I called Anai to asked if she would come to inspect one of my rental properties, little did she know I had already had the roof inspected by another accredited roofing company. To make this review short, I was so blown away by Anai's humbleness, knowledge, professionalism, honesty, and willingness to serve. She replaced one of my metal caps that was missing (sent me before & after photos), even after I had informed her that I was also talking to another accredited roofing company. It just so happens that she actually knew some of the people who worked at this company, and had nothing but good things to say about them. She however did not know the person who was helping me out personally, but she ensured me I was in good hands due to them working for this company. At the end I was so blown away, and torn in between the two companies. That same day I reached out to the second accredited company rep to let them know Blue Hammer had come out to inspect the property. They were honest, encouraging, but above all they were patient with me. To say they "do it right" is an understatement, and was obvious when they pulled the old roof off which was shoddily done on a home that is barely 5 years old. (Shame on today's builders.) David and ARS are phenomenal…read more After a hail storm came through and damaged my roof, garage door, and several other pieces of my home, I called him, and he and his team were out to help get started on stuff within a week. He was able to function perfectly as a general contractor -- he has connections everywhere to cover every single thing that you could possibly need done, and he handles it all. He also was able to guide me through the insurance process, including when my adjuster was being difficult (but that's another story). In any case, no matter what work you need done on your home, I would highly recommend you contact David and ARS to get it done. 3 months later, I still hear some of my neighbors getting their roofs repaired, and as far as I can tell, they're not doing as good of a job. His crew was fast, efficient, and respectful. I'm not sure what other great things I can say about ARS. There were literally no negatives in this experience for me, which is rare -- I love to provide a balanced review, but in this case I literally can't think of a downside to calling him.

You could take your chances with a random Google listing, or you could call Buford General Contractors and get real professionals. Our job was a complex one. Our house is 40 years old and was suffering considerable wood rot on the deck that had spread into the side of the house. This caused not only a rickety, rotting deck, but water leaks in the house where the wood had rotted through. Not good! What started as a simple deck resurfacing turned into a complex job involving rebuilding the deck stairs, ripping out the old rotten wooden deck surface, replacing it with more durable surfacing that was resistant to rot, and this is the most hairy part.....finding the source of those water leaks and stopping them. One great thing about Buford is that they have great relationships with local subcontractors. If something is not their specialty, they have a Rolodex of numbers they can call for vetted, quality contractors to assist. This job required many specialties, and they coordinated with specialists to give us a great job done the first time. When big storms came after the job and there was still some leaking, they had a man onsite that day who quickly identified the source of an additional leak coming from rotted trim boards above the deck. This was very good and totally not their fault, as the trim boards above the deck were not part of the deck resurfacing, stair rebuilding and wood rot remediation of the deck itself. The price for this additional work was more than fair and it was done quickly and professionally. Seriously, if you live around Grapevine, Southlake, Colleyville or HEB, call them. They were always prompt, professional and reasonable. Not too expensive and not too cheap. You get what you pay for, after all.
