The said they could do it, and we agreed on a fee for leveling the floor. Great. But then they didn't level the floor. The installer said it wasn't necessary when I came home and he was 3/4 done with the floor. When I complained about the final result, they didn't offer to take up the flooring and level it to make it right. They did remove the charge for leveling the floor but otherwise charged us full price for the install. 6 years later and our floor has been awful ever since Day 1 and I still hate how bouncy it is in many spots and its now starting to pull apart. I already need to pay for a new floor when should have lasted 15 years or more. I will say everyone we spoke with was kind and never rude, even if they didn't offer to make it right.

Rug depot carpeted both of our staircases almost immediately after we came in and picked out our carpet choice. The service was speedy and affordable. Also, rug depot is a family owned business. The staff here are caring, helpful and honest. Chris does the installations, his father helps with carpet selection and specifications for your location and his mother works on scheduling and coordination. Together, they run a great show and really take care of their customers. We love Chris. He really helped us find the best carpet for our home, tolerated our crazy toddlers running around in the store and in our home, our barking dog :) and also installed our carpets to perfection. He even drove back to the store and rescheduled our second installation because he wanted to make sure the job was done right. He even made two carpets for us out of the leftovers from the job free of charge! A big thank you to the Rug Depot owners. I wish every store was like yours. You guys are awesome. JWC did an amazing job with the refinishing of our kitchen and dining room floors. The contractor…read morefor a previous renovation had done a poor job with the floor and then vanished. We had originally chosen a black stain so Jackson and his team were facing a difficult challenge to completely remove the old stain and start from scratch. After completing multiple sandings, Jackson's team gave us numerous samples of new stain and finish so we could visualize the result and choose the best option. We went with a modified oil ebony stain and water-based satin finish. The final result was amazing. We got just the right amount of grain coming through the dark stain and the satin finish gave the floor a stunning elegance. Jackson's team ensured everything was well protected with plastic sheeting. They also brought in a heavy-duty fan to speed up drying and remove any smell - we hardly smelled anything in the rest of the house during the staining and nothing from the multiple coats of finish. Jackson also kept us informed throughout the 9 day project. I would strongly recommend JWC. They may be on the higher end of the price range but worth every penny when you really need your floors "done right".
