We have been going to Best Friends Grooming for almost 8 years with our first 2 Newfoundlands, Sasha & Deja and then with our next 2 rescue Newfoundland's, Peaches and Sampson. They are still doing a phenomenal job although it's only with Peaches and our newest addition, Reagan; our little Shih Tzu. We love working with the team, especially Adrien and Haley. They know exactly what our pups need and what I, as a very particular pup mom, want. I took MrBenny, age 2, a long haired deer nose chihuahua originally back in August 2023 for a simple nail and paw hair trim because a sister company closer to me was booked out. They did a great job "in and out", meaning they were more than willing to take him immediately and me to wait for him because he had terrible separation anxiety issues, which they did everything possible to make it easy. In the intervening period, I had various other places trim his nails, including the vets, but never as well done as Best Friends. This is a dog who would never ever let me brush him, although he loves water and was easy to bath, I finally got fed up with picking leaves and mud out of his very long haired tail as he sweeps the lawn and dirt roads where he walks daily. Off we went to Best Friends Grooming! Bath, trim, nails. They did an excellent job and even for a breed prone to anxiety, I would say it couldn't have been easier on him. From the vibe I got on first arrival, calm and welcoming and no barking dogs, neither when I dropped him off or picked him up. The other place I tried, I walked away from as there was way too much going on with loud barking by huge dogs. My dog at under 20lb was terrified. At Best Friends Grooming, the dogs waiting in crates are set at waist height in the wall, so they can see the other dogs on the grooming tables - so smart, so not scary and they know what to expect. It's a small place, so you may have to be flexible on your appointment, and for me it's a bit further to travel than I would choose, but so worth it and they did a really good job on his trim, exactly what I asked for and reasonably priced. We love Best friends grooming! We have been taking our very shy tiny toy poodle Chloe for grooming since May. She comes out looking beautiful and clean and nails trimmed. They groomed her in the style that I asked for and they are always very welcoming, loving, and patient with her. She even comes home with an adorable report card. It's obvious they love animals and treat them as if they were their own. We also brought our last toy poodle who had dementia there for her last couple of grooming's and they were absolutely so understanding and patient with her. My little Coco has always come back to me crying after getting groomed. I'm very skeptical when I take her any where. Danny let me chew his ear off and was very patient with me. I might have been more nervous than Coco. When I picked her up from best friend's grooming, she was happy. She came to me to say hello and then walked away to discover and smell around the store. That showed me she felt comfortable and safe. She was giving the staff kisses which is unlike her. Cocos reaction showed me I could trust them. Best Dog Groomers I've ever been to!! When you first walk in, you immediately see how immaculate is. Then you're greeted by the very nice owner. To my surprise, The place doesn't even have any odors at all! My dog is blind and deaf and is instantly comfortable walking in. They take great care of him. After going into Best Friends Grooming & seeing how beautiful & clean it was inside I felt a little better - after meeting the groomer & having her look at my fur babies & give me her professional opinion I felt a lot better!
