I had a big project and found Matt Crane's information on the business FB page. I thought I would give him a try because the area he operates in has large properties with lots of trees, bushes and weeds. First Matt showed up late for our meeting to discuss what work I wanted done on my property. After telling him what I wanted done, asking him to meet one more time before he started the work if he had questions, and going over it again the morning that he showed up to do the work, he failed to complete about 20%. He didn't clear areas of grass of weeds, he actually just weed whacked areas that should have been returned to dirt for planting, or the rocks that were underneath the weeds. He left 30-40 young cherry trees up and failed to remove a neighbors bushes and trees that had grown over the fence. He didn't trim a tree that was hanging over my driveway as promised, and when I finally saw my driveway and stairs in daylight he had failed to even make an attempt to clear them of crack weeds and dirt. He also charged me 12% more than the upper limit of his bid. It was a lot of work but he should have told me it was to much of a project for him before bidding and agreeing to do it. At the end of the day it seemed like he was unwilling to do work that got him out of this excavator's seat. After going back into FB and tracing the glowing reviews he had they all turned out to be friends of his. He is truly below average for the business he is in, don't use him! read more

Matt was very personable and wanted to help honor the loss of my husband by working on my lawn. He said his business card represents someone he lost and built a stream in their honor. We went back and forth about thatching. But i was told there was no reason to thatch a green lawn. He agreed to do what i originally wanted, whoch was just fertilize, weed killer and lime. However, when i called to see if workers were here and questioned the process, he blew me off instead of coming over and reassure me what was done. During the original interview he complained about a woman calling about her lawn, when reading her text, didn't think anything of it until it happened to me. read more
