The man showed up and towed me back to his shop. I told him that I wanted them to throw a new motor in it, because the rest of the car was in good shape. Days later, he called me and said he could not locate a motor for me. So, he said he would buy the car from me and that all I had to do was transfer the title to him. In the meantime, he would keep the car there. Being from Ohio, I had to call the Ohio DMV to work out the transfer. I had never done it before and had problems with the DMV. They told me that I would need to come in, which was impossible. So, I basically had to find someone to go into the DMV for me, which is tough because of their hours. I finally had someone go in and take care of everything and mail the title to me. Soon after, C&J called me with a change of heart and said that I owed them roughly $600 and needed to pay for the tow and that he still wanted the title. His reasoning was that it was taking too long. He told me that they transfer titles all of the time, but had never offered to help me transfer the title. Even though he told me he would hold the car while I transferred the title, he suddenly decided to apply regular storage fees. He absolutely refused to help me and refused to work with me. So, because I had to resolve the title issue, couldn't have taken the car anywhere else and didn't want to extend my enlistment to fight with him (I was down to a few days), I came down to the shop to pay him the money that I owed him, even though I felt like it was wrong. Once I gave him the money, he immediately started joking about how his dad had a Saturn in his lot the whole time. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. The guy lied to me, went against an agreement that I had with him and swindled me out of a vehicle and $600.
