Purchased a patio BBQ smoker, about 15 miles from our house. About 500+ lbs of metal - a bit much for me and the Hop Queen to rassle with (wrestle seems to high brow for BBQ). Contacted 7-8 moving companies without much success - most places charged a minimum time (2-3hours, 3 employees), which would have been almost as much as we paid for the used smoker, or they wouldn't fool with a single item. Casey got the description (and pic), checked with the boss, and had a reasonable fee w/ next day service for the move, all arranged while I was on the phone. I have used these folks three times in 2 years to move me. The first two times it was the same guys who came out and everything was phenomenal. From the communication, to the actual moving, their professionalism, everything. Which is why I immediately called them to move me this last time. However, I don't think I'll be using them again in the future. I called on Tuesday mid afternoon to schedule for the following Saturday. They told me no problem and got it set up for 12:30, Saturday afternoon on the 30th. I tell her I want to move by the hour. She tells me they have a two hour minimum I tell her that's fine, I also have a couch I need moved into the new house from the old house. She says ok, notes it, and tells me it'll be $300. Well I had taken a break to eat lunch on Friday and I get a call from one of the movers telling me he's at my gate to move me. I explained that they were supposed to be there the following day and called the office to make sure they were still coming tomorrow. She said she got her wires crossed and apologized and assured me they'd be there at 12:30 the next day. Around 11:30 on Saturday, one of the movers calls me again and says the client they're currently with has more stuff than they thought so they're going to be about 30 minutes late. No problem, that buys me more time to make sure everything is good to go. 1pm comes and goes and around 1:30 I send a text to check on the status because I haven't heard anything. He tells me they're waiting on this client to pay. 2 pm comes and goes and then so does 2:30. I text again for an update because I haven't heard anything.he's telling me they have to follow this lady to a gas station to get a money order for her to pay. I tell them that I'm not too concerned about it because they're always really good. They finally got to my house at 3pm, 2 1/2 hours late. They were pretty good and fast but I also had everything already in one room for them. They drop off the couch, we go to my storage unit. By this time it's 4:30. They tell me there's a $50 extra stop fee that no one told me about and even though it took them an hour and a half, there's still a two hour minimum. When she called to get payment, I sort of let her know I was pretty annoyed. She apologized and said that she knows it's annoying but it's not their fault they were late. It's not my fault either.Then when the movers were leaving, they wound up hitting the gate of my storage facility. They got out and looked, and then left. The owner of the facility text me about this but saw me leave ahead of them so he didn't blame me. He said he was going to call the company to discuss. So the fact that they were 2 1/2 hours late and tacked on a $50 fee that I didn't know about ahead of time, hit the gate, and all of the other things, I don't know that I'm willing to use them again. Update as of 12/16/24. I called them last week in response to their request to make it right and no one answered the phone. I left a voicemail stating my name, what I was calling about, and my number and no one called back. Unless or until they make some portion of this right, I will continue to leave this review up. What's really sad is the owner of my storage facility asked if I would recommend them to partner with so he would recommend them and they him, etc. I told him that prior to this experience I would have said yes but not after this time. read more

Hired these guys on a Saturday to show up at 2 pm in the afternoon. To them not showing up at all. They say they would compensate and come the next day at 9 am in the morning on Sunday and give a discount. Show up an hour late and no discount. Said they would send 3 guys. 2 show up. I had given up on finding a decent price to get my stuff moved from Austin into my new house in Temple. I decided to rent a moving truck and just pay movers in Austin to load it, then pay movers in Temple to unload it. I called All of Texas Moving on Tuesday to get a quote for unload-only services and I mentioned I had been looking for full-service moving and couldn't find a decent price. Kaci explained that All of Texas Moving has a different pricing model that's based on the items to be moved instead of hourly minimums plus huge travel fees. All in, my price with All of Texas Moving - including them driving to Austin to pick up my stuff just to turn around and bring it to Temple - was significantly lower than any of the quotes I got from moving companies in Austin. No hidden fees, no hourly minimums, no travel costs - just a flat rate based on the items I needed to move. The guys showed promptly at 8am Friday morning and had everything loaded up and ready to go by 8:45. They arrived at my new house before I did and were already unloading the truck when I got there. Everything was done by 11am, and the price I paid was exactly the price Kaci had quoted. I highly recommend All of Texas Moving. Unlike the big corporate chains, their prices are fair and transparent, and it feels good to support a local, family-owned business. We moved from Copperas Cove, Texas to Caddo Mills last September and we hired "All of Texas Moving" to pack us out, store our property and then deliver it to us at our new home in Caddo Mills last November. We paid the contract in full upon delivery of our property. As requested, if we noticed damages, to make a list and there would be an insurance settlement through All of Texas. The Friday before our property was to be delivered, I received a phone call from the office manager Kaci stating that the warehouse that held our property had been broken into and all of the flat screen televisions we had were stolen, but not to worry the person that had broken in had already been arrested and was in jail and All of Texas moving would replace the televisions. Only took 3 months before all televisions were finally replaced. In the meantime, we complied our damaged/missing property lists. I even went as far as to find pictures on the internet of replacement items that matched what was damaged or missing. Kaci, the manager of All of Texas Moving informed us that all shipments were insured up to 5000.00, this amount is even mentioned in their contracts, now here is where I became really and truly dissatisfied with All of Texas Moving, instead of paying for damages and missing items by the items that were listed price-wise, I was informed that All of Texas Moving would indeed honor my insurance claim and reimburse my losses by WEIGHT and not the items listed. All of my tools, and there was a considerable amount in my rolling toolbox, were missing, a vintage antique Victrola phonograph that I had restored was damaged. The Victor Victrola phonograph was valued at 1500.00 alone. The tools I listed and provided pictures of were valued at almost 1000.00. I mentioned this to Kaci after having sent numerous pictures of damaged or missing items and I was informed that they (All of Texas Moving) would reimburse me by WEIGHT for damaged or missing property? Nope. It has been 9 months, and I have called numerous times and sent numerous emails to no avail. My phone has been blocked as has my wife's phone. Use them if you wish but be warned, if you experience damaged or missing property you may NEVER be reimbursed the actual costs of damages, I would NOT suggest or recommend All of Texas Moving to ANYONE else simply because they do NOT own up to their responsibility in customer satisfaction. read more

I regret using All of Texas moving company. At this point, they have given me the runaround for over a year now to avoid paying for damages caused by the move. I called and emailed multiple times a month trying to get this process finished. I moved in August of 2022. Two weeks after the move, I let them know we'd finished unpacking and had a damaged piece of furniture and a broken floor tile caused by the movers. After no response for over a month, I emailed again asking for an update. A couple weeks later, I was able to get someone on the phone. For the damaged furniture, she said they sent out a check. After a couple weeks, I called back to get an update. She said they would send out another check. She offered to take a picture of the envelope to confirm the address and mailing. Again, no picture and no check. I called again, and she acted surprised that I had not received the check. This time, she offered to send cash. This made no sense to me because if you have an issue with mail getting lost, why would you send cash then? At least the checks were not being cashed. No surprise. I did not receive any cash in the mail. I called back and she offered to send another check. For the damaged floor tile, they offered to hire someone to come fix the tile instead of paying me so I could hire someone. I was fine with that. Weeks later, they wanted to have one of their movers come repair it for me. Weeks after that, they changed their mind and were going to hire someone to come and repair it. On and on... I'm not sure if this moving company is actually insured. If they are, then they likely pocketed whatever money they received from filing my claim. Or, they just take years to reimburse damages but at this point, I've given up. read more

The movers were ok, the packer appeared to be problem solver. They dropped to two items. The inventory was was basic, suggest you pack or take photos of all your high dollar items. They will repair what's broken and the svc for that was great. They will buy your boxes back however; you don't know when you get paid I been waiting 3 days now. Was told when ever the owner comes in and there was no solid answer for that. So I wait, however; as a customer that has paid there should be a better system in place. I recently hired All of Texas Moving to pack up the house I was selling and move everything to my new house. They came the first day with a full crew and had the house packed and prepped to move in 4 hours! The second day they showed up with a full crew again, and had me completely moved in 4 hours. Each employee was super courteous, respectful and careful with my belongings. I would definitely recommend using this company to help you move. read more

TL;DR: We watched them drop furniture, they sent a furniture repairman who worked for less than an hour and left the furniture in bad shape. Do not recommend! Update:We used AOT to move furniture and boxes into a storage unit then into a new home a month later. Aside from the damage to a bed side table we watched fall off the back of the truck, I cannot say for certain when the damage occurred. We reported the damage to Beverly who scheduled a furniture repairman for the next week. He may be "the best in the business", but it would be impossible for anyone to spend less than 60 minutes repairing dropped furniture to an acceptable condition. When we reported back that the repairs were not acceptable, we were told they were sorry we thought so, the repairman is "the absolute best in Central Texas," and he reported back that some of the damage was older. This is not the response you would expect from a respectful communication that the damage was not repaired to our satisfaction. read more

The Good: -Well organized and relatively quick -Available on short notice -Fairly quick responsiveness to online quote request The Bad: -Agreed to arrival time, took security deposit then advised would be a window of time. -Arrived an hour early The Ugly: -Older mover was rude and in the words off Bocephus needs an Attitude Adjustment -Beware if you get a quote based off inventory; if you forget a few items they will price gouge. I forgot 3 small items and they tacked on another 30 bucks. So we opted for hourly which was still pricey. -Rude mover dude wasn't polite at all and had audacity to arrive unempatheticly early and less than 30 minutes after arrival ask me for a bottled water. I obliged out of human decency but I wouldn't have minded if he wasn't a jerk to my wife and I and his coworker. -The agreement was they were going to disconnect and reconnect everything on washer and dryer except reconnection of hot and cold water for liability reasons. Upon arrival to new place Grumpy mover copped an attitude and refused to connect anything except the vent duct and half hazardly connected hot and cold connections. Ole boy kept saying "I ain't an electrician." I expressed disdain at being misinformed and rebutted with their rates being expensive. His nonsense reply was "We're moving as fast as we can" to which I replied time not being the issue. -The grumpy old mover backed the truck into a mature tree and damaged a tree limb. His partner oddly placed it on neighbors curb. No offer of compensation or cleanup off mess left in driveway just a shrug of the shoulders and half baked apology and a corny joke. -We moved about 4 miles from one 3 bedroom to another. Took them 3.75 hours. Cost almost 500!! Comparable price to other companies including travel fees. -Would I recommend? If nobody else is available. - Bottom line: they'll get the job down on short notice at a higher price point than necessary for a basic local move and with an attitude. They damage trees or other property without offering compensation. Other movers also connect washer and dryer and don't leave a paying customer out to dry. If you have time to think outside the moving box and to research your move ahead of time you might be better off if a different company is available. read more

I'm not normally one to review but Beverly and the whole crew at All of Texas Moving did a quick, professional, and very short-notice move for me this week when military plans changed suddenly. Beverly answered every call I made promptly and politely and accommoded all my needs, following up with clear and detailed emails with every turn. Tim and Bobby came out to do the heavy lifting and were both very personable, helpful, and flexible. They moved quickly and made every effort to protect my property and valuables, even taking apart a bed frame and unhooking and draining my washer/dryer. The company charges by the hour and were eager to get everything loaded/unloaded and on their way despite the hourly rate---which is comparable if not better than similar companies in the area. I would recommend All of Texas Moving to anyone in the Temple area based off the experience I had this week. They took a lot of the stress out of my move. read more

This was the worst packing job I have ever experienced and I have moved over 10 times in my adult life. Not only did the guys rush the job to get to another appointment, which lead to multiple items being damaged in transit but they also told me they couldn't fit everything in the trailer and I've had to rent a storage facility until I can move the rest of my belongings to my new home across multiple states. I can assure you the trailer I had rented was not full and the final items packed were put in haphazardly so they could move on to the next job. I am also disappointed that my inquiry for damage compensation has never been answered and I included multiple photos to back up my claim. I believe it would also be fair for this firm to compensate me for the storage fees I am being forced to pay until I can arrange for the move of my remaining items. read more

I got quotes from 3 other companies and AOT had the best price and they included assebly and dissassembly of furniture, where some of the other companies did not. The guys were professional and fast. the men who moved my mothers things into a home were fast and efficient and did a great job getting her furniture there. they placed her furniture in the right places so when we went to the place she is now living it looked so good and gave me a feeling of relief and joy. I'm grateful for how well they did this job. however,, I need to contact them about the charge. it was not far away at all and there were only 4 items to be transported and I was told I would be charged the mimimum. I had a deposit already paid for $100 and I was charged $150. I don't think the minimum was $250. I think that this is just a mistake. read more

I moved 12/17/18 from a 2 bedroom apartment to a home, as well as a storage unit. I had called a few companies before I found All of Texas Moving. They quoted me from a minimum of $675.00 to over a $1000.00. This for a move that was less than a mile of travel, I did not move any bedroom furniture or appliances, and the 10x10 storage was only half-full. Then I found All of Texas Moving and called. I spoke to Ms. Beverly, who was lovely, and walked through everything I would be moving and the costs of my move. I was sent a detailed quote, and then when I agreed to a date and time they sent my full contract via email. I ended up only paying around $400.00. The two guys who moved me showed up when they informed me they would, and quickly and efficiently packed, loaded, and moved my belongings. They were very polite, friendly, competent, and I felt comfortable in their presence. They were careful with my belongings and unloaded my furniture and boxes where I wanted them. This is my first online review to ever write. Our family has moved nine times using small moving companies as well as major moving companies. I was so very impressed with every aspect of our move with All of Texas Moving. BEVERLY in the office was so friendly, professional, accommodating and assuring. She gave us an quick and easy estimate that proved to be true, we called her several times to add more services and ask questions. She was just amazing. Her experience and calming nature is truly genuine! Our movers, CLAYTON AND RIGGS , were the most pleasant, clean-cut, strong, experienced and smart movers we have ever encountered. Their positive attitude and adaptability were remarkable as we moved from a second story apartment at Temple to a high -rise, difficult elevator entry apartment in the middle of Houston Texas. There wasn't a task they could not EASILY do! They had no problem getting our huge, leather hide-a-bed out of the old apartment that the furniture store scraped the wall and broke a light fixture delivering! They made it look easy loading all of our belongings one elevator at a time hauling it through a parking garage and a very long hallway for each load. We were moving my daughter, who just graduated from medical school and she has ALOT of stuff! They moved 39 boxes of just books! I'm sure everyone is awesome at this moving company, but I can assure you that if you get CLAYTON and RIGGS you will get an amazing team! Everything made it without a scratch to Houston!
