TL;DR: The 5-star rating Tri-Valley Roofing has is well-deserved. They're courteous, fast, and very responsive. When I eventually need my roof and gutters replaced, they'll be the first ones I call. Full: My insurance company is one of the ones trying to ditch California, and gave me an ultimatum for non-renewal unless I had the roof treated. Of the 3-4 companies I reached out to, Tri-Valley Roofing was the fastest to respond and get someone out to do an inspection and estimate. They didn't try to oversell me on anything and provided plenty of pictures detailing all the repairs and maintenance they would recommend when they did their estimate. Moreover, they were flexible in making sure that I could get the project done in time so I could get the necessary proof to the insurance company. During the project, when an issue came up about one aspect due to a misunderstanding (e.g. who was responsible for painting after dry-rot repair on the chimney), they went above and beyond to resolve it and took care of it with no additional cost to me. Last these guys were pros when it came to providing the necessary documentation to the insurance company, all the invoices, receipts, pictures, et al. Happy to say that my policy was renewed (one less thing to stress about), and they extended the life of my roof for probably another 10 years. Thank you. read more

We just had our roof and gutters replaced by Tri Valley Roofing, and I cannot recommend a business more emphatically than this one. We initially just wanted to assess needed repairs for our 36 year old tile roof, but we learned there was hidden damage we didn't know about. Our project manager Brandon took tons of pictures showing problems that needed fixing, and provided us information about doing a roof replacement. The quote was significantly less than what we thought a new roof would be, and was very transparent in what we should expect. We were scheduled for the install, but we were contacted about moving the project up due to possible bad weather. The tear off contractors arrived as promised, and they had the whole tile roof off in about three hours. The next day, the roofers were here, and completed the install in two days. The last day was the gutter contractor, completing the whole install in one day. Every day ended with a complete site clean-up. Both Ryan and Brandon came by to check on progress and answer questions. Catherine and the other office staff were great to work with, answering inquiries quickly. Although I had to wait two months before they could start working on my house due to their work schedule, but I'm glad I waited because they, I think, did a great job. The job wasn't small and it took 2 and a half days to complete, with 4 people on the first two days and 2 people on the last half day. The repairers showed up everyday at 8:00am sharp as they told me; and worked nonstop except for having lunch. When they completed the job, they made sure everywhere was clean and pickup all the trash. I reached out to Ryan and he was at my house the next day to assess the damage and give me an estimate. Ryan from Tri Valley was very professional and explained what he thought would be the best solution to this long-standing problem. Both his professionalism and the obvious time he invested in making such a detailed proposal made him the obvious choice for the job. Everything else was great: good communication, scheduling, fast work, good crew and a job well done. We had a few areas of the eaves and the roof that had developed dry rot over the years. We got bids from 3 roofing companies other than Tri Valley Roofing, and it quickly became evident that our best bet was Tri Valley Roofing. The primary reasons for our choice were as follows: 1. The owner, Ryan, came out to provide the estimate. With the exception of one other roofing company, he was the only one that went up on the roof, thoroughly examined the condition of the roof, took pictures of the areas that required work and shared them with me. 2. Ryan's written estimate was comprehensive, detailed and competitive. 3. My interactions with Ryan and his staff proved that we were dealing with a very honest and professional business. After we signed the contract, it took about a month and a half before they could begin the work due to their schedule, but it was well worth the wait. They fit us in a few days earlier than promised and completed the work in about 2 consecutive days with a crew of 4.
