I picked a one star review because there was no zero stars. I bought a brand new Honda lawnmower 3 years ago in May. August 22 the drive on it broke I paid $75 to fix it. The next year it made it till Sept and it broke again. This year it cost $110 to fix & they put in new blades which I didn't ask for. So a machine that cost $460 needed $260 in repairs in the first 3 years. When picking up the lawnmower i asked to speak to someone about it. The guy behind the counter said no one was there and they would give me a call. This is while i saw the owner of ALL Out Doors as he came out of his office and was walking thru the shop. They did call me ( Marissa) who explained there was grass under the lawnmower and this probably caused the lawn mower to break. Operator Error she called it .... Do Not Ever buy any Equipment from this place!!!!! They do not stand behind anything they sell. They will gladly take your money , but if something goes wrong its your tough luck for trusting them. read more

no stars! had to give one to post. I brought the STIHL backpack blower I bought here a few years ago, in for repair. I was told I had blown the mower by using the wrong gas and there was no way to fix it. "I's dead." I was asked if I wanted to keep it after buying a brand new one from them for $500.75. I said no. I changed my mind the next day, thinking maybe keep it for parts. I went to pick it up and they had, (unbeknownst at to me) changed out the fuel and it was (miraculously) running. Hmmm why didn't they try that while I was there. I believe because I'm a woman. They never let me know and were surprised when I showed out to get it. Finally, I was given the run around about returning the brand new one and then charged a $20.00 fee. read more

I took my $600 Stihl Chain Saw to be looked at because it was running poorly. They said it was not worth repairing, without ever saying why. I said I'd come and pick it up since I could always rebuild the engine. When I went back to get it a month later, they couldn't find it. It's gone. I never got it back. read more

I gave them one star because I had to in order to post this review. Do not go here if you need a repair of any kind. If you spend big money, they'll bend over backwards, but a repair requires a deposit. My husband went there on a friend's recommendation. He dropped off the chain saw blades on a Tuesday and was told they would be ready on Thursday. They were not ready on Thursday. He went back on Saturday and they were closing. He was told his blades weren't ready. As he was leaving, a man came around the corner of the building and started yelling and swearing at him. He showed him the claim ticket and asked for his deposit and blades back, the man told him that he wasn't getting anything back and to get the F*** off his property. I have lived in RI all my life, mainly in South County and I have never heard of such horrible customer service. read more

I've had 2 encounters with repair work, and there will be no more. I brought my chainsaw in for sharpening, and after it sitting there for 2 weeks I was called and told it couldn't be sharpened because the chain was too worn down. The previous saw I had I never replaced a chain after 6 or 7 sharpening. This was the 3rd sharpening on this saw. I then brought the same saw back to be sharpened the first time with this new chain, and was told it wasn't worth fixing because it didn't start. Funny, when I dropped it off it worked fine. They ALSO kept my $25 deposit even though zero work was performed. Bunch of hacks. read more

This place is a joke, we bought an 8000 gravely and in the first two weeks had to bring it back three times and they still didn't fix it. Had to bring it to another mechanic. I told them I bought it to save time and make money. Instead it was costing time and money. read more

As with every business YMMV (your mileage may vary) but my recent experience with this company was nothign short of 5-star all the way around. Briefly: Sunday 02/15 my snowblower failed (shear pins on both augers and the roll pins on the impeller). Monday, 02/16 called at 10:30 am and spoke to Doug (super-nice guy and very helpful) scheduled pickup for the next day. ten minutes later he called back as they could pick it up later that day (yes, same day I called!). Wednesday, 02/28 Jesse called me to let me know what work had been done and the total - all of which I found to be quite reasonable - and my snowblower was delivered back to my home later that day. Seriously? Within 48 hours? Picked up, fixed and returned. Wow. Impressed. Work was done well and the people I dealt with were friendly and professional. I had not had any previous experience with this company and don't know any of them other than my dealings with them for this transaction. They have however made a repeat customer out of me - the next time I need their services they will be the first and only place I call. Well done and thank you All Outdoors Power. read more

I recently visited All Outdoors Power Equipment to purchase a snow blower. I was last minute because the storm was coming within the next few days.(blizzard warning in fact) The informed me that the Ariens model I wanted was available. Price was no object at that point but they charged still me the sale price-Set up the unit for Free, Delivered it during the storm and I still paid less than a box store. They actually have real mechanics that went over the unit and explained everything I needed to know. Not like a box store that does not even know what they sell you nor back their products.. All outdoors even backs the product after the sale! I will not go anywhere else. Thanks for honest service , it is a pleasure to do business with local people. read more

Horrible customer service!!! Very expensive, markup is ridiculous. Shear pin $4.50, anywhere else - $1.00. Not to be trusted. Clowns in the back doing who knows what. Your profiled as soon as you walk in. In this situation, the big box stores look better. read more

Buyer beware. If you need a repair of any equipment, do not go here. You are required to put a deposit down to have them quote a repair cost. I had no problem with that. The cost of the repair was just shy of buying a new piece of equipment. The store called to explain that and stated that I could come down and use my deposit on a new piece of equipment purchased from them. At the store, we had to wait which was understandable. Trying to purchase the piece of equipment took forever. It is not that hard to read what the screen was asking for. 45 minutes later, I had had enough and one of the associates allowed for the use of the deposit but this one could not comprehend anything. I asked for my piece of equipment back and told the associate I was not interested in purchasing anything. The associate walked to the back and loud mouth about the situation. So unprofessional, rude and over the top. I have purchased more than 75% of my equipment from them. NEVER AGAIN! read more

WE had bought Husqvarna chain saw model 465 and returned to dealer to buy more H24 20" chains for our saw. I was now over charged a surcharge of 4% for making a Acc. purchase! When I questioned what the extra charge was for the owner got very upset and because I was using my credit card the owner accused me of stealing money from him! Although this purchase was for $89. in Husqvarna products I will NEVER be back to this dealer! **STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALER - THEY WILL SCREW YOU! read more

I was literally told that " the customer is always half right " and that I needed to spend a certain amount of money there in order to get proper consideration. BIG P.S.: The boss just called me and said he was now going to charge me $25 to get rid of the mower. He said I had flipped everybody off (I did NOT) and that I "had anger issues". Read on to decide for yourself. Original review follows... After years of satisfied business with this company, I am very sad to recount what happened to me today. I had hit a water main cover with my lawn mower and left it off to be fixed. They said they would call me within 1 to 1-1/2 wks. After 2 weeks, no call. I went in to pick it up. Young man at counter says, "No one called you to give you the bad news? The motor is gone. It will cost too much to repair." I was extremely saddened that my 2-year old lawn mower - that I had bought there - was dead. Knowing that I could do nothing with it, I asked if they could give me $20 or $25 to use it for parts. Seemingly sympathetic youth glances at the (my age, 60s-70), owner for guidance. Owner remains silent and grim. I leave, bummed out, telling them that no one even had the guts to call me. You know that mower did not just go in the trash. It occurs to me no work was done. I go back in and ask for my $25 deposit back. Redneck boss says, "It is a $25 deposit to look at the machine. We looked at it." I leave for good, thanking him for being so cordial. So that's a $300 mower I bought there 2 years ago. I also just bought a $350 mower from them last month for my daughter. The return business was because they had seemed to be nice. Even an offer for $25 towards a new mower would have probably ended with me buying a new $350 one ($325 instant business for them). But after this inability to bend a bit for a good customer, our future business is over. So everybody go ahead and take your chances. Will they bend for you or ask you to bend over? Horrible customer service. Spent time with me but when I decided not go go thru with the service repair and they charged me $25 for their time. Purchased my Chainsaw from them. They will not order parts as they said it takes too much time as they no longer carry that brand. It was a snapper mower. Snapper is listed by them on their home page along with other brands. Another unhappy customer...I too did not want to give them any stars, but had to in order to write the review. Owner is abusive and a liar. We brought in a Husquavana lawn mower that was new in June, because it would not start. We brought it in to find out what was wrong and if it was covered under the warranty. We did not authorize any work to be done as this lawnmower was not misused and should not have broken. When I called to find out what was going on I was told that the lawnmower came from the factory with the wrong part installed and that it was covered under the warranty. A couple of days later All Outdoors Power Equipment called an said it was not covered under the warranty. When I asked why I was told that it was a factory defect and would be covered they denied ever telling me it was a factory defect. Then the owner called me back and starts yelling at me. I told him to stop yelling at me I was the customer, he replied "F!@# You, you're not a customer, you're just a pain in the a$$." He asked me if I wanted it fixed or not, I told him no. Today I go to pick it up, and they want $94.00 because they fixed it. When I told the cashier what he said to me about not being a customer, the owner comes running out from the garage pointing his finger in my face telling me I had a bad attitude. And saying to my blind husband who has had four strokes in the last two years, that if he had to put up with me he'ld be digging a hole somewhere. And then he tells us to leave or he is calling the police. I told him one of us was calling the police so it may as well be him. The police came and I got my lawnmower back.
