Her attitude was very off putting to say the least. She then told me that my land isn't very valuable because its not flat and city people are the ones buying in the Poconos and they want flat land like the city. Well we're city people and the reason we bought the house was because it was unique and unlike the city. She also said the house has steps and nobody wants a house with steps to the driveway. She valued my house and property at $80,000. When I told her my price she laughed and said that would just be a waste of everyone's time. I listed with another realtor for $114,900.00. I sold the house for $112,000.00. I had 51 showings in 60 days. My advice would be to find another realtor.

I had my house up for rent with this agency & unfortunately for me the tenants ended up having a personal relationship with the agency staff! These tenants turned out to be even more disgraceful then the agency staff! They were scam artist who intentionally attempted property damage to try to collect insurance payment & were supported by the agency as these tenants could do no wrong in their eyes! After I finally got them out of my house & said good riddance! The agent that was supposed to be my eyes & ears as we reside on the west coast & the house is on the east, intentionally left damages to my house unreported. She never provided accurate pics as agreed & purposely led us to believe all was well with our home & was ready for the new tenants. It wasnt until the tenants took up occupancy that I learned from pics/reports from the new tenants the condition my home was left in! When I tried to take up the issue with the manager of this location she was unprofessional/confrontational & disgraceful!!! Continuing even after the tenants vacated property to aid them stating the house was left in pristine condition & tenants did no wrong!!! When I signed my first lease a year ago there were several problems with electrical wiring in the…read moreapt that was rented. However, I am a very patient person and gave them time to fix issues that occurred like sparks that would fly if we dared to plug in a cable box in the wall of certain rooms. This problem was fixed within the first 2 months of the lease. There was another problem where the house was not wired properly to meters on the home. With this issue the Utlity Providers could not charge us for utilities until the issue was corrected. Even with several other small issues I reluctantly resigned the lease in July of this year. We were promised that there would be a 24 hr maintenance team in the event of emergencies. When a skunk crawled into our basement through a large space in the house's foundation we found the "24 hr crew" to be non existent. Fast forward to present day there have still been issues where the breakers will trip in the home once every few weeks. The landlord was made aware of it. Once again because of extreme patience to us it wasn't a big issue. Then one afternoon the breakers trip again and the woman of the house is home alone. She heads down the wooden steps to reset the breakers and goes through the staircase on the third step from the top. She is only 4ft11 and weighs 160lbs. There is no reason that she should have went through the staircase. Once she was able to get to her feet she then had to climb out. Frantic and in pain she called me immediately to tell me what happened. When I spoke to Lisa at this office she didn't even seem to care and was more concerned with the reason that someone went into the basement. I told her that I felt it was best that we start to look for other living arrangements. At this point she chose to remind me that I am still responsible for rent payments through the duration of the lease. Lisa also states that she was told by property owner that the steps were "fairly" new. Not sure if I can legally get out of the lease, but hoping for the best. If you are looking to move to the Pocono area I would not recommend Michael Baxter & Associates. On a side note the appearance of the apartment was extremely amazing.
