We called Sean from Brick & Stone Master & he came out to quote our project. At the time they were 4 to 6 weeks behind because of weather. When they were ready to come out weather was still a issue ( rain ). They had about 2 or 3 days to lay the brick before next rain storm moved in. The project did not go well. I contacted Sean & Bill to come out to see how it could be resolved. Their solution was to start all over again since the project was not done correctly the first time. Bill over saw the project himself to make sure all was done correct which it was. We hated it had to be done twice at a his loss but he said whatever it took to make the project right & for us to be happy. He even on top of that provided us with a discount for our trouble. Experienced water intrusion on window sills. A very reliable roof company confirmed the problem was loose mortar around the windows NOT the roof. Matt submitted a very detailed Plan to Water Test, Cure, Water Test again and Water Seal. Very impressed with how THOROUGH and professional this company worked to complete each phase. In addition to the original scope we had a dormer window removed, and bricked over to match our existing stone. The grout and stone matched our existing perfectly. Also had all the windows re-caulked. Big job. Dug out old caulk first, then applied new caulk. This was our second Project with Matt. My house is over 30 years old. It has a series of planters along one side. Over time, they had pushed away from the house and lost several bricks. While working on our street, The City of Frisco knocked over and damaged our brick column mailbox. Without asking, The City repaired the column mailbox with brick and mortar that didn't match, and the workmanship of the City's repair was poor quality. Our mailbox had been incorrectly built and the stone was crumbling and the insert was broken and loose. I found Brick and Stone Master by chance on the internet and Courtney helped assign a Project Manager (Matt) with excellent communication skills who sent a bid with two options on how to repair. We picked the option that would salvage some of the stone and they repaired the mailbox in just a few hours, making it look brand new. We contacted several companies to get bids on an outdoor grill cabinet. Brick and Stone Master won us over with Courtney. She was very nice and informative over the phone. Sent photos of the crack and asked for a bid. When they came to inspect they discovered a crack in the stone around the corner that I had not even noticed along where the stone aligned with the brick. Got on the schedule and the work was done in one afternoon. The mortar match is great. You can't tell where the crack was and it went from top to bottom! Highly recommend! read more
