We called because our 1 yr old GE Profile front loading washer is leaking from the back of the…read moremachine. The first time he came out, we were told the machine needed a software update and was charged roughly $250. The machine was still leaking after he left, so we called again because that clearly wasn't the issue. The 2nd time, the damper was replaced, charged more money so now we're up to $375+. Well guess what, it's still leaking. Called a 3rd time, they came out again. Well this time, they told us "sorry nothing else can do call GE". So now we've been charged ALMOST 400, still have a leaking washer and told to call GE because there was nothing else they could do. I asked for service records to be sent showing those other issues existed and was told they'd be sent to my email, to this day never sent. When calling GE customer relations, the rep there couldn't believe the amount of money we were charged and when she called the appliance repair company, she told me their notes say "could not duplicate the problem". Absolute insanity and a lie. There's a puddle of water currently on my laundry room floor, there was every time he came out, we're out almost $400 and I have no records as I was told they'd be sent. They don't guarantee their work, they throw parts at appliances and take your money!
