    While some of our experience with Bellhop was decent, we had some issues as well. We chose Bellhop because we were moving from Texas back to Tennessee and we were moving to Chattanooga where Bellhop was founded. Our sales person, Victor, was great. He answered all of my questions and gave me every bit of information I needed to feel prepared for the move. We opted to have them do our packing for us. The packers arrived two days before our move date and I initially thought they would be there for two days. I now know from talking with customer service that they were only scheduled for one day (8 hours). It was a team of 6 packers who were only there for about 5 1/2 hours. We were charged $2,400 for the packing service which is way too much but we didn't have time to pack ourselves so we went with it. Before they left, we did a walk through of the house with them to see that everything was packed, but we didn't notice the issues until after they left and this is where the bad part of the experience began. My husband happened to open one of the boxes looking for some shoes that he did not mean to pack and saw that they had packed an iron with water in it in the same box with his dress shoes and boots. This prompted us to start looking closer. There were boxes where the tape was already coming off the box. There were extra large and large boxes that had not been fully packed so if you set another box on top of them, they would cave in. I found that my fine china dinnerware and glasses were in one of those boxes. They shrink wrapped many of our pictures rather than bubble wrapping them. In the end, we spent the better part of Wednesday and Thursday repacking things they had already packed because they were just in a hurry trying to get to their next job. They did not care about packing our items with any sort of care. I contacted Bellhop customer service the next day and was on hold for over 30 minutes and never got to a person. I contacted Victor, our sales person and he was able to open a ticket for me with the "Move Success " team. I sent plenty of pictures that confirmed the terrible packing job. It took them a full week to provide an outcome (even though I called or texted almost every day) because they said they needed to talk to the packing team who I assume was not calling them back. They initially only refunded me $200 but I eventually was able to speak to Gracelle who I believe is in management on the Move Success team and she was very helpful. She listened to my concerns and ended up refunding me an additional $708 (which equates to charges for 2 hours of packing time). While the service did not fully meet our expectations, the customer service team in the end did attempt to make things right and listened to my concerns. Hopefully they will take lessons learned from our feedback and make some changes in their packing team sourcing and in the way they deliver customer service.     Mover Beware! My experience with Bellhop includes movers showing up 24 hours late, not using any blankets or pads (which I found out on delivery), and a whole household of items destroyed. Broken nightstands, dressers, tables, and chairs. To top it off, I received a credit of $403 for my damaged goods. A supposedly standard $0.60 per pound. My damages are likely $9,000 in fairness, so the $403 is a joke. I heard from my move coordinator Joan one time, 3 hours after my movers were supposed to start. She was out of office during my entire move and didn't bother responding to any calls or texts. The customer helpline phone number isn't answered, by the way. Bellhop will tell you that they are short staffed. I have an apartment full of broken furniture. Bellhop May be cheaper than the alternative, but it is most definitely not worth it. Good concept. Horrible execution. And even worse customer service. They are not motivated by your dissatisfaction.

    Not until now did we know how horrible they are. Long story short. We paid over 600 for moving a 1b1b. They did not do any wrapping. What's more ridiculous is that one mover left in the midway and saying that he has another appointment. The company says we have wait for an hour for them to schedule a backup. At the end, I have to move myself with one of the mover. Not until we have tried another mover, we do not know moving can be such a smooth process. I have attached my receipt, in case anyone would think I am a bot. If you move, stay away from them. They only made the website looks simple and straightforward to you.

    Move went fairly decently. Only moved 4 miles or so and had packed and staged everything. However, they must have dropped a few boxes and broke a lot of our kitchenware. I bought insurance, submitted a claim with pictures and value, but have not seen any response or results for that claim after 40 days. Called more than 3 times, used the messaging service online. Better to go with a more substantial/reputable company and pay more than to deal with the hassle. (There has been no progress or resolution as of 9/11 8:25am CT)

Everything was loaded from our old house quickly. There were a few items that didn't fit in the truck but we were able to go back later and retrieve. Christian and Cameron wasted no time upon arrival at our new house. They were communicative and checked in periodically to ensure boxes and furniture were going to the right locations. They quickly unloaded and had our furniture reassembled in no time. We were very impressed by them. They carried themselves professionally and were friendly. They had us unloaded quicker than expected! They were very appreciative of the Gatorade we picked up for them and thanked us several times. After unloading, they walked the house with us to ensure everything was where we wanted it. Can't say enough good things about these two and about Einstein Moving. Price was very reasonable especially considering their efficiency and quality of work. Well-worth the cost. I've already recommended Einstein Moving to others. Would definitely hire again! Christian and Cameron worked hard on a very hot summer day and were well deserving of the generous tip. Thanks for an amazing experience! You have two wonderful employees!

    BEWARE - BAIT-AND-SWITCH PRICING!…read more I rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent experience with this company deserves one. I chose Firehouse Movers because of their glowing Google reviews, and their initial estimate was very competitive. Unfortunately, the final bill was a complete shock. To begin with, they insisted on a virtual estimate and refused to come out in person and assess the job. This was a 5000 sq ft home full of furniture, and I wanted the most accurate estimate possible. I asked multiple times for an in-person estimate, but my requests were declined. By moving day, I had sold two-bedroom sets and several other large pieces of furniture that were included in the original estimate. Even with significantly fewer items to move, the final price was more than double the original estimate. On the day of the move, I somehow went from needing two trucks, as stated in the estimate, to four. And from 9 to 17 total man hours. At the end of a long day, my husband just wanted them gone, so he reluctantly paid the bill before they could log anymore hours. When I called to discuss the bill, Firehouse claimed I had verbally approved the additional associated costs over the phone, citing a recording, which was completely false. I have asked multiple times for this recording, but I have not received it. That was not a small miscalculation. Our move was grossly underestimated. This whole experience felt misleading and dishonest. Stay away.

You know how apartment moving goes.. some times, your unit isn't exactly how you imagined it to be and there are corners and curbs you don't expect to be there on the day of the move. WELL! That's exactly what happened with our huge a** couch. They twisted it. They turned it. Nope. Nothing was working. They brought the couch all the way downstairs and Jonathan had this idea to remove the door to create more leeway. And what do you know.. it worked!! I was literally looking up apartment friendly couches and was planning on putting our current one in storage/selling it lol. Thankfully we didn't have to do that because I love this couch. To do what they do.. in this Texas weather.. I applaud them. I'm so glad we got such a great team (even the agent who booked our move was extremely professional and got back to me in a timely manner, main reason why we booked them in the first place!) Will definitely be moving with them again next time.. maybe in 2 years haha.

    The quoting process was fine, they got back to us in a timely manner. But the real disappointment…read moreis with the moving process. We got 2 young guys who didn't seem very well trained on best moving practices nor were they very well prepared in materials. They didn't have any mattress bags nor enough saran wrap to protect our mattresses or headboards. Luckily we had bags and bubble wrap left over from our last move so we used that. They were also going to use the dirty moving blankets to wrap our mattress but we asked them to use saran wrap, which they did but they ran out of saran wrap and left half of our mattress exposed during the move. When moving our consoles and couches, they also packed them into the truck so that the 4 legs of the heavy furniture would bear the brunt of the traffic movement. When we first moved out here, the other company took the legs off and laid the furniture on the side, effectively spreading the weight across the entire console instead of focusing it on the legs. I had to ask them to do the same thing because I didn't want to risk ruining the furniture. When it came time to move the mattresses into the new house, they dragged it over the mud and ripped the bag, and if we hadn't caught that, they would've brought the muddy mattress bag inside. I hate to micromanage but I feel like if I didn't, our furniture definitely would've gotten more damage / mud / dirty than it should have. The young guys seemed to work hard, but they were woefully untrained and ill prepared for the move.
