I highly recommend Catrina. We have 3 dogs. She takes good care of them and her assistant too. I ask her to cut my Pekingese like a Shitzu sometimes and she looks amazing. She has a lot of patience, cleans them, does nails and everything. She has gone over and beyond in certain situations. Every dog I have has a different personality and one has a collapsed lung and she takes great care of all of them. She definitely knows how to take care of the separation anxiety dogs. Great place for grooming! My dogs love it and for my two it takes about an hour at a reasonable price. The other day she helped me out tremendously because she let me do an emergency appointment when my dogs had an accident in the car even though she was about to leave she fit me in, I really appreciate how great their service is! I have never experienced such a rude and abrasive dog groomer/handler. She double booked my appointment and became rude to my dog. She tried to pick him up but he he cried. She told me that she couldn't wash him if she couldn't pick him up. My dog is older and she was not sympathetic at all. I left and actually cried over the situation. My feelings were beyond hurt when she didn't even say sorry. She then calls me not once but twice to come pick up my dog. She can't handle reservations or dogs. read more

Unbelievable experience. Can't get it out of my mind. I've had multiple horrible experiences getting my dogs nails clipped. I've seen them use two people to hold her down use a muzzle and have even walked out without them not finishing. Katrina was amazing. Literally put her on the bench asked me to lightly hold my dogs collar and she was done in less than 5 min. My dog barely had time to squirm or show teeth. AMAZING. If I could leave zero stars I would. I normally don't like leaving reviews but I have no choice but to write this. We left our dog with them to board at Catrina's house (like it says on the website and what she told us) from Wednesday to Tuesday . The website says you will receive daily updates and pictures. After asking for proof of life at midnight Thursday, we got a picture of our dog on Friday. Said he was fine but scared of the large farm animals. Little did we know that that was a lie. Our dog never left the groomery. We never received another update even after I emailed her Monday afternoon. When we picked up our dog Tuesday morning, we asked the lady why they took our dogs collar off. The Apple AirTag on the collar never left the Groomery. She then told us that the collar wasn't taken off, that our dog had stayed there, crated all day except for the 3 times she would visit him and play with him. We were appalled when she told us this. We don't crate our dogs when they are home. We had Catrina contact us and she tried to tell us that our dog stayed at her house the whole time. She didn't know that her helper had already told us the truth. When we confronted her with this she got very defensive and nasty. Please be aware of their deception if you are thinking of boarding your pet with them. Our dogs will never set foot in there again. read more

I had an appointment (and an email confirmation) for 7pm. I drove 35 minutes to this groomer and the doors were closed and the lights were off. I called the next day to speak with the staff and I was aggressively told I was wrong and my appointment was 6:30pm even though I had the 7pm appointment in writing. The woman was nasty and then hung up on me and didn't even offer to fix the situation or set me up with a new appointment. Then when I called back the person hit the decline button on the phone. This business is completely unprofessional and honestly didn't even do a good job grooming my dog the last two times I came, I only brought her back to have her teeth cleaned. I definitely will not be returning and urge other people not to fall for their "best of Long Island" crap. read more

I truly don't like to leave bad reviews, but after reading another review below with a similar issue I felt I needed to do a review . As per her website it states you can tour her home where the animals are boarded , THIS IS NOT TRUE. She needs to change and update her website. We were told you can no longer see where your pet is because clients disregarded her rules and hours, she should get rid of those clients. We boarded our dog a few times, I was always not happy about dropping him to her business and not knowing where he was kept. During our vacation we got no updates or photos, her website states she does updates with photos . She also called on our travel day home wondering when we were picking him up , she messed up our pick up day. We had also scheduled 2 different grooming appointments while we boarded our dog there and BOTH TIMES she forgot. Another weekend board we returned to get him and he was so filthy dirty, I had to bathe my dog once we got home. Then we were going to board him again , prior to a week long vacation we asked again to see where he stays, I was not happy she said no yet again. Sorry but I need to know where my dog is and to see the place . We asked more questions this time, like who watches our dog and other pets while she worked at shop only to find out he stayed at the shop all day every day and not on her farm with other dogs ...We assumed that that is where he stayed day and night, I told her this was so wrong and she was not being honest ....if we had known our dog stayed at her shop and not on a farm as her websites states we NEVER would have boarded our dog with her. However, staff was not friendly, place was dirty and they left a huge mat in my dogs tail and did not cut either of my dogs well. Very sloppy.. My little dogs face was not clean at all. Catrina tries to accommodate convenient appointment times and is always on schedule. she greets my dogs warmly and treats them as if they're her own. I brought my 6 month old english lab to get her nails trimmed. I was expecting her to be taken in the back and put on the table but instead we were in the teeny tiny lobby where no more than 2 people and a dog could stand. I have a regular hot pink collar on my dog and a pinch collar (recommended by my dog trainer since she pulls). The groomer grabbed the pinch collar and pulled on it until my puppy screamed and cried, she then realized she grabbed a pinch collar and proceeded to collar shame me for putting it on my dog. She then grabbed the other collar and her legs and my dog was screaming and crying which then made me start to cry and I told her to stop. My dog has her nails trimmed at the vet with ZERO issues but they didn't have any appointments available so I decided to try this groomer. My dog and I were totally traumatized by the lack of care and compassion for a puppy. I will NEVER go to this place again and make sure every pet owner I know how bad this experience was. read more

I've used this groomer for years and went through 2 owners before it was sold again. I took my toy poodle in for a teddy bear cut and she received a very bad shave down "because that was the blade used on her last time and that's not a teddy bear cut" never mind that the last time I brought her in I wanted a shave down for her. The owner clearly does not follow instructions and doesn't seem to care about what the customer wants. read more

This is a very low-key, low-tech, friendly little place, behind the Miller Place Animal Hospital. It's TINY, but pretty average in price. They finished with my dog very quickly (under an hour), but when I got her home I realized why . . . her coat was still quite damp. Not great when it's 30 degrees outside. read more

We have been going to All Pet Groomery for over a year now. Not happy with the way my dog's grooming sessions have been coming out. I think they hired a newbie who practiced on my dog and it came out awful! All choppy and uneven. Ruined my beautiful dog's appearance. It will grow back but what really bothered me is that they made him bleed again (last appointment they made him bleed too) on his paw by cutting nail too short. Very unfriendly place and Catrina seems agitated to be working with my dog who is well behaved. He actually didn't want me to leave him there and was crying. I rather pay more money for my dog to have a positive experience and come out looking like a professional cut his hair. If you don't know how to cut a Golden doodle then don't pretend to. I always went to Kristy for my dog grooming, she sold her business and I tried them out yesterday. First, they were snotty from the start, I should have gone with my instincts and go elsewhere but I had an appointment and they absolutely butchered my dog. Her hair is uneven, her ears are shaved, she looks like a homeless dog. I will never ever go back nor would I ever recommend this place, it's filthy, they are rude and they obviously do not know what they are doing. I wish Kristy was still there.
