    Lazy packing of my ceramics with my own dish towels, despite charging me for packing materials

    THIS ENTIRE COMPANY IS A SCAM It doesn't matter how many people I talk to, or how many reviews I give, they simply do not care about the customer. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY For those interested in the whole story: All My Sons moving damaged my beloved antique desk beyond repair, dented my neighbors gutter with their truck, took 8 HOURS for a move that was supposed to be 3-4hrs, and in the end forced me to pay before releasing any of my stuff. I never write bad reviews but this company's lack of response to their poor service has forced me to warn people. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After speaking with the branch manager 3 separate times, I never heard back from anyone in customer service like they said I would, and instead was sent a damage claim form.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I filled it out for my desk worth $2500, and they offered a measly $165 as long as I signed a document saying I would not disparage them online. Well I would rather send a warning then get a fraction of my money back. UPDATE- spoke again with customer care, it seems the company policy is to only offer $165. They really do NOT care about the quality of their service. This move cost me $2300 for a 2 bedroom move that had a second location literally 2 MINUTES away. We did not have an extreme excess of stuff - I was expecting to pay about $1000 after our phone consultation, and ended up paying double. I know for a fact no other moving company in the area would charge this much for a small, local move like this. The movers were obviously not trained properly, taking double the amount of time I was quoted, damaging my stuff, charging me for a kitchen pack where they used my kitchen towels haphazardly wrap my fragile dishes and throw them in a box, and charging me extra for their "packing materials". Not to mention when they finally left the first location, they took a 40min detour when the second place was 2min away. I was lucky I had an AirTag on some luggage because I thought they were going to steal my stuff. They returned and one of the guys started trying to fix my desk with no experience, for OVER AN HOUR of move time that I was charged for! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Absolutely horrible experience. I will keep calling them until they give me a proper resolution.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This was a crazy amount of money to charge for the longest, crappiest move I've ever made experienced. Do not move with this company. They have obviously grown into a corporation that devalues proper training and good service in order to simply make more money for their investors.

    I'm not one to usually post but I have to after this disaster with All My Sons Moving Company. AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE. The day of the move: I get a call at 8:40 AM from the driver saying they are pumping gas and will be on their way. He calls me back at 9 AM saying they discovered that they have to go back to fill up on DEF because it was low. Now I'm upset that I've been waiting this whole time and they're going to be late. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I call AMS at 9:11AM and spoke to Eric who says I understand your frustration but it's not 9:30AM yet but I'll give you a 5% discount for the inconvenience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I get a call at 9:28 from the driver with their ETA being 9:42. Three movers arrive and on the walkthrough the movers state he doesn't remove appliances and can't remove TVs off the mounts. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I called Eric back at 10:17AM to explain the things that were promised that I have in writing. He says if they are not comfortable then move whatever and they will send another team later to grab my washer, dryer and fridge, TVs and everything else at no extra cost.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Two of the movers are actually putting in work but I will say the walk through was kinda useless. The third mover could not help them lift anything heavy, terrible at wrapping, and practically useless when I CLEARLY mentioned I needed help lifting heavy things. So I practically paid for 2 movers instead of 3. I had to help them the entire time and the employees were even shocked that I helped and said "this is the most a customer has ever helped us" and were thankful cause if not we would still be unloading as I type this at 2am. Even my mother in law and pregnant wife did more work than the third person who just stood there 90% of the time staring unless told to do something basic. Finally we get to the new home at 3pm while I'm frustrated with the move as well as the other 2 hardworking employees. They were just as confused as why they would add someone incapable of lifting heavy objects despite the obvious job description. I bought them lunch as a nice gesture because they actually did a really good job for the terrible situation we were all in. Eric calls and says he's got someone on the way to grab the appliances and TVs so I send my wife over there to open the door for him. Also, Eric tells his employees to immediately stop moving into the new home, take the truck that has everything loaded back to the old house to help that person disconnect and load everything. I was irate at this point. I said why would you make your crew drive back to the old place with all my stuff to increase your liability of breaking something. Tell the guy that's there to disconnect/disassemble whatever he can and when we're done at least unloading here then they can go over and help. I said "Eric if this were your move today and you were me would you be happy with this?" The silence was deafening until finally a "No" mumbled from his mouth. He finally agreed to allow the crew to keep working and I was not paying a penny until this move was complete. Needless to say, this was an utter, complete failure from a management level for what was needed for this job. Two guys show up in an empty truck that were instructed to come help move the fridge and things but Eric gave them the wrong address. They were very helpful and efficient but I eventually asked if one of them minded going over to help the guy with the fridge etc at the old place and he drove over there. They finally pull up with the final truck around 7pm. Employees were trying to figure out who was going to take a truck to the airport and moving things around which wasted more time. All in all the move did not finish until 10pm. Eric left for the day and so now Tony is the next person that is being passed along this absurd situation. He tried to charge me for 12 hours of labor even though Eric said there would be no extra charges after 545pm that his employees witnessed on speaker phone. I honestly should not have paid a penny to this terrible company when I'm the customer and my pregnant wife, mother-in-law and I all had to help because of their lack of planning from a management level. I hope this helps anybody looking to use this company to go elsewhere. The two hardworking employees in the beginning and the last two additional were great at their job and they even expressed that this job should not have been difficult and we should've been done within 4-5 hours. I paid for 3 people and got 2.. I guess the third was myself yet I paid $1700 for this nightmare.

    I would not recommend All My Sons Moving based on my experience. 1 of the 2 movers who showed up had poor attitudes and were careless from the start. They were not careful handling my belongings, and several boxes arrived broken or damaged. Even some of my property was broken and mishandled during the move. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Hiring a moving company is supposed to give peace of mind, but instead, this experience was stressful and disappointing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] For $2000 I expected professionalism and respect for my belongings--unfortunately, I received neither.

Moving is never an easy or enjoyable process, but the Einstein team made it as smooth and stress-free as possible. The movers were incredibly professional, efficient, careful, and courteous from start to finish. I have several antiques and delicate glass and china pieces, and I was extremely impressed that everything arrived safely with no damage. There was a minor mishap involving my printer, but their claims department responded immediately and handled the situation professionally. Their willingness to quickly address the issue and make things right was another example of their excellent customer service. Before beginning, they walked the house and asked questions about how we wanted things organized. I was impressed on how much they were each able to move by themselves! They were beasts! Everything was loaded from our old house quickly. There were a few items that didn't fit in the truck but we were able to go back later and retrieve. Christian and Cameron wasted no time upon arrival at our new house. They were communicative and checked in periodically to ensure boxes and furniture were going to the right locations. They quickly unloaded and had our furniture reassembled in no time. We were very impressed by them. They carried themselves professionally and were friendly. They had us unloaded quicker than expected! They were very appreciative of the Gatorade we picked up for them and thanked us several times. After unloading, they walked the house with us to ensure everything was where we wanted it. Can't say enough good things about these two and about Einstein Moving. Price was very reasonable especially considering their efficiency and quality of work. Well-worth the cost. I've already recommended Einstein Moving to others. Would definitely hire again!     BEWARE - BAIT-AND-SWITCH PRICING!…read more I rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent experience with this company deserves one. I chose Firehouse Movers because of their glowing Google reviews, and their initial estimate was very competitive. Unfortunately, the final bill was a complete shock. To begin with, they insisted on a virtual estimate and refused to come out in person and assess the job. This was a 5000 sq ft home full of furniture, and I wanted the most accurate estimate possible. I asked multiple times for an in-person estimate, but my requests were declined. By moving day, I had sold two-bedroom sets and several other large pieces of furniture that were included in the original estimate. Even with significantly fewer items to move, the final price was more than double the original estimate. On the day of the move, I somehow went from needing two trucks, as stated in the estimate, to four. And from 9 to 17 total man hours. At the end of a long day, my husband just wanted them gone, so he reluctantly paid the bill before they could log anymore hours. When I called to discuss the bill, Firehouse claimed I had verbally approved the additional associated costs over the phone, citing a recording, which was completely false. I have asked multiple times for this recording, but I have not received it. That was not a small miscalculation. Our move was grossly underestimated. This whole experience felt misleading and dishonest. Stay away.

    I hired Black Tie Movers for a pack-and-move from Cleveland to Columbus, Ohio. What followed was a…read morepoorly planned, multi-day move that failed to meet even basic expectations. It was advertised as "Life Is a Highway", but by the end, I was left asking "What Hurts the Most?" and the answer was paying for wasted time, missed commitments, and an incomplete job. Friday: The crew arrived with no packing materials at all, not even tape, despite the order clearly being for a pack-and-move. They spent roughly four hours driving around trying to find supplies, time I was still charged for. Calls to two different managers went unanswered or returned. The agreed schedule was pack and load Friday, deliver Saturday. Instead, packing happened Friday, loading Saturday, and delivery was pushed to Sunday, giving next to no time for unpacking before Monday morning. Both my home and a storage unit were listed on the quote and discussed in advance. On Saturday, I was told they could not get everything from both locations, leaving items behind. I now have to rent my own truck and finish the move myself. To be fair, the movers themselves were young, friendly, and clearly trying their best. However, they were not trained to pack or properly protect items. It was obvious they were sent to move furniture and boxes, not perform a full pack-and-move. This is a management and planning failure, not a crew or attitude issue. This move involved poor preparation, missed commitments, wasted paid time, and an incomplete job. For a company marketing itself as a premium service, this experience was anything but. The price paid was well over the value of the service rendered.
