1 STAR -- DO NOT USE ALL MY SONS MOVING We were quoted $1,400 for a full household move scheduled for January 27, 2026, confirmed multiple times over two weeks. This included 3 movers, 5 hours (including travel) and a free kitchen pack. We paid a deposit and reconfirmed all details by phone and text. On the morning of the move (9am), we were asked to reschedule due to crew issues. This wasn't possible as we had already packed, arranged childcare, and have 2 infant children. Arrival time kept being pushed back, and the movers didn't arrive until 3pm. I asked if there would be enough time for them to finish the job and they said yes. By early evening, the truck was full and the job was nowhere near complete. We were then told the movers were reaching their legal work-hour limit. At that point we learned: * Our move was allegedly not marked as confirmed * The free kitchen pack was missing from the manifest * The manifest incorrectly listed seven deep freezers (we have one) We were told only essential items could be unloaded and that the rest of our belongings would be stored overnight in freezing temperatures and we were required to pay $800 even though they job was not anywhere near done. We were then quoted $2,200 for that unfinished day, despite the original $1,400 quote. The following morning, no one arrived at the promised time and no phone call as promised. When they did arrive later, they required payment before unloading and stated the final total was $3,300. They offered two options . 1. Pay $2,200 which takes off the second day 2. Pay the full $3,334with a 25% discount We refused as we should not be responsible for the second day and them not completing the job as promised . They had our belongings returned to our original home. The moving crew themselves were professional and hardworking, but management and office communication--largely handled through a Texas corporate office--were entirely misleading and ineffective. During the move there was significant damage to my property and conduct by members of the moving crew that raised serious safety concerns while they were working inside my home. After the move I discovered drug residue left behind in the house that my child later came into contact with, which created an unacceptable safety risk for my family. I reported the situation to the company and provided documentation and photos. Despite the seriousness of the incident and the damage involved, the company offered only $2,519 to resolve the claim. I attempted to resolve the matter directly and professionally with the company before posting this review, but the issue remains unresolved at this time. The issue was that the final charge was more than double the estimate: from $800 to $1,700. The crew's inventory sheet provided by corporate listed less than half of what was actually to be moved, with the two-man crew saying based on the amount of material it should've been three. I provided a complete inventory and even offered to send a spreadsheet with everything itemized, and was told on the phone not to worry about it, the crew would handle it. WOULD NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Told me it would be 153 an hour for two movers. While on the phone, I asked if this was the total for everything I would be charged once they got there. I repeated myself multiple times to make sure there were not any other charges that would be added on. Was told that was all I would have to pay by the hour. The movers get there and one guy is on his phone the whole time talking to someone else. I felt bad for his partner because his partner was doing A lot By himself. Once we got to my house, one guy was still on his phone and was complaining about the job and said it would be his last day so he didn't care. He was very unprofessional. At the end of my service I was told I needed to pay over $500. The movers were there from 5 PM to 6:30 PM. There is no way that equals over $500 if my rate was 153 an hour with no extra add-ons like I had asked, and they were only there for an hour and a half. They had me for 6 hours and moved me in 9. The charge was $2300. When I called to see if they could possibly give me a $500 break, the manager did not hesitate to tell me $700 was 2019 prices. I asked how $2300 plays into 2025 prices as again, I was quoted at $1000 and that $2300 is more than twice what I was quoted. He refused to even give me a break over their financial error. Absolutely horrific experience. Booked them weeks in advance and made sure they would have tools, boxes, etc to help me break down and pack a few pieces of furniture that I wasn't able to do myself. I was assured they were a full service moving company that could assist with those requests. On the day of the move, afternoon came around and I still hadn't heard from them on arrival time. After calling at 4pm, I was assured they were still coming. 30 mins later I received a call saying their first move of the day went longer than expected and they were cancelling me. I told them they needed to figure something out as my pods were being picked up the next day. Over the next 2 hours I received calls they were working to gather a team. At 6pm two young men in an unmarked suv and no uniforms arrived at my home with no equipment. They were able to load the boxes, but had no tools to help me break down the furniture I needed to pack in the pod. Therefore, I was forced to leave it. When they were almost done, I received a call from All My Sons saying they were canceling my move (again). When I said well then who is in my house, the woman recommended I "lock my doors" as it wasn't them. When I called the next day to make a complaint, I found out All My Sons had called a contract company (at NO time was I informed of this during). I have called numerous times to try to resolve my complaint - I didn't get what I paid for- and every time I am assured they are looking into it and I will receive a call back, crickets. Instead of just taping them they put them in one of their boxes which resulted in more time and charges and they went in drawers and closets and put things that were on the floor and trash to fill them. It is illegal for a moving company to tell you that they will not unload your property until you pay them for the move including estimated time it will take to unload. I should have called law enforcement because that was the worse part of the whole moving experience with this horrible company. I had to make them leave because they continued to do things that I did not want them to. On February 8,2024 I contracted All My Sons Moving and Storage to move me from one house to another. During the move one of the movers stole my property. I immediately called EJ the supervisor concerning this issue. At no time were they concerned about me or my property. Just shielded the person who stole my property. I made the statement that " All I want is my property back now!! However, they did nothing for me on my behalf for their own employee who committed a larceny (Felony) who stole my property. So had no other choice but to file a police report. After receiving a copy of the police report that was written, a copy was provided to All My Sons Moving and Storage. The employee that stole my property was fired the next day. His picture is attached. Several letters were sent by registered mail to their own CEO Robert Peterson, requesting that he resolve this issue rather than going to court. The response was zero. He cannot even except responsibility of his own employees for their actions. I will be filing in small claims court for the replacement value of my property and also for breach of contract because of what they did to me. read more

Well over a dozen self moves and 1 commercial company move and this has to be the "worst" experience we have ever encountered. 1) It took 3 separate phone calls to confirm my move and update my apartment size and its contents 2) there were 4 separate phone numbers for point of contact: very confusing 3) There as also "texts" from an "AI" generated person supposedly called Brian the Operations Manager; that Originally I thought as a live person but was told later that was just AI 4) it took 2 young adults from approx 9:30 am until 6:00 pm to "semi complete our move...I says semi as they left a lot of items behind at the old apartment 5) they re assured us that they would be back at 7:00 am to finish the job....well 8:00 am came and gone and no movers! I had to call the main office to find out where our movers were; needless to say the manager I talked with had no clue what was going on? He finally said that he would send over 2 more movers to "complete" my move and he also said "we dont normally due this" but in this situation Ill not charge! 6) On that above note about not charging: my original estimate was $159.00 / hr based on 3-4 hours + trip charge $159.00 for 1 hour travel; what my final bill came to was nearly $1600.00 !!!!!! 7) now mind you myself, my wife and my son also helped move by taking household goods in our own vehicles making 6 trips with our own personal cars (3) sep cars back and forth all day 8) we even provided waters and gatorades to the workers as it so so hot this day 9) While finally leaving I noticed the inside of their truck had so much "negative space" as to if properly loaded; could have fit a 2 bedroom apartment into a 26 foot truck! 10) the workers were in constant communication with their dispatcher all day as they were complaining that they needed help and the dispatcher was asking why it was taking so long 11) the 2 workers did come to us and say that the company is sending over 2 more movers but they never showed: They told us later on that the 2 that were to come over were sent home and that when they were done with our move they had to go onto another move that the other 2 drivers were scheduled to do. 12) We also told the movers not to wrap any of our itemsd as they said the supplies would be very expensive. We paid $502 to have 5 pieces of furniture moved from one house to our place. An add'l $150 for them to dispose of our old couch. The whole reason this came about was the couch; the other pieces were icing on the cake. It was the couch I wanted. It was brought in all wrapped up in cellophane which I thought was kinda odd since that was not done for the chair/ottoman (other 2 pieces were wood). It looked good but no one sat on it while the movers were there. Even tipped them! My son lives with me, and we're both dealing with disabilities. We were just glad it was done. I did comment on the little wood pieces left on the floor. Also I noticed that the bottom left side of the couch didn't look as squared off as the right side. Again, odd, but I hadn't seen the couch before hand because getting into the SUV multiple times, climbing steps, etc., is out of the question for me. My son had seen it and said it was in great shape. He has to use a cane to get around but can sometimes manage better than me so he was the one to look at it. He said he hadn't seen any visible difference when he looked at it. Odd, but, again, I wasn't sure what to think. He went to lay down on it and rest while I laid down in my room. Imagine how I felt when he came in there a short time later distressed informing me the couch was broken on the left side. You could see where the seat was collapsing! My son is of average weight, in case you're wondering. I didn't have a copy of the digital contract that was supposed to have been sent for downloading. I called All My Sons 3 to 4 times and asked to have it resent but it never was although their payment was swiftly deducted. So, my advice if you hire them, buy the liability insurance they push you to buy (very hard & several times). I just couldn't keep spending more money. Don't let them leave your premises before you make sure you receive the digital contract and can download it cause the office won't provide it afterwards. Check the furniture for damage before they leave and watch them take it out/off the truck. Neither my son nor I were in any physical shape to be outside and watch that day, nor could I have made a hands-on inspection. Shawn and Scott did a good job moving my items , early Dec 2023 to a 10x 10 storage space. The items didn't even fill the whole space. I felt the cost was ridiculous to do this job however it was right in line with what others charged. The cost is not their fault but it is a factor. I used all my son's moving company to move from one apartment to another apartment in Indianapolis. The only things they moved were couches tv and desk. The movers were awesome, Jamon Williams and his partner were great and handled everything with care. The only bad part of all my sons moving are all of the fees that are added on. When you call to get a quote they only tell you $169 per hour. They don't let you know it's a 17% fuel charge and they charge for an hour of travel. Any tape or equipment they use they charge for. I would give them a ZERO if I could. I hired these movers with the understanding that I was leaving my husband and time was a factor. First off, they were 2 hours late, which put the entire move behind adding a lot of stress to an already stressful situation. They stole $300 in cash from me, straight out of my purse, knowing I was becoming a single mom with 3 kids. They broke almost all of my fragile items, even things that were packed in bubble wrap. Items I've had for years that I have moved with many times with no issues before they got ahold of my stuff. They broke and collapsed 3 of my bookcases. They left the screws behind for my couch, so my couch was useless with the back falling off for days after the move until a relative came over to fix it. They also did not bring the bolts for my child's headboard so now that's useless too. They left almost every box in the living room, even though they were marked for which room to go in. So I've been lugging very heavy boxes up the stairs on my own for days. They left huge holes in the walls of the house I was leaving, so now I'll have to pay to fix those too. I've called multiple times. The first couple of times I was assured they'd look into it and call me back. I have never received a call back or any communication from their end. Now they won't even answer for me at all. I can not believe I hired a legitimate moving company to handle my items and this is what happened, broke my items, damaged my house and stole all my cash. First I called for a general quote knowing it could be a little higher. They estimated $1200-1300 and sent a truck with 3 guys. They get there and I go over what needs to be moved. The guy tells me the job is too big for this truck and it needs 4 guys. I suggested they move all the bigger items first then finish the load with whatever boxes and smaller items and if everything didn't fit then I'd be responsible for getting everything left at a later date. As they're lining the truck up to the front door in the grass where I told him, he goes to straighten out the truck and rolls down my yard and gets stuck. So for an hour and a half me and my buddies are trying to get him unstuck and eventually had a neighbor with a tow strap pull them out while all 3 guys sit in the truck and never helped us putting boards and things around the tires to help the situation. So they loaded several items and pretty much all the larger items, the guy ask me to confirm if they have gotten everything. I looked around and said you haven't put any boxes on the truck or small items like kitchen chairs on the back. He said for liability reasons he couldn't load boxes in the rear of the truck since he wouldn't have a way to secure them. I'm not one to argue and said that's not what we agreed too. Finally I said just go get the truck to the new home. After everything is unloaded I get my bill and it is over $1700 with a house still full of boxes and smaller lamps, chairs etc. Looking at the bill later they started hanging me when they got there as they sit in the truck stuck in the mud. As I'm going through the house after they leave I start seeing several pieces of furniture scratched and chipped. A few days later I unwrap my 75 inch TV that I had wrapped in blankets and cardboard and found something have pierced a hole in the screen. My worst experience ever with a moving company. The two movers were terrific, and the price for their services was more than fair. But the extra fees the company charged were excessive. I moved exactly ONE BLOCK, but the fuel charge alone was $164, which means I bought them 55 gallons of fuel! Additionally, they charged $149 just to drive to my condo -- I wish I got paid to drive to my job -- AND they charged me $180 for tape used to wrap only a few items (we asked them to move only one delicate item and NO appliances). Bottom line: Only 60 percent of my bill was for movers. Ridiculous! I will never use this company again. read more

I wanted to leave a positive review as this company has a lot of terrible reviews. I hired this company a bit last minute and the night before the move discovered all the bad reviews on yelp and even BBB. I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best. Deshawn showed up with this crew and they were absolute rock stars and very polite men. All charges were explained and nothing was unclear. The only reason why I didn't give five stars is because I had to pay for their half hour lunch even though they said I wouldn't. read more
