P.R.I. Roofing repaired our attic fan and everything about their service far exceeded all other companies we contacted (three total). They estimated the work for free, and in-person. Jairo was on time, friendly, and knowledgeable. The estimate was significantly less than the other companies (which were all over the place in terms of cost) and very much in-line with the price range that came up in my online research, so I felt confident I was not being taken advantage of with Jairo. They were the ONLY company to send me the quote in writing (email) along with their business license and insurance information (without me asking). I was able to approve the quote electronically and set up a day and time that worked for both of us. Communication throughout the whole process was timely and professional. They showed up on time the day of the work, it took a bit longer than expected because the old fan was tough to remove, but they continued to work with a smile (late on a Friday afternoon) and did not try to charge a single dime over the written estimate. First off let me say that Roofing removal and installation is a dirty, messy project. There is constant noise & debris everywhere. The crew of Premier Roofing did an outstanding job at cleaning up everything every day - including a magnetic sweep to pick up any stray nails. The estimate, while not the absolute cheapest, was very very detailed. Knowing nothing about roofs, it included specifics of all aspects of what a roof entails and what they planned to replace. Any repairs during the process were of course charged additional prices. But they really kept that to minimal charges - mostly at cost of materials. The owner (Aggy) had a very positive can-do attitude to make sure we were very happy with the end result - which we are. He answered all concerns & questions. Additionally (adding to the complication), we had old SOLAR panels that had to be removed. The subsequent re-installation of new panels had to be coordinated with the Solar company so the mounts were properly sealed. They were very accommodating. They removed the old panels then coordinated directly with the SOLAR installer to arrange and schedule everything - something we really didn't want to coordinate. It was smooth sailing. We highly recommend using this company for your roofing needs. Honest, efficient, reasonably priced, and friendly company. read more

After my research and quotes from many contractors, I hired PRI Roofing for my roof replacement and skylight installation. The quote was competitive, the price was right, the responsiveness was top notch along with their 20 years warranty of both materials and workmanship. And the work started within a week - because they would do contract only when they know materials are available - which is good thing with no wait time. Aggy was awesome and kept us well-informed throughout the process. In fact he also suggested how the overall look of the house may improve by few changes in fascia which actually would cost lesser than replacing some rotten wood blocks on the roof. For anyone interested in gutter cleaning service, PRI can provide it to you for a premium price. Below is a quote we received for several services (note: any typos are copied and pasted directly from the email and quote we received from PRI business owner, Agapito "Aggy" Chavez-Reyes): SCOPE OF WORK: 1. Clean rain gutters and dispose debris properly. Rinse gutters and downspouts with water: $1,421.00 2. Remove roof tiles from roof valleys and set aside in safe manner to be re-install later and remove debris under the valley rood tiles and dispose of properly. Reseal one hip and ridge roof connection with lead flashing. 3. $ 1,085.00 4. Remove vertical 2"x4" chimney trim and install new one $ 638.00" We knew inflation was bad, but we didn't expect them to be through the roof. PRI's prices seem astronomical compared to other gutter cleaning services in the East Bay Area (we got another quote for $280 in January 2023). When we asked if it was possible to price match, Aggy responded, "PRI Not Negotiate the cost on our work. But if the company that charge you a $280 match my scope of work, I will pay them the $ 280 for you! With only one condition. I need to see they do what I have in my scope of work and check their WC and lability insurance." We have to wonder if the cost of liability insurance went up by 500% for PRI to charge $1,421 for someone to climb up a ladder and scoop out leaves from our gutters. The 3 stars is for the responsiveness of Aggy and his staff. PRI eventually refunded our $120 deposit after we expressed dissatisfaction with the low-resolution photos of our roof taken by Aggy during our initial estimate/10 minute consultation. Unfortunately, none of the aerial photos revealed details of the debris in our gutters, as they were captured from a low resolution camera on a drone hovering tens of feet above our house. We probably could have acquired the same view of our roof from Google Earth. Several photos had hand-drawn blue markings, with no captions or elaboration. It was not clear what needed to be improved and why those areas were marked. Needless to say, we decided not to ask PRI to clean our gutters or do any work on our roof/chimney. We assume PRI must be providing great quality services to remain in business and receive 5-star reviews. Hopefully this review helps others save time and money in the future! read more

The work was done quickly, and everything was cleaned up as if no one was ever there. After a very long & taxing experience with a solar installation gone wrong, we hired Aggy & team to help us re-roof our entire roof. Throughout the entire experience we were impressed with the professionalism, knowledge, and quality of work. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a re-roof or roof repair. Aggy came to me as one of three contractors recommended by the tile industry association in our area. We bid the work to all three (+two other high yelp reviewed contractors) to develop a proposal to help fix or replace our roof after extensive damage + leaks caused by poor solar installation. All of them agreed that a full re-roof was required, but Aggy stood above the rest with his competitive bid but more-so as the only contractor that was willing to propose a process for him to warranty the work after the solar panels were re-installed. He was flexible with timing as we worked through insurance and was able to prioritize completion of the work prior to the rain. We really appreciated his ability to squeeze us in after months of postponing the fix. The installation looks great, all concerns were addressed as the install progressed and the crew was professional and ensured our yard was picked up every day without issue. Aggy himself came by to review progress every 2 days or so, and went above and beyond to ensure we knew what was happening and any decisions he required. They were proactive in recommending improvements, diligent in ensuring the highest quality underlayment and materials were used to allow the 10 year workmanship warranty. The team was great about follow-up, painted all the hardware on the roof to match, helped work with our interior contractors to set new skylights, and upgrade a couple problematic gutters. The crew was also good to re-inspect the roof prior to the first rain to ensure no issues as the seasons changed. As with most roofing companies, this one stands in the same line. High fees, poor service, and lots of extra added costs once the inside of your house is exposed. Our new roof leaks in places the old one never did. The skylight now has issues, when it was fine before. And, the neighbors are still upset with us over the mess they left. As I will likely outlive this roof too, I will definitely be looking elsewhere for all my roofing needs - residential and commercial. read more

I am giving my honest feedback on this company. I am not swaying anyone that reads this to "not go with them" or "to go with them", my review is solely based on my own personal experience and unfortunate situations along the way prior to final completion and final payment. From the start, I researched many established roofing businesses for a quote and got many bids. Premier Roofing was not the cheapest but they were not the most expensive. I liked the guarantee's that were integrated within the contract and I felt somewhat "secure" when I read the contract in-depth. I am a single older woman that owns her own home and this investment of $15K was huge for me at least, so I wanted to be sure that I do my due diligence. I met with Aggy (owner) and signed the paperwork to get the job going. Due to weather issues, the start date was pushed back a little but weather can't be controlled and I was impressed they were considering this issue to give me the most optimum weather for demolition and construction. The roof got done relatively a lot faster than I initially thought it would take, making me a tad apprehensive of what was missed. Once they claimed they were through, I went through on my own and did a walk-thru. I was shocked, there were many areas that appeared very sloppy to me. And then there was detail work that was just a mess. Nails left poking out through the eves, the wood cracked as nails protruded through the eves. And a valiant attempt was made by their painter to fix them, but no finesse was used at all. It was obvious even to me, that putty was needed to patch up the holes, then sand over, and only then paint. The guy just took a brush and dabbed paint over the nail. Then the trim around the flashing was cut crudely where it appeared scissors were used, but Aggy explained that it was needed to give expansion I believe he said. I insisted they use a patch to go around all corners so no water can seep in over time. Then the flashing was too short and the edges were turned up with no consistency of any finesse. Aggy said that is to keep the water off the fascia boards but again, it was so sloppy and inconsistent... it wasn't the same all the way around, higher on the ends, lower in the middle, all the detail work was sloppy at best. Then they made a pretty substantial hole in my brand new stucco they did NOT tell me about, I had to find it! Shocking! They bent all my gutter guards to making them basically useless as you cannot "unbend" them, once bent to that degree, they are shot. Again, I had to find this horror out myself, no coming forward with info to me as the home owner. Then they threw away one whole section of gutter guard and again, did not tell me. I could see the whole section missing! Long story short, after seeing their painters work, I refused to work with their painter and insisted they get a quote from my painter and we take it off the bill. Aggy in the end, did agree to this arrangement. I paid my painter direct, Aggy agreeing to my painters quote. Aggy also took money off for the gutter guards in exchange for charging me for dry rot, it was a wash to them. I was able to get a patch job on my stucco contractor at no charge thankfully, so no need to penalize them. I had to buy all new gutter guards, the old ones they bent were beyond repair and could not be reused per the gutter professionals I called. I didn't make them pay for the entire bill but with them giving me some money, it helped somewhat. Sadly, it got ugly as I had to fight tooth and nail to explain my disappointment and frustration. In the end, I finally got the issues fixed, but it was exhausting, very emotional, and totally draining. The big sell from Aggy is that they are Diamond Certified, not impressed with that at all, but being Diamond Certified I expected true craftmanship and I simply cannot in good faith say that was my experience. I truly don't mean to hurt anyone at Premier Roofing with my honest review. As Aggy and I were amicable at the end but this was my perception, my truth, my reality and I have the right to express what I truly experienced. I'm just glad it's over and again, you do your own homework and go with them or not go with them, I won't advocate either way. Spending that much money on your house to a contractor your never worked with before is always a crap shoot regardless of the fancy words and claims in a contract proposal, or 5- star yelp reviews you read. I will much more selective moving forward with any contractor being sure we click on communication and expectations. It is so very important, and we just didn't have great communication from the start sadly, on both sides. I'm sure they have their gripes about me but I expect the best especially for that amount of money. read more

I originally hired PRI to repair a few roof leaks that occurred after a big storm. PRI responded so promptly and did such a good job that we had them back the following summer to coat our flat roof with a silicone coating. Aggy was prompt, informative, and friendly. His crew did an excellent job prepping the roof, coating it with primer, and applying the finishing layer. They also coated our skylights with protective material and did an impeccable clean-up and haul away. Their quote was also on the low end of those received. The ten-year guarantee was a big selling point for me. We haven't had the chance to see yet if it's honored, but based on the service we've received so far, I feel confident that PRI will be there for us. read more

Our replacement roof journey started out with a visit from Jairo, who is the COO for the Company. He informed us we had a few more years on the roof. We decided to move forward. He came over with his laptop and gave us a very professional presentation about the Company, how they measure for materials, and how they install. He gave us a packet with the presentation and samples of each materials we chose to use. We were impressed. A team of 4-5 installers were very professional and friendly. They had the roof completed in 3 days. They found wood rot on our siding and plan to replace for us next week. We were also very impressed with how clean they left the site each night. I did my initial research for roofers by seeing what contractors were available through Yelp, Angi and DiamondCertified.org. After having a number of contractors come out and assess our needs, we went with PRI-Premiere Roofing Inc which is owned by Agapito Chavez Reyes and listed in the DiamondCertified.org website. The interesting thing is he didn't need to come out to the property to make the assessment but used technology to give me a detailed report. I was impressed by that because it meant that I didn't have to be present and take up my time during the assessment period. When I received the quote, I liked the fact that the unseen additional costs were listed separate from the main cost and was dependent on when the shingles were pulled and a closer inspection of the roof was made as opposed to other contractors that included it in their initial quote and was assuming that 10% to 20% of the base plywood would have to be replaced. I appreciated that a lot and I was glad that Agapito brought me up on the roof so I can see exactly what parts of the roof needed repair without the shingles covering them. The additional costs weren't that substantial and I think that would be a more honest way of presenting your quote to a client. Once I made the decision Agapito came out and inspected the roof. Agapito presented himself as very friendly, honest and very knowledgable about the material, the product being used and is able to answer any questions or concerns I might have. After I chose the shingle, contract signed and initial deposit, a date was set. The project took about 3.5 days with his team cleaning up after each day. The half day was just for finishing touches. They brought their own restroom in a trailer so they wouldn't have to bother the homeowner. I would recommend that the homeowner not be at home during the process because it is a lot of noise. And I didn't find that I had to actually be there because his team didn't need anything from me. Inspection was scheduled for the following week with Jairo, the Chief Operating Officer coming out and doing some finishing touches. The final check was submitted and Jairo took some pictures from his drone and shared them with us in an email. That was very cool because it showed me a wider view of the job that his team had done. All in all I was very impressed with the work. I would recommend PRI-Premiere Roofing Inc to my neighbors, friends and family. Great job guys!!! read more

I needed a new roof and received 5 proposals before I settled with PRI. They were not the cheapest or the most expensive one, but they were the one with the most information on their proposal. The proposal had the brand and specification of everything they put on my roof, including shingles, underlayment, starter, vents, and more. They use quality stuff. Workmanship and roof-leak warranty also beat others. Thanks to the team, especially Aggy who was like a program manager, I was well informed and updated during the whole process. I asked a lot of questions, and Aggy answered them all with details and respect. They have a team of 5-6 people to work on my roof. It took them 5 straight days to complete the re-roofing (the last day was mainly city inspection and taking drone pictures). Every day they cleaned up my yard well and provided me updates. They also fixed my wrong position gutters. After the re-roofing was done, they sent me pictures of my new roof taken by a drone. After interviewing about five different roofers we decided on premier roofing. I'm so glad we did. They were'nt the cheapest but their attitude and guarantees impressed my husband and I. We have a large home and we wanted to re-roof with cedar shakes and they accommodated us with fire proof A-rating. The agreed-upon start date was pretty much held to and When they started the work they were very careful to cover any plantings that might've been injured from falling debris and every night they completely cleaned up all of the area around the house. Additionally when they opened up the garage roof They cover everything with plastic so that nothing in the garage would be affected either. Afterwards they came in and completely remove the plastic and cleaned the floor etc. I would highly recommend this company for their professional attitude and work. read more

Definitely 5 star rating for PRI. I wanted to replace a cracked skylight in the master bathroom. Tried contacting several other companies and some said the job is too small and some just tried to do everything over email. Finally, I spoke to Agapito from PRI and he set up an appointment to come to my house to see what I need done, which is already more than others have offered. He came ON TIME and saw what needed to be done and did not try to sell me on replacing other unnecessary components for the skylight like another company did. His price ended up being hundreds less than the other guys'! Obviously, we went ahead with PRI and replaced the skylight. However, a few days after, I noticed a small crack at the base of the skylight. I contacted Agapito and he came over soon after and said that although the crack came after the initial installation, he'd go ahead and replace it with a new one, NO CHARGE! Today, I got a new skylight with no crack =) If you need any kind of roofing services done, this is the company to call. read more

After calling a few different roofing companies and waiting for responses, my expectations were exceeded with Premiere. From scheduling an inspection throught the office manager, receiving a timely appointment, then receiving a written quote outlining specific work in the work order, and receiving next day service to repair several tiles and leaks during a heavy winter. They are properly licensed and insured, and provide copies to customers. This attention to detail matters and made the experience positive! High marks for good communication.
