Woke up one morning, and thought we definitely need to get our windows cleaned so I contacted several businesses and Golden State window responded within 15 minutes. He said he had a slot open for late afternoon and the price was so fair and reasonable. I couldn't refuse. Jose and the crew came out cleaned 33 windows inside and out including scrubbing, wiping and vacuuming the inside tracks. We were so pleased with the service, we decided to go with Jose and replace all 33 screens as well. He even installed metal tabs so we can easily lift the screens out as needed. The job began on Wednesday and was completed by the following Monday. I actually got a call back three days later from another company, but they were too late. I don't know who came up with this idea. You just do it. 3 estimates later, it was decided that Brentwood Painting would get the job. Ron and I chatted over a few days and we scheduled the job right away. He was friendly, informative and prompt throughout the process. The first week (Christmas week), they started on Tues and worked through Weds. The second week, they painted on Tues and Fri. The third and final week, they arrived on on a Weds (today) and finished up with the master bedroom. In all, the entire house (2600+ sq ft) took 5 days. Normally, it would have all been completed within a week, but with it being Christmas and New Years... and after encountering scheduling conflicts on both ends, the job was spread out over several weeks. I appreciate that. The crew of 2 (Ron plus 1) worked diligently and were very organized. There was no mess.... anywhere... and no paint was spilled. Great crew. I even felt at ease coming and going while they were working. If you've ever had any work done to your house, you know what I'm talking about.
