Absolute rip off merchants, nothing but cowboys. I spoke with the Al guy, all nice and pleasant at first but full of lies. He sends his guy out who took $524 for looking at my tub for a total of no more than 15 minutes, tells me I need a heater, when I signed his so called contract piece of paper there was no prices written on it, there was nothing, he wanted a signature to give him the right to look at it, so I signed, when he finished looking at it he then asked me for the $524, he told me this amount would be taken from the next bill when it was fixed, I even asked if it was going to be anywhere near $500 again. Well he was right, it wasn't, his guy wanted $832 TO FIX IT. All in he wanted $1.355.00. I told his guy not to go near my tub. The very next day I had another company come out and fix it, NEW HEATER, Fixed it in under and hour, Total for the whole job, $197.37 I have tried now on numerous occasions to get hold of the so called nice guy Al, won't lift the phone and nowhere to be seen, he has $524 of my monies for doing absolutely nothing. Absolutely avoid these guys, a pure SCAM. read more

The guys came on time, gave me a reasonable estimate and made plans to take my hot tub away. Within a few days, the guys came to pick up my hot tub. I was very pleased with their friendly and professional demeanor! They worked well with my two dogs around and we're very careful! I recommend them! read more

Agree with all the negative reviews here. Wish I read them before! Save your money and go elsewhere. I paid $650 for an "inspection" that I could have done myself. If I could give zero stars I would! I called All Pool to look at my hot tub. I was told, by Al (who squeezed me in because he used to live around here) that it would cost $395 to diagnose and that money would go towards the repairs. Their "technician" came out he looked around for about 5 minutes and said I have to call the manufacturer. Then told me "I have good news and bad news. the bad news is your circuit board is fried. The good news is it is covered by homeowners." I asked how much it would cost and was told "You have to work with Al". A few days later I get a call from Al who says "Okay here are the next steps. Call your homeowners and tell them about the issue. We will work with them. If they ask, tell them you don't know what happened. All you do is take your shoes off and get in". I asked how much it was going to cost and was again told we will work with your homeowners. Finally, after pressing for a cost, I was told by Al he would have to check with his guys in the back. He didn't have the number! I said I'm not sure I want to go through homeowners, please get me the number. After a week goes by, I get a call from Al saying "We will replace everything inside and the cost will be.." I stopped him and said "Why are you replacing things that do not need to be replaced". I FINALLY got a price of $1,757. If I was paying myself the $395 would be put toward the repair bringing my cost down to $1362. I told Al i would get back to him. I then called Bucks County Hot Tubs. The "Fried" circuit board was replaced for $497! Of course after about 15 minutes I began to get the same error messages and called Bucks County Hot Tubs back. They replaced the sensors and the hot tub has been running great since. If Bucks County had diagnosed the issue, like All Pool was supposed to, I would have paid $148 for the repair instead of $1,000! All Pool is looking to do nothing but scam insurance companies! PLEASE DO NOT use this company! They told me when they came out I would be charged an "inspection fee". The owner Al said he would apply the cost of the inspection towards the cost of the repairs if I chose to work with him. I wrote him a check for $418.70 for the inspection. When they came to do the work they told me I need to write a check for $2,300 to start the job. Upon completion I was told I work an additional $206.90. I questioned the total amount, but in the end I wrote the check. Upon further review, I realized the total was incorrect. In total I paid $2925.60. When I received the bill it stated the cost to repair the steps is $1800 and cost to repair light is $880. These two totaled us $2760 and with sales tax the total is 2925.60. This is the same total of the three checks I wrote. The first check totally 418.70 is the inspection fee that was supposed to be "applied to the cost of the job". Obviously he did not apply the inspection cost into the work. In their OWN MATH on the INVOICE, he wrote $1880 for ages, $880 for light and MINUS 395 for inspection discount. That brings my total down to $2,365 for the job, plus sales tax for a total of $2,506. I explained to him that my three checks totaled $2925.60. His response was "I know that's how much the job cost to do". I said, "correct, but you told me the $418 would be applied". He the proceeded to insult me stating "I did take that out for you. It's basic math. I know your from Philly. Do you need me to do it for you". I then said "I see you took it out on paper to total $2,506". He again said "yes". I again questioned why I paid full price and instead of trying to understand, he continued to insult my intelligence and refused to refund the $418 owed to me. He is very arrogant and said "take me to small claims court". He also stated he's not "afraid of The Better Business Bureau". Save yourself the headache and do business elsewhere! read more

Worst company I have ever used. We called because water is leaking out of our skinmer basket. We have an above ground pool. I have looked in catalogs the pricees for this piece range from $60.00-75.00. We paid the $395.00, and were told it would go toward the service. Now being told they have skimmer basket and if needed, they will patch the lineraround the basket. This will cost another $1,000. We have had this pool for 34 years, a new liner bought an put in only costs $495.00. Granted that was 6 years ago. But $1395, and your changing a skimmer and patch job!!! Rip off city!! Do not use this company!!! Save your time and your money, The company does not complete the job that they started and you would get the terrible service. They came out to repair our jacuzzi, charged us immediately $418 for diagnostic not giving the clear report what actually happened with the jacuzzi. The money where supposed to go to the balance of repair, which never been done. My husband was leaving the multiple amount of messages of Al who must be the owner of the company. Spoke to him ones and has been very frustrated with the conversation. Al was trying to convince my husband to use our homeowners insurance to replace some kind of transformer in the house that we Do Not Need to replace. So they would get more money for repair. Never ever ever use this company. They were paid the full amount to open the pool for the season. They came on a day they were not suppose to and proceeded to just take the cover off and store it. Nothing had been run. No chemicals had been put in the pool. We called to ask why and George the pool service guy said the pool wasnt full enough to run the filter. After damn near begging the service man to return they agreed and told us to fill the pool to the height they needed. That was done the second I hung up the phone. They said they would come the next day and to leave the gate open. In which we did. No show. 3 days later after 100 messages on the corporate phone we got ahold of Geroge. George said that he isnt coming back and I am to run my own filter. I was arguing on the phone with him asking him to finish his job. He then hung up on me. Mind you, George cashed our check immediately after the first visit. So they had our money. The owner Al finally tells to my wife abou the situation. He refuses to come back and says he will sue if we write a review. I urge any and everyone to stop using this company or never use this company to begin with. Complete scam!! I spoke with a guy named Al, which seemed knowledgeable and helpful at first. He then set up a service appointment and charged me $418.70 for a service technician to come out and do a 30 minute diagnostic on the Hot Tub. I had to call and get the diagnostic from him and he told me that I needed a Heater / Sensor Pack / and High Limit wire to fix the Hot Tub. All of these items totaled under $200 when I searched for them online and he told me that it would be $1,600 to fix. He then went on to explain that I could use the $418.70 towards the repair of the Hot Tub and if I didn't like his price, then call someone else and hung up the phone. Both my hot tub and pool were damaged by the recent storm and my neighbor highly referred All Pool Service Company to me, they have been using them for over 10 years. All Pools were fantastic!! Very professional from the phone call to every aspect of the job. They showed up on time, and if an unanticipated delay occurred, they called and rescheduled to the very next day. The guys were great and very knowledgeable. There was one mistake in the pool repair but when I called about it they came right out and immediately corrected it. I highly recommend this company. P. Don't be fooled by their 'nice guy' front man, Al. He'll charm you. He's a charmer. Seemed completely reasonable - - $400 (non-refundable) charge (they only accept checks, hmm) to come out and diagnose our malfunctioning hot tub, but that $400 would be taken off our final bill. They said it would take a couple days to get the right parts, then they'd come back and install. No prob. Waited a week for them to call back (as they made sure our check cleared). At this point, we were warned by someone familiar with this company's antics, ALL POOLS AND SPAS SERVICE, that they scam all new spa owners. We called them after a week and a half, and, oh, yeah, we got your part right here. It'll cost another $900 to install it. (on the down low, we learned this magical $900 part is only worth $30). Confronted with this information when the technician showed up (in an unmarked white van) that we were onto their game, they took off, without letting us have the $30 part that we paid for. In my opinion, I've been ripped of $1300.00 by this company. I have spoke to the person whom I believe to be the owner. His name is Al. I hired this company back in early June 2014. When I spoke to Al on the phone I told him that I have a leak in my pool and I had reached out to another leak detection company and they couldn't come out for 6 weeks. Al assured me that since I was 'local' he would help me. During our conversation Al told me that the cost would be $495.00 dollars to do diagnostic testing. He also informed me that if the testing found the leak, the $495.00 would be applied towards any repairs. He did also inform me that if the initial set of diagnostic testing did not find the leak, then they would have to come out with a special microphone to detect leaks and that would cost another $495.00. Sure enough the first set of diagnostic tests didn't find anything. So they came out with their microphones and said that they found the leak, which they repaired (without my authorization) and then proceeded to charge me an additional $300.00 (on top of the $495) for the repair. My wife paid the technician the $795.00. I called Al and asked him why I was charged an additional $300.00 to repair the leak when he told me that the payment for the diagnostic test(s) (totaling $990.00 so far) would be applied to the repairs. Al told me that I misunderstood him. He informed me that the money I paid for diagnostic test only gets applied to "plumbing" repairs. I informed him that is not what he told me. He said that the $300.00 doesn't mean that much to him and for the sake of doing good business, he would refund me the additional $300.00. Well, that conversation happened over three weeks ago and needless to say he hasn't kept his word. In the meantime, I had to hire someone else who came out and got into the pool and found the leak within and hour. He used epoxy to fix it and since then I have not lost an ounce of water. The total cost for his visit and repair was less than $300.00, compared to the $1290.00 that I paid to All Pools and Spas that did not stop the leak. If I ever get my $300.00 back, I will update this review. At this point, I'm writing it of as a cost of learning not to do business with All Pools and Spas. Buyer beware! DO NOT use this company to repair your pool, or Spa. The owner, Al Forchetti, will schmooze you, and act like your best friend, UNTIL he has ALL of your money. The guys he sent to install my new liner were very unprofessional. Before they started the installation, they required the total balance, less a paltry $300.00, in cash... literally cash.... Not a check! They wouldn't start the work until after we went to the bank, and withdrew $4,000.00, plus the tiny $300.00 hold back. The installer, George, counted it, then put it in his sock. I'm not joking. He worked all afternoon, with my big wad of cash, in his sock! This was after AAA Action Pool Service had already received a $3,500.00 down payment, from me, months ago. I've never heard of doing business this way. I've since learned that it may even be illegal. After they finished, and received full payment, they left, without even saying "Goodbye". I turned around, and they were just gone. Not surprisingly, after we finished filling the pool, the liner was popping out of the track, there were big folds and creases in two corners, and a large bubble, in the liner, on one wall. Also, the plumbing repair, that George did, at the pump, was leaking worse than before. It's been three days since I called Al, about these issues, and still I don't know when, or even if, anyone is going to come out to fix these problems. His response was to give me George's personal cell phone number, and tell me to deal with him directly. "WHAT?" Al Forchetti, who used to talk to me for an hour at a time, now gives me the bum's rush, when I call. Why? Because he has all of my money, and so I am not a priority anymore, nor is my pool. I have finally gotten hold of George, and he has promised to come out, by the end of the weekend, to fix the leak, and address the problems with the liner. I have more faith in HIM, than in the owner, AL. By the way, AAA Action Pools, A1- Pools and Spas, All Pools and Spas, Forchetti Pools, A-l Pools and Spas,.... and there are yet more names, are ALL the same company. They have many different aliases, and various addresses and phone numbers, in the NJ/PA area, including, but not limited to Bensalem, Pa, Springfield, PA Princeton, NJ, Morrisville, PA, etc. They are ALL the same place, and owned by Al Forchetti.
