This company was hired to complete a copper repiping project at our apartment complex, and unfortunately, the quality of the work and the overall care taken inside the units were very poor. Management provided residents with notices informing us when the work would be performed, which was appreciated. However, the project required workers to enter and exit the units throughout the day for approximately two consecutive weeks. During this time, workers repeatedly entered the units wearing their work boots, tracking dirt and debris across the floors. Although a tarp was placed near the doorway leading into one of the rooms, the tarp itself was extremely dirty and did not adequately cover the areas where workers were walking and performing their work for example carpets and around kitchen area! While the workers made some attempts to clean up before leaving, the units were still left dirty. I personally witnessed a worker cleaning the floor and then dumping the dirty cleaning water into my bathtub and kitchen sink, which I found extremely unsanitary and unprofessional. There were also several concerns regarding how the unit was left during the work. Workers would leave the front door and balcony door wide open while performing repairs. They also created additional holes in the walls, failed to properly close these openings, and left portions of the walls completely exposed for extended periods during the project without adequately covering or securing them. Left dirty fingerprints on the ceiling and walls. Overall, the workmanship, cleanliness, and care taken while working inside occupied residences were unacceptable. Residents should not have to deal with excessive dirt, unsanitary cleanup practices, unsecured doors, and unfinished or exposed walls for extended periods while work is being performed inside their homes. This is not a review of workmanship. It's a warning about their front office. All Pro Repipe is run by professional time-wasters. J referenced below is abbreviation of front office point of contact. We requested an estimate on 10/17/25 and were scheduled by J for an estimator to come out on 10/28/25. No one showed up. No call. No text. No reschedule. Nothing. When we followed up, we were given an excuse and told we'd have to wait until November. In November, after doing exactly what we were told, we were suddenly informed that scheduling was no longer available. My mother called J understandably frustrated after having weeks of our time wasted. Instead of taking responsibility, J took it personally. What followed was nearly three months of being strung along -- November and December filled with vague promises, shifting dates, and "check back later" responses. Eventually we were told to call again in the new year because the estimator's schedule would "reopen." When I called on 1/5/26, J finally dropped the act and told me they would not do business with us because my mother had been "combative." So let's be clear: rather than simply saying no, this company chose to waste almost three months of our time, failed to show up to a scheduled appointment, failed to communicate, failed to manage a calendar -- and then quietly retaliated because someone had the audacity to be upset about it. If this is how they handle a simple estimate, imagine how they handle an actual job. Zero professionalism, zero accountability, and zero respect for customers' time. Proceed accordingly. read more

We had two slab leaks over two years and with the third slab leak, committed to having the whole house re-piped with copper. All Pro was recommended by the plumber that did the slab leak repairs. They provided a fair estimate and reviews looked good therefore scheduled the repipe. They arrived on time; did preparation to reduce dust; they completed the repipe in one day, about 8 hours (2900 sq ft home, 3 baths, kitchen, and then some). The city inspector was at the house after the weekend for rough inspection. The wall patch team had prepared the walls to patch and once the inspector signed off they went to work. The walls were patched and textured. The whole job took about 2.5 days. I will need to repaint the walls. They were professional, friendly and efficient. The office coordinator (Josie) kept us informed and answered our questions throughout the process. Our house was built in 1989 with uninsulated copper hot water lines. Go with anyone else! I wish I could give these guys a 0/5 or a 0/10. Rude, disrespectful, no communication, and they left a huge mess. They are some of the lowest-quality contractors I've ever seen These guys are some of the worst contractors I've ever encountered. They have been disrespectful of personal property, and one of the guys, Rafael, thought it was ok to play music from his phone loudly while he worked in our kitchen. The foreman for the project last week, Rene, was extremely inept and did very little to communicate when he would be done or the timeline for when his people would return. These guys also left huge holes in our walls for days on-end, no cardboard to cover them or anything. Not to mention the subcontractors (one of them named Benjamin I think?) they hired to patch up the walls, almost a week later mind you, felt it appropriate to just waltz on in and begin running up our electric bill with their massive generator. I also saw the crew comprising of Rene, Allen, and Rafael left a huge mess of drywall and did very little to even attempt to clean it up! Rafael (assuming he gave me his real name) left metal shards and metal shavings all over our kitchen floor, and he did not clean it up at all. They also moved all the food from our pantry and did not respect our pets (cats) even in the slightest. The property management hired these guys, so I know now who to NEVER RECOMMEND if I ever own my own home. They also left a Porto's coffee cup (among other trash) on our balcony, not even bothering to throw it away. Don't hire these guys, they don't deserve your business since they do a bad job and are not respectful of personal property or your pets! read more

Our second slab leak was going to cost several thousand to sleave or bypass due to the manifold locations, our plumber recommended we get a quote from All Pro Copper to re-pipe our entire 2.5 bath, 2 story house. Jim came out the following day and provided an extremely competitive quote the same day for both PEX and Copper options. I don't trust the longevity or micro/nanoplastic risk of PEX so we went with copper. Their team of plumbers came in Saturday morning at 8am, and had the whole house done and cleaned up by 4pm. Monday morning their drywall guys repaired and textured all the necessary walls and were done by the following afternoon. All I have to do is a bit of repainting and it's like nothing happened. Now I have the peace of mind of never worrying about a slab leak again! So we recently had a slab leak that caused damage to 2/3 of our home. Apparently this was the 2nd slab leak as we saw an area that was fixed prior when our flooring was removed during water mitigation. Since the house was already torn up we decided to just get our home repiped so we don't ever have to deal with slab leaks again. So off to the interweb to look for a repiping company. I found a few and got quotes but was then referred to All Pro Copper Repipes. I contacted Jim to schedule a quote & he responded quickly. When he arrived he was very thorough and provided a folder with more information on the process & materials used. He stated the repipe would only take one day and the drywall repairs would also take one day. That was far quicker than the 2-3 days we were quoted from other companies and that didn't include drywall repairs. All Pro includes the drywall repair in their quote which was really nice. Their prices were competitive but the ease (repipe & drywall repairs together) and time to get it all done was hands down the reason we decided to go with All Pro. Not to mention they were referred to us. On the day of repiping we were greeted by at least 7 workers from All Pro who were there when they said they would be there. It was a bit overwhelming at first but nice to see a full crew dedicated to our home. They came in, prepped everything and got to work. Each guy was designated to an area. It was like a fine orchestra all working together. They were able to get our house repiped in a day as promised. On the day of drywall repair, we were greeted by 4 guys. They also came ready to work and did an excellent job putting our swiss cheese home back together. It did take them longer but they still finished the same day. Would you ever hire someone to put in your drains flowing UPHILL? That is horrendous. Any plumber knows that. I had 20 tubs and drains installed and repiped in my Long Beach complex by Jim at All Pro Copper Repipes. Nice guy until things go bad. For years after All Pro replaced my pipes, the tub drain didn't work right until it finally rotted out from standing water. I discovered the new drain was installed with a 1-1/2" uphill rise on a 10" run after it leaves the trap. That is gross!! Granted it may have been difficult to do it right. It took major work to correct the problem. Lazy plumbers cut corners to do things fast. All Pro is fast too! Such a bonus! When I told Jim to fix the problem, he refused and threatened to sue if I posted this on YELP. Not even an offer to inspect the problem? What kind of service is this? I can understand mistakes do happen. But, if I were reputable, I would want to see and correct bad workmanship so customers were served. My advice: Don't succumb to low prices as the real price will be apparent AFTER the job is done and you can't get service. Check for a contractor's license, and get warrantees in writing. Those were my failures. I don't know yet how many more drains may have been butchered after being quietly sealed in the walls. Jim and the guys at All-Pro took on a huge project... repiping a 71 unit condo building that was built in the early 1920s. Yes! Nearly 100 years old! The job was extremely labor intensive as it's a concrete building and no one had attempted, previously, to even consider this project. The project started exactly on time... just when they said they would be there. The crew, especially Rene, the project foreman, was there on the spot every single day. If his crew was in the building, Rene was in the building. Not only was he supervising his crew he was absolutely a "go to" guy to pleasantly and truthfully answer questions from the HOA people and also the residents. He's amazing. Jim was available to us as well to assure residents that we were in good hands. The project started on time, the project ended on time, and the project was completed at the quoted price, even though, there were other factors that came up along the way. The HOA was required to retain the services of an independent inspector to be in the building every time the City was there for inspection. This was an additional cost of over $5,000 to our Association and this inspector had only great things to say about the workmanship, the materials, and the manner in which the job was done. This job was a nightmare for everyone... imagine every single unit having to have kitchen walls and bathroom walls broken into to accomplish the repiping, but I would challenge anyone to have done the project better, faster, cheaper or with less mess than this crew. For the first time in about 35 years, the residents at our building can go to bed with the knowledge and confidence that we aren't going to be springing leaks, incurring costly repairs, and all the miserable inconveniences or by having the water to the entire building turned off on a regular basis. Each stack of units has its own shut offs now; each kitchen and bathroom has its own shut offs now... We are in heaven. Again.. the whole crew to a man was top notch. I would recommend anyone to give these guys a call. They're terrific! read more

If I was too write everything that went wrong with this company you wouldn't believe it. Bottom line is they will be nice and will offer you a good rate. But once you need them after work is done and paid for, in my experience, it's when they are ready and have scheduling available. Now that's all fine if it's something small and not important. But when a customer in a complex springs a pinhole leak and has to have water shut off in an entire building, that holds multiple units. Or a tenant that has a water problem and can't shower. It needs attention immediately. I have called and been told " well our schedule is super booked , we can get there in a few days". Especially being that these jobs are part of warranty that just can't be. Closed on weekends? And if we need warranty services during a weekend Incident? They have even sent crew members that speak zero English. Making it difficult to communicate needs. Worse communication I have ever seen. Only respond and contact you when convenient for them. I had a problem with a leaky water supply pipe under the concrete slab. The house is over 40 years old. I came to the conclusion that doing a complete re-pipe through the attic was the best solution. Jim came out promptly and gave me a reasonable bid to re-pipe the whole house. We scheduled work to start at a mutually agreeable date. The crew showed up on time at 8am on a Tuesday and completely re-piped the inside of the house in 1 day (2.5 bathrooms, 1 wet bar, kitchen with fridge line, wet bar, 2 water heaters, laundry room, 4 hose bibs). He also included a separate shut-off valve for the sprinkler system before the main shut-off valve to the house, so that the sprinklers can remain active if the house is shut off - something I asked for special. City Inspector approved their work on Wednesday while the crew finished the underground water line from the street to the house. On Thursday the patching crew was there at 8am and patched all walls, including matching, texture-coating, and 1 stucco opening on the outside. The patch is professional grade. Now that it's dry, it's hard to tell where any openings were made. City inspector approved the underground pipe on Thursday. On Monday the City approved the final inspection. Type L copper with 1/4 turn shut-off valves throughout and foam insulation for the pipes to code. Underground pipe was wrapped in blue plastic to prolong the life of the pipe. Excellent workmanship by a professional and work-focused crew. All Pro Copper Repipes is on my short-short list when it comes to re-piping. NEVER EVER under ANY circumstances use this plumbing company!!! Let me tell you a little story about how they caused havoc on my life and continue to.... Back in Oct the complex I live in decided to do a complete reinstallation of all the pipes and change them to copper. The HOA hires All Pro Copper Repipes to do the work and of course the project is delayed and of course my unit takes a little longer. In the meantime, my living room is not even livable because everything had to be taken out of the storage closet, half the clothes in my own closet was in my living room and there were at least 8 holes in my dining room and living room alone. Finally all the work is done, but all they are contracted to do is fill in the holes. . Fast forward five months later to early Mar 2007. The HOA Pres knocks on my door and asks to inspect my unit because they believe that a leak has sprung that is leaking down two flights to the garages. Sure enough, she looks at the wall behind my TV and finds a big water stain. She tells me that she is going to call the All Pro to come back out and fix it immediately... Fast forward three weeks later and All Pro FINALLY comes to do the work after the HOA Pres called them numerous times. On Fri March 30 around 6pm after a long day of work I come home to find half my furniture in the courtyard drying off and 3 people in my unit trying to sop up my place. This is an impossible feat because my unit is literally a swamp at this time. . Apparently All Pro sent their plumber out to fix the leak and he did NOT turn the water off prior to cutting into the wall (idiot times 100). The owner of the plumbing company is trying to say that you're not supposed to turn the water off because otherwise you can't find the leak. OK if that is true (bullshit if you ask me), then at least have another person manning the water valve and AT LEAST COVER MY BELONGINGS!!! This incompetent, sorry excuse for a plumber did not cover my belongings so when the leak sprung in my unit water sprayed all over my TV and electronics, my couch, chaise lounge, etc. It flooded into my dining room and part way into my bedroom, as well as the front storage room and into the walls behind the kitchen and my 2nd bathroom. I also had carpet so it was sopping wet. The plumber had to leave my unit to find the maintenance guy so he could turn off the water. So in the meantime a waterfall is pouring into my unit and destroying it. That night I called the Property Manager who did not answer his emergency pager until the next morning (worthless company, too) and the HOA President called All Pro. Mind you, when I got home, the plumber had taken off and left the maintenance guy and his friend to attempt to clean up the mess. I took inventory of everything that got damaged/wet, as well as took numerous pictures! The next morning, the Property Manager finally called and told me to go ahead and call Service Master for emergency services. By the time I called Service Master to schedule them to come out that day, that is when someone from All Pro finally called me. Too little too late, not to mention the owner, Jim Johnson, didn't call me until 3 days later to recommend an emergency service company. 3 DAYS?! In that time mold could be growing. The place was unlivable so I scheduled movers to come and move everything out of my unit so the rest of the carpet could be removed and all the drywalling and restoration could be done. In the meantime, All Pro is telling me I don't have to move out and they could have someone in there to lay down flooring WITH all my belongings in my unit. I DONT THINK SO IDIOTS! With all the dust that occurred from the drywalling, it would have covered my belongings in a blanket of filth and I didn't want them moving things around here and there and outside. Good thing I had everything billed directly to All Pro and/or the Property Management company. To make a long story short, the owner of All Pro, Jim Johnson, is a cheap and rude bastard who didn't want to go through his insurance so he told me to take him to court for the $6000 worth of damages he caused to my personal property. He also fought Service Master for the charges for the restoration that ended up causing Service Master to put a lien on my unit, but All Pro eventually paid every penny of that. Five months later I am still fighting the plumber for my personal property because he seriously believes he did no wrong. I am most definitely taking him to court and I just served him with some legal documents that will make his and his lawyer's head spin. He'll be paying me much more than what I originally asked for. All he had to do was own up to his mistake and pay me what was owed. I even went back and took off a number of charges to try and minimize costs, but Jim Johnson still would not budge. Before selecting a company to do the repipe in our home, I did my research. I asked for referrals from family and friends. I searched Yelp and Google. I checked http://cslb.ca.gov/ and the Better Business Bureau for complaints and finally narrowed down my search and contacted my top 3 for in-home estimates. When Jim came over, he assessed the work that needed to be done while I peppered him with a ton of questions which he answered patiently. I asked him about how he planned to reroute the piping, the type of copper pipe they'd use, how long the job would take and how long it would take to patch. When he said it would likely take a day to repipe and a day to patch, I was skeptical. That was until he said that he would have a crew of 6 to do the repipe and a another crew (can't remember how many he said) to patch the drywall. The most important question I asked him was, on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the most difficult job, how hard would it be to repipe our home. One company gave it a 10, saying that it would be one of the most difficult they've done; which made me worry; and by the way, that company gave me the highest estimate by far. When I posed this question to Jim, he gave it a 5, which gave me confidence. He said it was not the hardest job, nor was it the easiest. If he gave it a 1, I'd be just as concerned. When we decided on All Pro, I made the arrangements with Debbie. Just as discussed, the repipe crew of 6 came right on time and they started right away. They covered everything in plastic with drop cloths laid down on all walk ways. As the crew began to cover everything, the foreman, Rene, asked me to show him the house, where the bathrooms and kitchen were located. He then then explained where he planned to route the new pipes. Shortly after that, the crew started breaking drywall. Despite how much you prepare yourself for seeing holes in the drywall all over your house, nothing prepares you for the sounds of hammers makes holes in those walls. By the end of the day, the repipe was complete and we had running water! The next day before the city's inspection, the contractor who was going to do our remodel, came over to inspect the repipe himself. He was impressed with the workmanship and said that he would likely use them on his jobs as well. After the city inspection, the patch crew did their thing and did a good job of patching and laying the texture on the walls. I was impressed. The only hiccup during the job came when an electrical wire was accidentally cut. Rene was upfront about it, and in the end, All Pro took care of the issue satisfactorily. Would I use them again? Absolutely. They made a potentially very stressful situation for a homeowner, less stressful than it could have been. Communication was excellent with Debbie in the office, Rene onsite, and Jim checking in to make sure the job was progressing as expected. Debbie provided additional references as requested and took care of all the scheduling. Rene and his crew were very professional and very hardworking. All Pro was the ONLY company that told me they would pull a permit. The other two said it wasn't necessary, and when prompted, were reluctant to do it. Whether is it is or isn't necessary, telling me that they'd pull a permit tells me that the contractor is above board, and I appreciate that.
