Do not hire this company! They are just a broker and do not partner with good trucking companies. After getting your money, they do not communicate with the carrier, the carrier was scamming me into excess fees which I told to All Pro and they did not do anything about it. I had to discuss with the carrier myself multiple times. All Pro also had no idea when the carrier was going to deliver. When I was trying to get a better idea, All Pro did not assist what so ever no matter how many texts and calls I made. Carriers they partner with also take 2 weeks from your available delivery date to even think about your delivery. When i was on the phone with the person scheduling the move, i was told $375 for 3 men and 1 big truck for 3 hours , i ran through the list of items i had and was told what a set price. When the movers picked everything up i was told that because i had marble table, a mirror, a marble tv stand and large TVs that they requiered better care and my price suddenly went to $1150. At no point in my conversation with the Lisa asking me what i had did she ask me what my items where made off and what they actually where going to charge extra .... I really wish I had read the reviews before I booked them for two moves in one week. I too experienced surged pricing after the fact. But on both moves, before they left, items and areas were pointed out that had not been packed up. They still left the items behind!! Called multiple times to cancel as they have a 72 hour window ( they still keep 85% of it ). Never cancelled and told " too bad, use us or lose the entire amount". THE worst costumer service EVER! Two days before the move they doubled the price because 20 medium boxes were added. One of the managers named "Erich" told my husband to shut up over the phone. They will not refund our $1000 security deposit. Please don't use this company. It's a scam. They know you are under the gun and probably can't find another mover in 2 days. I shopped around , received many quotes , went with all pro .. $79.00 per hour , three men and a truck . The men were polite , worked hard wasted no time . Unfortunately almost every box we packed required additional taping to ensure no damage ..they reboxed so much it was astounding. They explained upon ARRIVAL they didn't move electronics ( we had three flat screens ) no art work no plants etc . However if I paid to have the items crated and wrapped they would move them .. The original quote was under $1000 and to my surprise after almost 9 hours to pack and unpack the truck ( I moved 8 miles from a three bedroom condo to a 4 bed single family ) my final bill ...$2600!!!! Oh it also had to be CASH !!!! Oh and the next day when Comcast arrives to install cable .. one of the flat screens was damaged ( cells in center of screen as result of the mover lifting tv up and resting it on his head as he carried it ) . I contacted the company immediately.. Two months have passed and I can't even get the claims department to reimburse me for the cost of crating and packing ($200.00) SO Disgusted with the integrity and level of customer service received . There are literally thousands of movers in the state ... I assure you NO ONE I know will EVER hire this company.. Lisa never told me how much more would be included in travel or packing. OR that we would have to pay IN CASH. Also, they make you sign the invoice before they unload the truck so what are you going to do? With that being said, they guys that did the moving were great. Very happy with Ralph and the moving team. They were on time, friendly and helpful. Still "in process" but they seem to be wrapping the furniture well and generally respecting everything. Five stars here. Two stars for "central"... When getting a quote we were told by the phone agent that they did not do packaging; to which Ralph's response was "actually we do packing all the time!" (We've also been told that agent is no longer with the company.). So we ended up having to book a separate company to help pack, which was more work for us, more expensive overall, and left our goods uninsured (not that we've found any issues - yet - but still an unnecessary risk). Also, consistent with some other reviews, our end price ended up being about 50% higher than the original quote. Primarily for "packing materials". And they did require payment before they would start the unload (probably because they regularly jack up the price and the would lose their leverage if they got the payment at the end). They accepted the cashiers check for the original quote amount as sufficient to start the unload process while we ran out for extra cash to cover the incremental. So, again, two stars for "central" (the scheduling process and such was fine). So quite happy with the movers, but think their business model has a distinct "go in low to win the business, and stick them later" element that I'm sure is by design. In the end they were roughly equivalent to many of the other quotes we got, but don't think they're gonna be "the affordable option"!!! read more

I have used ALL Pro Moving service last week and there multiple issues first they will provide very cheap price initially and then they will bump up and make it double with additional charges when move will happen and you will not be able to trace them back on moving date as non of their customer care line was working on Moving date. Here I am a month after sending my items with their drivers and it still hasn't arrived. At the time it departed I was told that it would be here in 7-10 business days... and then a few weeks later it was expect a call within a week (never came) then another 3-5 days it'll be delivered and as of today, yet another 3-6 day hold to recieve my items. I have been requesting money back from them for now 3 weeks to which they refuse to do. At this point I am not even clear that they haven't just stollen my posessions. This company deserves 0 stars. They are provided by third party brokers, so beware when you talk to movers. The broker that booked All Pro was National Express Moving - do not use them either. They will not call you back after you book with them. All Pro movers showed up a day late despite confirming the Saturday. They did not even call and we had to track them down. They showed up with 2 movers and a Budget rental truck. The 2 movers fought constantly and did not have blankets or tools. Every piece of furniture that they plastic wrapped arrived damaged. The one flat screen TV came in broken. Wardrobe boxes were flattened, boxes marked VERY FRAGILE in red and shown to them at arrival were delivered crushes, upside down and sideways. I had to ask the driver to stop using our antique chesterfield as a ladder - he literally stood on top of it to get other items on the truck. Their operation is simple but sad, they will go over your inventory list over the phone which will calculate your belongings at a smaller then usual size giving you a really low quote (Which in my case they "accidentally" left of the 20 boxes i said i would have) then request your deposit to hold the move. Well 3 days before the move they call to go over actual dimensions and that's were everything changes. All I added was a queen platform bed and that's when they informed me they didn't figure any boxes the first time around, which makes no sense because how many moves are there with zero boxes. Anyways a queen platform bed and 20 boxes double my move size which makes no sense and now my cost went from $2500 to $6500. Plus they added language in the contract about if you cancel within 5 days of the move your deposit is non refundable. So now i'm out $1000 deposit and thankfully i went to an actual reputable company because they also inform you days before you move it could take 21 days to get your belonging compared to the 5 days i was originally told. I wish there was a way to give this company zero stars. Not only do they quote you one price and sound super convincing on the phone that all will be taken care of, but when they finally arrive to your place, your new price will pretty much be twice what you were initially quoted. In addition, they charge a crazy amount of money for crates for your TVs...well, their crates are just old broken boxes which are held together with duct tape. In addition, they cover furniture in these old rags with holes and just duct tape the whole thing. A few people come to help and they are very hardworking and just do as they are told, but the main mover and the company itself is a disgusting money making scheme, and they do not care about you and your furniture. He refused and said he would leave if I didn't want to due it.Then she said a noon arrival would be no problem- NOT TRUE... She called me the day before the move to tell me they could either come early in the am or late int the PM. I explained that would not work which is why I asked her about a noon arrival in the first place... she she said she couldn't help me, I finally get her to put her supvisor, John on the phone. He gets on and tells me he doesn't care what I was told... pick one of those two times or find another mover...knowing full well I wouldn't be able to 1 day before the scheduled move... Lisa also told me that I could leave all of the clothes in the dressers as long as they were wrapped securely... NOT TRUE... Mister Customer Service, Ralph tells me when he arrives that they won't move any of the dressers unless they were empty... When I tried to explain what Lisa said.. He said he didn't care and told his guys not to touch the dressers unless they were empty. As you can read from this account and many others...They are a classic bait and switch outfit... June 3rd, 2021, I had booked All Pro Moving Company for a move from the Greater Boston Area into NYC. Originally when discussing it with the customer service rep they had provided me with a price of just over 2600. The broker who I had dealt with spent no time explaining pricing and broke down what it entailed and had made sure to low ball pricing in order to get the deal done. I had paid the deposit which was much higher than the standard (over 33% of quoted price whereas most would charge 5-10%) which to me is a predatory practice. The company was extremely vague with final pick up dates and times which added a lot more of a logistical nightmare. Fast forward to days before the actual move I had called in in order to finalize dates and they gave me the run around with several of what I assume fictional departments with one person after another passing the buck only to finally get ahold of the manager who was extremely rude and came back with an adjusted quote for nearly double the price. Mind you, this was before the 72 hour cancellation window. I had them called an alternative company and got a quote for less than what was originally quoted and went ahead and canceled the order. Not only was a berated for 10-20 minutes by the manager and their returns people who were well aware of their tactics, they had refused to provide a refund even though their cancellation policy has warranted it in addition the use of abhorrent practices. The manager then called me and not only defended their employee as they were under a great deal of stress due to the move which I assume was so he could avoid a complaint like this, he offered no solution and double down on not returning my money which is against the cancellation policy listed on their website. I am personally distraught by the way I was treated with the returns person yelling at me and belittling me after they had manipulated pricing in order to steal away a large deposit. read more

I echo what other reviews have said: received a quote for $450 for 5 hours. $75 worth of packing was supposedly included - they used so much unnecessary extra tape, it made unpacking a huge ordeal! When I questioned the extra packing charges, I was told I had already run through the included $75 and this was 'extra'. They tacked on an extra $210 altogether for 'stairs' when I TOLD them it was a 2nd floor move AND it was on my original quote; also there was a 10% surcharge - I have no idea what for! Worst part?! The phone representative, Lisa gives you a low quote and then when the movers load your furniture on the truck they double the price- in my opinion they are criminals! I had a few pieces of living room furniture, some boxes and three pieces of outdoor furniture moved-they play the tape game- they wrap everything in nasty old blankets which they charged me $75 for use, they charged $51 for unneeded tape and they used one box to cover glass on a coffee table- charged $32 and listed it as 2 boxes. Once they have your belongings in your truck they give you the bogus bill- you then have no choice but to pay their extortion... I think these people are thieves and should be arrested. I used this company and they contracted another company. Everything went great and I gave them an exact list besides a vaccum cleaner of what was being moved and my quote did not change. I even removed a washer, dryer, and 50 inch tv from the original quote and dropped the amount of boxes and was assured i had pleanty of room to spare for 289 cu feet. Movers arrive and this is where it all goes down hill. Before they do anything and only seeing the living room with the couch and a small dresser and kitchen table they raise the cu ft to 400 which was an extra $500. Emergency number doesnt work for all pro as I get no help and had no choice. Get to the new place and mover refuses to drive in says too small yet it had more room than my last location and he drove in there perfectly fine and i saw an 18 wheeler in the parking lot just a few days prior to them arriving. Then they tell me they will put in storage and give me back $100 to pay for the storage I agree to get it over with. Actually movers refused to drive into storage facility and requested i get a uhaul and they will move my stuff. I agree and get the uhaul then when i get back they tell.me they will only move the couch and I have to do the rest. I am a 100% diabled vet and being asked to move my own stuff after paying 2600 so far for a small move from south dakota to vegas. I do it to get it over with. I then call all pro to get a refund and get told the paperwork said i had more cu feet and thats why the extra charge. I said I had nothing extra from the original quote and had less stuff and eathier you low balled an offer by lying on how much cu ft my list would need even after assuring me there was tons of room for more stuff with what i listed and taking out the washer and dryer on purpouse to get business or the movers are lying about the cu ft increase. Plus oscar the rep for all pro had the nerve to tell me because it was apparent after talking to him I wasnt going to see a refund that if I make a complaint to the BBB or write a bad review I wont get any refund because it was in my contract to not do those things. The first sales representative got the sale but failed to tell me several important pieces of information. No, they are not professionals at moving a piano and don't know what they are doing. Your furniture may make a detour to a warehouse. In a nutshell: overpriced, added additional costs, no communication or follow up, damaged furniture, arrived 1 month after pickup. This was a mover's worst nightmare. Movers arrived 1 day late and 4 hours late the next day, driver was very rude, would not wear mask as requested by condo rules, charged for "elevator fee," workers very unprofessional. Didn't hear from anyone for about 3 days. When I was finally able to get a hold of someone, I was told my furniture including a piano had been moved to a warehouse in Las Vegas and they couldn't give me a date when it would be leaving. Daily calls to All-Pro always put on hold, twice for 40 mins then cut off. I talked to at least a dozen different people and called at least 20 different times. The people who answered the phone didn't know how to answer questions. Three of them told me they had just started working there. Their supervisors were no better. Finally after a month I was told the truck was on its way to Texas. It arrived but movers said they could not move the piano up the stairs. My roommate and I moved from one large high-rise to another, which both required insured movers. All Pro's price was the most affordable of all four companies we considered, so we just crossed our fingers and hoped for the best... and these guys were the best. They adjusted for extra boxes, made an extra stop for my roommate, and even reassembled our beds for a very reasonable price. All Pro Movers from Hawthorne, NJ are NOT honest, liars and cheats. NO exaggeration. Expect to pay 2x the estimate. They will NOT take anything unboxed and sealed. Look to charge extra for whatever without asking. That IS their scam, even charging $4.25 for each roll of cheap tape. Got charged over $100 for tape, despite having taped up myself, they retaped using theirs. They even charged $85, without my knowledge, to use a simple hydraulic lift. They even charged for gas and tolls from their Hawthorne location to my home and back to Hawthorne. Don't be fooled by the woman who takes your info to give you an estimate. Got charged over $2,000 2 bds, 3 end tables, 2 wooden chests, 4 piece outdoor furniture, 2 dressers, and my already taped boxes. Had no living room or kitchen furniture, either. They gave me a quote of $450.00, assured me all employees were bonded and then would not take my furniture off the truck without an additional $350 CASH payment. Three movers did not speak English, nor could they provide any type of identification. Movers gashed my ceiling moving my dresser upstairs and scratched the dresser, ripped my mattress, and gouged my brand new wood floors. I hired these guys to help me with moving furniture I was buying off Craigslist and moving it to my new house in northern NJ. First they going to show up early in the morning, then I got a text saying one of their trucks wa in an accident and could they reschedule for the afternoon. I said fine but had to also reschedule with the people I was buying from. The day of the move half an hour before they were supposed to meet me, they cancelled, saying that because it was raining it was too dangerous for the workers! Now I could understand if it was freezing but no it was in the high 40's and there was no reason why it would have been dangerous! Will never call them again!! Starting with Evelyn who coordinated the details and quickly made me feel that I had made a good decision in choosing All Pro over the competition. I was only moving 6 blocks away but it was still a big deal to me! Then the morning of the move Jay and his crew showed up. They were polite, friendly, thorough and handled everything with extreme care.I instantly felt relieved that I had made the best decision in hiring them.They actually made the process enjoyable! I have had several long distance and in state moves. This was the worst experience. Ralph showed up with two other guys. Ralph was on his phone the entire time. I felt for the other two movers who did the bulk of the work. The move was completed within the estimated amount of time, but for some reason (maybe it was financial?) Ralph added 1.5 hours of labor. He also added an incredible amount of charges for tape, blankets (which were nothing more than rags with holes that must be 25 years old), packing materials, etc. The added charges: nearly $1000. Plus, to make me feel less concerned about being ripped off, they damaged my furniture. If there's any question in your mind about using All Pro, don't worry, don't use them. Move on with some other mover. It probably couldn't be worse than All Pro. read more

This has to be thee absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. I spoke to the so called General Manager John who sounds very rehearsed and barely let me get a word in. All he kept saying is let me speak and then I will listen to you. That never happened. I'm a 60+ year old woman and they told me it would be $450 just to put my stuff on their truck and say the price is $777. They nickel and dime you for everything. I had to pay for them to use their blankets. They didnt tell me I had to have everything in boxes, so whatever i had bagged they put in a box and charged me for the box and the tape. One of the movers dropped my table and put a hole in my floor and John had the audacity to say they dont cover flooring, doors and railings. I asked what does the insurance cover and he said stuff over .60 cents per pound but not flooring. This is a prime example of taking advantage of a senior citizen and i hope this place goes out of business. All Pro Moving just moves money from your hand to them.
