I recently purchased a canopy at the Dearborn Heights, MI store and upon setting up for the first time, the corner seam ripped. When I worked for Dunham's we would have returned the defective product and dealt with the mfr. Now Dunham's just hands you (the customer) a phone number and says good luck dealing with the mfr. In today's customer centric retail world, that is not acceptable. If this is how Dunham's chooses to treat customers, I fear they are not going to remain competitive.

Mind you, there was literally two people in the place. After waiting for 20 minutes for the manager to make an appearance, the manager strolls out from what I assume is the front office casuallu strolls out with zero shards of urgency. He says nothing to me not his employee (rude as hell on both accounts) & punches his number in before strolling away. No "sorry for the wait!" Or "thank you!" To his employee. Just despicable. No wonder this place is going out of business!

I helped take my items off the hangers and I folded them. The cashier took the items and instead of trying to keep them neat, shook them out and scanned it, but not removing the security tag. So I asked if he was going to. I had two sweatshirts and a T-shirt. He then asks if I wanted A BAG??!! Why would I carry items out in my hand when folks with less items left with bags?
