50 but that didn't bother me. Cons: -My bookcase was moved and more can't be found in either home. I tried reaching out and got no response. Not sure if it was forgotten on the truck or accidentally broke and they didn't wanna say anything -When I checked the bill they charged me for supplies they didn't use (only used one roll of plastic and one roll of tape and pads for 2 dressers and charged for more) -They were not very careful with my dresser and it's a little wobbly now and has some marks on it still -They bill in 15 min increments and charged me until 7. I was told if they ended earlier I would be refunded for the time. They ended at 615 and I was never refunded the $96ish. Overall, I was charged 1-7 and it was $932 total. Tom and Jesse arrived between their scheduled time. We were ready to go: our boxes were packed and labeled, furniture was covered in blankets and wrapped and they were able to load our 15ft UHaul in exactly two hours. Our apartment was on the second floor and we had a two bedroom two bath and none of furniture was scratched or broken. Jesses' packing of the truck was flawless. Absolute nightmare! They stole my belongings and charged more than agreed upon price. October 2022 estimator Josh gave an estimate with 3 different "not to exceed" prices. 1st option was if they packed the entire home. 2nd option was if they wrapped/boxed my mirrors, TVs and large artwork. 3rd option was if they did not pack anything, just moved it all. We were moving from a large house but was assured with 2 trucks and 4 men they could get it all done in 1 day. Our new home was still under construction so our items were to be moved into storage. I told Josh we would like to go with the 2nd option where they pack our TVs, artwork and mirrors. The day of the move I was told they did not have any TV/mirror/artwork boxes so would not package those for us after all. About 12 different young men were in and out of my home that day. About half showed up in sandals and sweatpants and spent most of their time smoking on my porch and wandering around the property. The distance from one property to the other is less than 2 miles. It should still take less than 5 minutes to arrive. Their trucks took at least an hour to get from one location to the next. At 6pm the first day they clearly weren't going to finish. At 6:30 the trucks arrived to the storage area and I was told they would be back in the morning to finish the job. I was then told I had to pay for that day's labor before they would unload my belongings into the storage. The amount asked for exceeded the "not to exceed" price I was quoted. I tried calling and texting Josh, who was supposed to be my point of contact, but did not get an answer. I tried calling the office but they were closed for the day. They were literally holding my belongings hostage unless I paid them more than what was quoted. The next morning I reached someone in the office. I told him about the charges and my concerns with the amount of time it was taking them to get from one house to the storage. I was assured they would make it right. He said I would definitely be due a refund but he wasn't sure exactly the amount until they knew how long they were going to spend on that 2nd day to finish the job. I took him at his word and agreed they could come out to finish the job. There was one truckload remaining to be moved. It took them an hour and a half to get to the storage. Once they were there and unloaded I was asked for my credit card again and told that there was additional charges for that day. I said absolutely not, I was told I would be due a refund and I refused to sign his paperwork. He said to take it up with the office. When I called the office back I was told the time for the 2nd day exceeded the amount I had paid and that my card would be charged the difference. I told them I did not agree and wanted a complete itemized statement of everything I was charged for. I still have not received that. I did receive a copy of a BOL which clearly shows I did not sign in agreement. They never did make good on the overcharges and do not respond to emails and phone calls. I disputed with my cc company but because the total charges were less than the highest not to exceed price on the quote (as if they packed the entire home) the cc company said there was nothing they could do. Now that our new home is complete and we have unpacked the storage units we have found that many items were stolen. This includes TVs, china and crystal, shoe collections and much more. Six month later review about a cross country move: Awful experience. Looks like q bunch of sleepy, eye encrusted teens with no clue of how to pack. Our first day felt good and the next slid downhill right away. We used U-Hall Pods that came with blankets and U-Haul was great. The movers did not use the blankets and were prepared to leave the blankets behind. They lost some hardware to my bed frames that render a quick rebuild useless. I had to go from 6 to 9 Pods to accommodate the move. There are lots of scrapes and rips on heavy furniture. Ask them for referrals before you move! read more

All my sons moved our entire home into storage for 3 months and then moved everything to our new home in NM. We paid for the very expensive insurance (881.00) for the move to NM. Arriving in NM there were several pieces damaged and all hardware, feet and remote or our adjustable bed was missing. I have filed a claim and was denied because even though they were the moving company for both moves, they were not liable because they did not have control over the storage unit. When they loaded the items from the storage unit all items were in tact and no issue. Somehow when they arrive at the destination in NM they are damaged. How is that not their responsibility? Don't use this company!!!! And for sure don't pay for the ridiculously expensive insurance, it's usless. read more

I hired this company to move 6 office desks and was quoted just over$300.00. The movers took 3 hours to move the desk from one location to the other, which was approximately a 10 minute commute. In doing a walk through unfortunately after the movers were gone it was found that the largest desk 7 ft in length with hutch was left behind. After,2 days trying to reach a live person it was arranged for movers to go back for the desk. I had to gain permission to re-enter the building which had been sold, waited 2 hours for the movers who never showed. I would NEVER use or recommend All My Sons for your moving needs. They scheduled my move out date wrong and fit me in a full day after I was supposed to move. They showed up in a 26' PENSKE truck, which I thought was unprofessional for a nationwide company. They made me hire a 3rd guy or said they couldn't do my move ( a 1200 sf condo).They charged me more than DOUBLE the estimated cost, When I said I didn't want to pay that, the threatened to take all my stuff that was on the truck, so they forced me to pay the amount they gave. They didn't pack the truck well and said they couldn't fit all my stuff in. I had to rent a 16 foot truck to move all they left. Then they threw most of my stuff in the garage because they said it was either that, or pay them overtime. And the management won't do anything to make this right!!! What a SCAM. read more

I've recently moved and I had to hire movers. I chose this company because they had good reviews and they were responsive. The estimator that was supposed to come out, didn't. They chose to do an over the phone estimate. At the 2nd location, the estimator came out and was thorough in listing everything. The price was good. The movers were careful with the load. They packed well. However, if you wonder why the low rating, is because they underestimated the volume, all the stuff in my garage was left behind, and a lot of the stuff was also left behind due to lack of space in the truck. The utility room was left untouched. At the delivery site, they rushed through the unload. The boxes were clearly labeled yet I found all the boxes mixed, so I had to sort through boxes which one goes where. If you have very little stuff to move, they may be ok. But when you move a homestead and pay over $14,000 for 2 locations, and you're still left with items that were listed to be moved and yet they were not, it's a bitter taste. The work went over the timeframe allocated so we had to pay extra. We did. Yet, now, we are left with at least another truck load to figure out how to get it to the new location. Definitely, not value based for a big move. read more
