He seemed like a great guy and didn't have all the parts he needed in the van so offered to come back the next day - no problem. He came back, completed the "repair" and was paid $350. When I contacted the gas company to have the gas turned back on they came out inspected the work that was done by Joe and alerted me to the fact that the repair wasn't done to code and was a safety hazard. As a result, they could not turn the gas back on. I called Joe and he said he would be back the next day to fix it correctly...and the next day came and went...unfortunately didn't hear back from him.
