The actual movers where really good however they didn't start until 3 pm and then the office overcharged me. They charged me for 12 rolls of packing tape when they barely used a 1/2 roll. I called twice for a refund of that charge and they kept saying g they would do it but never did. TL;DR - Movers held our items on the truck until payment was made prior to unloading. Movers had no experience moving items (uncovered mattress, face down on the sidewalk with the mover on top of it) They did not understand how to load a truck (small items were loaded first and not stacked). Claimed truck was 'full' despite being half full. Movers were instructed not to unload our items at our destination, UNTIL payment was made (which how can that be if time to unload was not accounted for?). Damaged walls and items. Had to call 2 friends to help unload the truck. Hands down the worst company I have ever worked with.We used them for a move on April 2024 to move our items from our townhome to a house that was 0.3miles away. The move took 6 hours longer than expected, despite having already broken items down and made them easily accessible. The moving crew had 0 equipment and were extremely unskilled in moving the most basic items, including a mattress. They called a week before the move to get an estimated list of items that I would need moved, during which on the phone call that I explained I was currently travelling and can only list of what large items come to mind and approximately 25-30 boxes for the miscellaneous items. There was no follow up email sent to gather a formal list of all the items needing moved. On moving day, movers were 2 hours late and 2/3 workers showed up in an unbranded moving truck that did not have a ramp. I walked the movers through our townhome and showed them everything that needed to be moved. However, it became very apparent that the movers had no experience in how to move out a house. They were unnecessarily wrapping things that didn't need to be wrapped, and did not know how to move a mattress as it took around 30 minutes to get it down 2 normal flights of stairs. It wasn't until hour 2 of 6 of moving out that the third mover showed up. They spent a total of 6 hours trying to move our well packaged and organized items out of the townhome. I spoke with Michael Dunne who asked me what is going on and why is it taking so long to move out. I explained that the movers were disorganized and lost with this move out process, and that the truck did not have a ramp. One of the movers came back to me and said that they couldn't take half of the items I showed them because it was 'not on the list' - the estimate list that I read out over the phone while travelling. We were 5 hours into this move out process that should've taken no more than 1.5-2 hours with any other company. They also claimed the truck was 'full' even though nothing was stacked. I also had to help them move some of the bigger items into the truck myself. 6 hours into the move, Michael Dunne called one of the workers and said they had to move onto the destination right up the street and start unloading. Extremely frustrated at this point, I agreed to move on and we'll come back for the other items ourselves - Michael Dunne got me to schedule another pickup in a few days, during which a $100 deposit was made. When we arrived at the unloading destination, the movers were instructed not to open the cargo door until a full payment of $2081 was made, PRIOR to unloading the items. This was around 2x what was quoted as they were charging for 'extra time' due to their inability to support a proper move-out. How do you know what to charge hourly if you haven't done the unloading process yet? They parked on a very busy street and not our driveway, despite me requesting the drivers to park in the driveway or even our front lawn. They refused, stating "we are not a traffic company, we are a moving company. F**k the traffic". Multiple items damaged, walls damaged, it took until 9:30pm (9.5 total hours) to have 75% of our items moved out of our townhome that we can still see out of the window from our new house. It took multiple emails and phone calls to cancel the follow up move and receive my $100 deposit back. We booked them 6 weeks before our planned moving date. I did all the paperwork for them, being honest that we had lots of boxes. The morning of our confirmed date they called to say a truck broke down and we would not be moved that day but 2 days later on Monday. I was promised a 'significant discount' for our trouble. Monday came and they were disorganized and complained about my boxes and bins and how many there were (I had warned the company of this). When they came to do the furniture, I was shocked at the volume of tape that was used. 12 rolls were billed to us. I honestly think they were taught to use as much as possible. I had provided my own blankets and large cellophane wrap myself. One of the workers was on his phone 50% of the time and the other griped about everything. Only the boss seemed to be working, but he rarely came in to get the others to work faster. When we left, I was surprised to find that a whole room of furniture was left behind by the movers, which we are now going to move ourselves. A newly purchased chair was broken as well. My husband had to let them use our dolly as they came with only 1 for 3 people to work. At 7 1/2 of the 8 hours we contracted for (because all moves are contracted at 8 hours) I was called saying they needed another 2 hours costing me another nearly $500! I had spent their exceedingly long unpacking time reading my contract, and no discount was included. When I made a fuss, I was told $100 was taken off. This was not good (and equaled 1/20 of our expense) I then was "given" the extra time for 'free'. Not surprisingly when they knew they weren't getting any more money, the move sped up and they were done by about 15 minutes past the original time. We received email confirmation of our booking for two men and a 26 foot truck (this will be important later) and were told that we would be contacted 1-3 days before the move with an estimated arrival time. When the men arrived we noticed that they had brought a 12 foot truck instead of the 26 foot truck that we had booked. We were told by the guys that they felt confident they could fit everything into the truck. We had a storage units worth of things to move including a king sized bed as well as some larger desks and furniture to move from the place we had been staying in. It became clear very quickly that the truck would not be large enough to fit everything into it. To the movers credit they managed to fit most of our belongings into the truck but you dont have to be a mathematician to know that most does not equal all. We were told that the movers would not be able to make two trips out of it and were charged $400 more than what we were initially quoted for an incomplete job. The movers contacted their supervisor for us and we were told despite having multiple email confirmations that we had booked a 26 foot truck that they only send out trucks based on estimate size. It was very clear that the supervisor had absolutely zero intentions of doing right by us and the price stayed at $400 more than the quoted price. Again for an incomplete job. The cherry on top was being told by the salesman the movers would assemble the bed for us and having them tell us that they did not bring tools to do so and that they never do that. So to summarize not only do we now still have to find a way to finish the moving job for the things left behind in the house but we also paid over $1600 for an incomplete job where we were assured we would not have to lift a finger aside from the process of unpacking. This was one of the most chaotic and unprofessional moves I've ever experienced. The crew showed up unprepared -- they had to go to Target just to get tools. One of the movers had a hernia and quit on the spot. He later came back but didn't lift or do anything. A replacement arrived and immediately commented on how poorly the truck had been packed. They ran out of blankets because they had no plan, didn't know how to properly wrap items, and underestimated how many were needed. The replacement noted it had not been done correctly. Kitchen packing was included in my move package. The only mover who seemed to know how to pack a kitchen walked out halfway through the move. He said he would finish before he left -- but he didn't. I ended up packing half the kitchen myself just to keep things moving. They didn't know how to disassemble major furniture -- including my bed -- so they left several items behind. One piece of furniture was even crushed during the move and they asked me not to file a claim. Despite all of this, they quoted me a fixed price and said they would return the next day to finish. But then they changed the deal and demanded more money, blaming delays that were clearly due to their own mistakes and poor planning. They never finished the move. I feel completely extorted. Absolutely Horrible Experience - Avoid at All Costs I booked two trucks and four movers with All My Sons well in advance, and even confirmed everything three days before the move. On moving day, they showed up with only one truck. This completely derailed the schedule and caused the move to take 10 hours instead of the estimated 6, because they had to make multiple trips. Despite all our boxes being clearly labeled, the movers tossed them into random rooms with no regard for where anything was supposed to go. My husband and I had to spend another 5 hours after they left just reorganizing and moving everything ourselves. They also broke a $1,000 bookshelf, and I had purchased the extra insurance. It's been over a month, and I've received no response--no follow-up, no apology, no reimbursement. Just complete silence. To top it off, the movers were smoking weed in the bathroom of our old home--a home we were in the process of selling. Completely unprofessional and could have seriously jeopardized the sale. By the end of the move, the crew got so lazy and disengaged that my husband had to start unloading the truck himself just to get it done. I've told this story to four different people at their corporate office, and not a single one seemed to care. No accountability, no resolution, just a complete lack of customer service. These guys are scammers! CHARGED US DOUBLE and THEY CALLED POLICE ON US AND THEIR MOVERS. BE AWARE of the them. They gave us a quote of r $1700 after a 20-minute call and checking everything. On the day of moving, they sent two people instead of three (they stole from us and send the extra man to another neighbor of us in the building). So, instead of 5-6 hours, it took them 11 hours!!!!!!!!! And they charged us for 11 hours instead of actual time it was supposed to take. We almost had to do all of the packing ourselves and the two guys were just taking break to smoke outside. When they moved everything to our new place, the manager called and gave us the $2700 bill and demanded to get paid on the spot!!! We checked the bill and realized that these scammers put a false start and end time to steal even more from us. So I declined paying. After a couple of minutes of discussion with my wife we decided to pay, and we paid the amount. AT THAT POINT, THE MANAGER HAD ALREADY CALLED 911 ON US AND ORDERED THE MOVERS TO GET BACK TO OFFICE! So, we paid the crazy bill, and the manager called police on us and didn't bother to inform us. Funny thing was that one of the movers completely disappeared during the police visit, god knows what he was hiding for. When police arrived, they realized that the call was fake and made a report and left. We noticed that a table is missing and they told us it was probably left in our previous home. But we checked the security cameras, and we saw the movers had broke the table and then tried to quietly hide it in our garage! During the move, they broke two tables and our big couch and then offered to pay a few cents per pound for all the damages (they worth around $1200 and they offered around $200). They send us a letter and asked to sign it before getting reimbursed, basically it was a gag order to not talk about the issues. I'd like to warn anyone against using All My Sons moving company in Pittsburgh. I had a horrific experience and no one will call me back to make this right. Estimate: Grossly underestimated on the phone. My move was quoted at 5 hours and I was billed for 7.75, resulting in several hundred dollars in difference from what I was expecting to pay vs what I paid. I recommend not using a company that does not do in person quotes. I am owed a refund and did not receive it yet because they finished before the charged time. This is because my husband and I started moving things from the truck, running boxes and unwrapped every piece of furniture to get them out of my house. Movers: one was not physically able to move my belongings, one was not trained and one was vaping in my home. Someone was smoking marijuana throughout the day and kept opening my screen to exhale their smoke. I closed the screen and window three times. I kept asking who was in charge of the crew and they told me "no one". They complained the entire day that my furniture was heavy and that they were all injured or dehydrated. Belongings: my items are damaged. They were treated with no care whatsoever. They did not wrap any furniture items well and dragged my furniture on the tile and concrete. My real wood furniture had packing tape applied *directly* to the wood finish, on the entire length and height of the dressers, they are now covered in adhesive, in addition to having the sides damaged. Home: my home is damaged. They put a hole in my new carpet, my doorway casing was destroyed and every wall leaving my house is covered in scuffs, gouges and scratches. The transition strips have pieces taken out of them, the floors are scratched and even the tile had streaks of paint on it from where they dragged my buffet. They also bent my sliding glass door track so I could not secure my door. Truck: they did not pack the truck efficiently, so not all of my belongings fit. I moved from a two bed townhome there is no reason for that truck to be "full". Also, they drove the truck through the mud in attempt to park it in the front of my house and got it stuck during my move. It was stuck for nearly 3 hours. A tow truck had to be called to remove it from the community grass areas - which are heavily turfed and damaged. I am now responsible for that damage according to the HOA. Their claims department said that I should hire a landscaper then submit the claim to their corporate office. Also, the movers did not alert their home office to the time they already spent trying to get the truck out of the mud before they called them, so I was charged for that time. They did pause the clock eventually, but it was not when the truck actually got stuck. This added significant time to our long moving day, no compensation was offered for their error. Once again- no one from All My Sons will call me back. I spoke to multiple men in their operations dept the day of the move who all promised to get back to me- it's Friday and no one has said one word. This was the worst moving experience of my life. Find someone who is experienced and gives you real numbers up front and professional movers in your home to take care of your things. I wish I never hired them. read more

I had a good experience with All My Sons & especially our movers, Alex & Matt. The company is very communicative during the booking process and the week of the move. Alex and Matt were great movers and moved all of our furniture items in a timely matter. They packed everything great and nothing was damaged during the move. The only "problem" we had was our king bed was so large to move up our new stairs that the railing (actual railing was taken off) hinges were broken off in the process. This wasn't their fault as there was no other way to get the mattress upstairs. We were happy with the pricing and would definitely use them again. read more

Using All My Sons Moving was a nightmare from start to finish. I rarely post reviews but this company is such a mess that I needed to let people know my experience. It started the morning of the move when only 1 truck arrived, when my contract clearly stated 2, and the price I was paying reflected that. We called the local Pittsburgh office and the manager (John) was extremely rude to us and claimed that he tried calling to tell us of the change, but that never happened. The job was quoted to be around 5-6 hours but ended up taking 10 because a second trip was needed with the 1 truck we were provided. We were paying hourly and this led to over $1000 in additional cost. The manager (John) instructed the workers to hold our belongings hostage on the truck when they arrived to unload at our new house. We were in discussion at the time with All My Sons corporate trying to fix the price but John wouldnt allow the workers to unload the truck without us paying first. This led to additional time accrued while we worked to get the price fixed and the workers sat there doing nothing while we went back and forth with the company. The workers themselves at the start of the day were very apologetic and helpful, but their attitude soon deteriorated when they learned that their manager wasn't providing any additional trucks. They were lackadaisical (including smoking weed in my bathroom) and by the end downright useless. I spent the final two hours pulling things off the truck myself. They put boxes clearly marked with rooms into whatever place was easiest for them to offload (i.e. a circular saw in my kitchen?). I spent hours the next day putting boxes into the rooms they were supposed to go. Lastly, multiple items were damaged in the move. Some were a result of regular moving mishaps (scrapes, dents, etc) and we accepted that. Unfortunately, we had a very expensive bookshelf get jostled around so badly that it completely fell apart when we unwrapped it. The workers left it wrapped probably because they knew the plastic wrap was the only thing holding it together after they mishandled it. We had purchased the additional insurance coverage and made a claim, only for it to get denied due to some small print that held them not liable due to the type of wood the shelves were made of. Always read the small print folks, especially when it's written by con artists. Please learn from my misery and avoid this company. It is an absolute scam and they added undue stress on top of an already stressful time. read more

We used this company just about a year ago and when I look at the reviews on this site I am not surprised they settle out at 1 1/2 stars. Amazing how the 1 star reviews dominate the site. I don't think that is a fluke. For a company like this you should have the option to go negative stars. While the 3 men that actually did our move were courteous enough, they by no means showed any inclination to move quickly and efficiently. That was the least of our issue. By hiding by some regulations that they do not share with you ahead of time, when things were all said and done, we ended up with a charge almost 3x what the quote was. Nothing different happened than what we agreed to up front. You don't pay...they threaten to hold your truck hostage. They would really have to work at it to be a less reputable company. Absolutely awful experience. We booked movers for 10:00 AM with the understanding we had them for the full day, paid hourly. They didn't show up until 4:00 PM, then told us at 8:00 PM they couldn't finish and would have to return the next day. All our furniture, clothes, and baby supplies for our 4-month-old were packed away, leaving us completely stranded. The manager promised 3 movers for the price of 2 and free boxes to make up for it-but the next day, only 2 movers showed up an hour late and took over 9 hours to still not finish the job. Boxes full of items left in places they didn't go (primary bedroom clothes left in the garage, kitchen table never made it to the kitchen, treadmill never made it to the gym, etc) and the old house still had items left inside that were meant to be moved. Some items arrived damaged. A plastic cup was wrapped in large moving paper 15 times but knives were thrown haphazardly in a box. No discount, no apology, just clear mismanagement and overbooking for profit. The workers were nice and tried their best but were clearly understaffed for the job. Chose this company due to the assurance that we would be given two qualified and capable movers with a 26 foot truck and with a dolly (just assumed it would be a working dolly) to help move my kids. They charge an hourly rate, so having one guy and a quarter without a working dolly and 20 foot truck, smaller than promised, caused this job to take far longer than quoted. Being very dissatisfied, I contacted the general manager only to be told that their rates were set by the Pennsylvania Utility Commission and if I had a complaint I could call them, which, by the way, does nothing to adjust the $1800, quoted originally at $800. They took $180 off and said they couldn't do more; I say they wouldn't do more. When asked what motivation does All My Sons have to send capable people/equipment, they had no answer. We were scammed. We used this company recently for a move from our two bedroom loft in downtown Pittsburgh to a townhouse in Lawrenceville. Overall we had a very negative experience. We had been planning the move with them for weeks. Leading up to the day, we were very straight forward about how much stuff we had and the difficult items we had. In our opinion, this move should've taken 4 hours. It took almost 7. 1. We paid for three movers at $239/hour. Many times throughout the day, one of the guys frequently was standing around on his phone. One of the other guys wouldn't stop complaining. Frequently the two guys I just mentioned were doing the work of one person - such as moving items on dolly to a truck - does that really require two men? We paid for three people, but after considering the poor work ethic of one of them and the fact that two people were sometimes doing the work of one, we really only got 1.5 people. 2. They damaged several pieces of our furniture. And didn't come with enough supplies to protect all of our furniture. (We ended up having to use our own blankets to protect our headboard). See photos provided. There were multiple scratches made to expensive wooden pieces, and giant holes ripped in the bottom of our mattress. 3. My husband called the company in the middle of the move to see if they could have a word with their crew, because at that point we were pretty unhappy. Asked if he could have them please pick up the pace because we were paying by the hour, and it was taking longer than expected (see note 1 about paying for three people but only getting one and a half due to playing around on phone and doing inefficient work). The response from the company was that we had "unrealistic expectations" and they didn't help us at all. So according to this company, expecting to get three peoples amount of work done when you paid three people is unrealistic. Expecting people you are paying hourly to not be on their phones is unrealistic. Expecting people you are paying to be professional and not complain incessantly is unrealistic. They made no attempt what so ever to make things right. 4. By the end of the day, even the crew lead was visibly annoyed by his crew. He was a hustler and the only reason this review is getting 2 stars instead of 1. 5. Forgot to mention the couch. We have a three person seater with a sleeper couch. We warned them ahead of time that this would be the hardest piece to move. Two of the guys tried for about a half hour to get it out the front door before my husband had to go and show them how to do everything. Then they proceeded for an hour after that trying to get the couch into the elevator. We told them it wasn't going to fit and they would have to take the stairs (When we moved into our place 2 years ago, movers took it UP the stairs no problem, very quickly. We are only on the third floor). They repeatedly said "yeah, we're not doing that" and proceeded to complain and take more and more time that WE were paying for. Eventually they had to take the stairs, of course. So it effectively took them 1.5 hours to do something that took a different company (the one that helped us move in) less than a half hour. Overall they started at 8am and ended at 2:45 pm. We paid over $2,000, for a job that took way longer than it needed to. We paid for three men and didn't get the power of three men. We have damaged furniture. And despite all of this, we were told that we had unrealistic expectations and they were happy to take our money. We felt scammed and wouldn't use this company again. We had an absolutely awful experience. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!! We were first quoted 9 hours and that was with them packing out stuff. We had 90% boxed up so assumed it would be less. Then they came and had 5 people and 2 trucks. Pretty much it was 3 workers because I watch 2 sit in the truck and move a box from side to side. One worker took one board game at a time from the truck to the house...as they were in a box. So our total time with my husband and I moving stuff ourselves as well once they got to our new house was 12 hours at well over $300 an hour!! They said at 330 they had 10 minutes left yet when I drove past the old house at 415 to check they were just leaving. I lost MULTIPLE pieces of jewelry which was in a jewelry box and the table it was in was wrapped up. So either the workers opened my jewelry box or they mishandled our furniture so much that it broke open for me to find half multiple sets of earrings on our sidewalk. They also broke my elliptical which I saw the worker pick up by the moving legs and said "please do not do that, pick it up from the bottom that is stable" they argued with me and I said to just leave it if they are going to break it. And not the legs are not in alignment and the back cover is cracked off. They also put a huge gouge in our brand new built front door. This along with my elliptical and earrings were put on a claim. They are stating all of this is worth $129! We did not put on the claim all the scratches in the pain. A large ding out of our stairway wall, and a huge scratch in the vinyl flooring that is supposed to to be extremely sturdy. If you like burning money then this may be the company for you. SCAM SCAM SCAM. I've used moving companies 8 times (military service) and this one has to be the worst example I've ever had the displeasure of paying for. I moved 30 miles with this company and they charged me more than the company that moved my stuff from Hawaii to Pennsylvania! I can't even blame the people who did the work, all management issues. Was quoted a rate which increased the day of the move. A mover was literally laid off while he was at my house... a job which in the past took less than 4 hours took a total of 10. they took so long they didn't even move all my belongings. We had SO much damage in our local (2 doors down)commercial office move. Metal cabinets were scraped across the cement sidewalk, floors were scratched, doorframes were gouged, cabinets were banged up, desk corners were dented. The driver complained that his workers were new. One female smelled very strongly of weed and didn't seem capable of lifting office furniture. No one followed up when I called to express our concern as the move was happening. We purchased insurance and submitted a claim, but they gave us a "final" low ball offer that didn't cover the extent of the damage. Months later and we still don't even have that money. My emails go unanswered. Terrible customer service. Terrible hiring practices. I DO NOT recommend All My Sons moving company. read more

If you enjoy getting ripped off, these guys are for you. They are the perfect scam. FOR YOUR OWN SAKE, PLEASE READ THE ONE-STAR REVIEWS HERE AND ON FACEBOOK... THE SAME SCAM DONE OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN. I'm talking about the Pittsburgh, PA franchise, but I can only assume these are common practices for all franchisees. 1. They'll give you a quote without coming to your home that's very good. You can't resist. In the case of my elderly cousin, 2 men for three hours to move from a 500 sq ft space about 8 miles up the road. $700 quote! 2. When they arrive there's a third man (so the hourly rate just increased by 50%) and after loading a few things, suddenly it will take longer... the new quote is $2000... THREE TIMES THE ORIGINAL. As I said, if you enjoy getting ripped these guys are for you! 3. Of course, my elderly cousin is at wit's end... she doesn't have that kind of money, she needs to move. She calls Gary, who basically says, "tough luck!" She has to give the men $800 to deliver what's already on the truck (1/3 of the load). She gives them the money, they leave and she breaks down in tears. No money left, no way to find new movers, no recourse. Good grief, I wish I had read these reviews before booking with All My Sons. Part of our challenge was finding a moving company at the last minute. AMS had availability for the day we needed. I see most reviews talk about leaving folks hanging and not showing up. They showed up; they just took about double the time than quoted. Then had the audacity to request another payment for the extra 45min which amounted to $134.25. This is especially interesting because as I was returning from the store, one of the movers was leaned against the railing on their phone. While moving our stuff out, one of the movers almost knocked our tv stand off the stand and probably would've had I not been there. Now, we're unwrapping our stuff. Some of it is damaged despite being "wrapped and protected" by them. Sorry, but I don't recommend this moving company at all. read more

Update to my last review. When I canceled the order (Feb 27th) the cancelation request wasn't put in. I called March 4th to ask for the status. That's when I was informed that the request wasn't put in. The request was placed again on the 4th. I asked for email confirmation that the cancelation request was made. I was told that I would get a email. After a couple of hrs, no email. I called back. I was told the system was down and a email will be sent. The email was sent. I received my refund on the 6th. I froze my card for added protection. Just sketchy, but I did get my refund after persistent calls. Use at your own risk. Hopefully they'll get the kinks worked out. read more

My partner and I both scheduled separate moves and put down deposits with them at least a month in advance. I was originally scheduled for Saturday but they had called the week before and told me they over booked so they needed people to move days. Eventually I rescheduled for a day earlier to combine my move with my partner. She was told to expect movers at 0800 Friday morning. Around 1000 she had not heard from anyone so she called them and they said that no one should have given a time estimate because that's not how they work because "if they gave a time they would always be late". They did mention we were scheduled second and the first move would take 4-6 hours. Around 2 she called again and they said that crews were wrapping up and we should hear soon. Around 230 the company called us back and told us they were unable to complete our moves at all and we would have to reschedule for the next week. They said that it would be "against protocol" for the crews to keep working and there was nothing they could do as their "hands were tied". As working professionals we made arrangements for the scheduled day. We also put deposits down for the scheduled day AND I made arrangements to accommodate their overbooking in the first place. It was not feasible to move days again and take another day off of work for them to possibly again fail to show up. This was an extremely unprofessional, frustrating , and disappointing experience and I would recommend avoiding this company at all costs. read more

Never ever ever use this service. I would rather break both my legs than go through this process again. They cancelled on us once. They said the truck broke down. Honestly, I understand one day, that is completely fine. They rescheduled for FIVE days later and never confirmed the day before. We called them twice and after waiting for 1.5 hrs on hold both times, we got our move confirmed. We waited all day until 5pm for them to call us and tell us they were coming. They never came, and then they cancelled at 6 in the evening. They rescheduled again for FOUR days later. In this time, we moved everything we could fit in our cars and carry up and down stairs. We only had about two beds, two dressers (one without drawers), a couch, a desk, an office chair, and a set of bakery shelves. On the day that they actually came, they said that they would come at 2:30pm. That didn't happen. I called at 3pm, wondering where they were. They called us at 3:15pm and told us they were coming in 30 minutes. They did not arrive in 30 minutes. They finally arrived at 4:45pm and got our move started. They barely had to move anything, as we had already moved most of our stuff already. However, only one guy was moving the stuff. We asked if we could help, and our help was refused. They took from 4:45 - 9:30pm to do everything, and that is only because I forced them to let me help so we can pay less money. We should have done it ourselves. They took my bed apart, down to the spokes and took out all the screws. They did not have to do that. They could've just carried it down if they were working together, but they were not working together. Not only that, but I found about 4 screws on the floor that they took out but never put back in. Who knows where they came from, and if it is even safe to sleep on. They also left my furniture all over the street and in the walkways so that no one in the apartment building could go in or out. They parked their truck in the middle of the one-way street so that no one could drive past, then took hours upon hours to move. I am appalled at not only how unprofessional this management is after being on hold for so long and getting cancelled on twice, but also at how long they took. I assumed this move would take 3 hours MAX for the amount of furniture they had to move. The price tag was insane, more than three times what the quote was because it took so long, and definitely not worth it. I will never use any movers again because of this experience, and I suggest you find a different way as well (or a different company, maybe it'll be better elsewhere). My wife, son, and 2 dogs and I moved across town, and we were lucky to have All My Sons facilitate our moving process. They were ultra efficient and fast and did an amazing job. It was honestly awesome to see how well their team worked together, it was like a well oiled machine. They communicated very well and made sure they put everything where we needed it. They made what usually is a stressful event, into something seamless that my wife and I didn't have to worry about a thing. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is moving, they were fantastic. Don't EVER use this company for your move. They will bait and switch you, you won't get the crew you were promised, and your belongings will get destroyed in the move. My belongings were just dumped in the garage of my new home and left in a pile. The crew took so many breaks it was unbelievable. The quality of the work was poor and the company sucks. They suck. Let me say this one more time- All My Son's Moving and Storage sucks. I called the company and there was "nothing they could do". This company sucks. WISH I COULD PUT MINUTS STARS!!! Most awful experience ever! Cancelled the day before my move. Offered to reschedule for 2 weeks later. Uumm..sure I will just live in the street for 2 weeks. Gave name of 2 other moving companies for me to call. Guaranteed me they would help. .nope they do not service my area. One company they suggest only does long distance moves, when I called back to state this they basically told me I was lying as both those companies do service my area...wrong! in conversation with my neighbor, found out they did the exact same thing to her the night before her move..with same excuse..truck broke down. As a moving company if your truck breaks down..rent another one. Cost me double to move as I had to book someone last minute, money I do not have to spend, but have not choice. read more
