It has been more than 10 years since last roof repair by World Exterior. My house is 24 years old. A couple of weeks ago we noted a dry wall in the garage was wet when it was raining. It was dry when it was not raining so I figured it must be the roof over the garage that is leaking. Since World Exterior did a good job repairing a roof leak more than 10 years ago, I called them and Chris came to my house the next day to evaluate the situation. I remember Chris from more than 10 years ago. He is still easy and friendly to talk to. He lifted up the tiles and found the wood was rotten and already had a hole a few inches in diameter!! Chris took pictures and sent me a proposal in 2 days. I accepted the proposal. Unfortunately our area started to rain almost for the whole week. Finally the rain stopped 9 days after and World Exterior crew (Salvador, Jesus, and another worker) came to fix the roof. World Exterior called me that morning to notify me the crew was on their way to my house which is very nice of them. They fixed the roof, cleaned the gutters, and inspected the roof. They cleaned up after they were done which is very nice. They noted some issues and Chris will send me a quote for that. If I need roof care in the future, I definitely will call World Exterior. read more

I wish I could give a negative star. Please do not use this company if you have a high end tile roof to repair. I purchased a house in 2013 and the roof inspection report said replacing a few tiles and sealing a few places. The cost to repair was $1000. I was impressed by the Yelp review for World Exterior and accepted Chris' proposal which promised to do exactly what the roof report said. I paid his quoted price and thought the job was done (the roof is pretty high and I cannot climb on top to verify). Their price was almost the same as quoted by the roof inspection company, but I thought World Exterior was a professional roof repair company and so I hired World Exterior. I trusted wrong. This year I am selling the house. The buyer did a roof inspection. I was shocked to find World Exterior never replaced the broken tiles as written in their proposal. Even worse, they repaired the ridge system improperly, causing damages with an estimated repair cost of $3200. I contacted Chris and asked that I should at least get my money back. After almost a month's phone calls and emails, I finally got the refund. But I still lost over $2000 by crediting the buyer with the full repair amount in the new roof report. How can these people live with a conscience to cheat? If you call their office phone number, they announce that they are licensed professional roofers and you should look no further. They know that my roof is very high and I will not be able to verify their work. So they attempted to patch the cracked tiles instead of replacing them as written in the contract. Window washing at the best possible price! These guys just left and I had to jump on Yelp to give them highest praise! We have a 2-story house with 22 windows and the 3-man team did an awesome job in just under 2-hours. Inside and outside and cleaned all the screens for...get this...$200, no hidden fees. They even vacuumed out all the tracks and wore boot covers. The lead man, Chris, was very professional and his two colleges as well. We had another quote for $400 and that's why we'd been putting this off. Now that we have this contact, this will be a bi-annual cleaning. Oh yeah, they do gutters too! ROOF LEAK REPAIR- These guys are professional and get the job done others can't. Chris came out the same day and even crawled into the attic to confirm the leak. He gave me an estimate and the guys were out to fix it within a week. They too went in the attic, and hose tested to confirm where the leak was coming from and then did the same thing after the repair to ensure the job was done. PREVIOUS ROOF COMPANY- I had another roofing company Wick's who appears to be OOB now, inspect my roof three years ago when we bought our house. He said the roof is in great shape. Shortly after we moved in when the first rains came we had a leak. Over the course of the next two years he was out 3 times to try and fix it and never did. Of course he never went into the attic or did the things World Exteriors did. As it turns out, in my roof inspection he never called out dry rot around the roof where the gutters are b/c there was no metal flange. SUMMARY- World Exteriors are pro's and they will get the job done and charge a fair amount for the work they do. In fact my original quote was for $780 and I ended up getting charged $530. Unfortunately they don't do metal roofs, so ours don't qualify. However, both the guy I spoke to on the phone & Chris were kind and very helpful! Despite being totally slammed with work due to the storms they got back to us and got us into their schedule within the week and on the day that I requested. Chris and his partner came by and did a wonderful job on the gutters. They had bid the mold on the roof over the phone, and when they came out and saw that it wasn't as bad as he thought, he lowered the bid! Very honest. Gutter cleaning at it's best. It was a pleasure to work with George and Chris on my gutter cleaning job. George scheduled the appointment and was great at follow up. Chris and his crew arrived right on time, asked me a few questions, explained what they would do and completed the job in just over an hour. They were kind enough to clean one window on the second story that I can not possibly reach myself. Chris scanned the roof for any issues with our high-profile tile. He found a few cracks and took the time to patch them - sweet! As a roofing company they understand how to walk on a tile roof without damaging it. Paid for roof gutter & downspout cleaning. Think I got the gutter cleaning after two visits. Definitely didn't get all the downspouts cleaned out since they were overflowing as soon as it rained. Took months to get them to come back to discuss the job not done, but never followed up to actually do the work. I had to remove and flush out the downspouts myself. Once again I give them 5 stars! I needed some windows cleaned inside and out on a vacant property. Yes, in addition to being experts for gutters, they also offer window cleaning. George was so helpful and relayed all the concerns I had on which windows needed most attention to Chris. There was a window with a screen jammed against it when the painters were masking the windows and Chris and team fixed it! I didn't even have to be there, I just left the back gate open and left the key somewhere on the property for them to access. They went through and cleaned everything thoroughly and did such a great job. I was originally quoted I believe at about $265ish last year when they helped me with the gutters, but they only ended up charging me $200 even though I had mentioned the quote being about $265. It was for a 2 story townhouse. A truly honest business and they do GREAT work! I will definitely continue doing business with them. read more

I did not know they did roofs so I added that to my first job. Today they did my windows again, including , slider doors, on the entire house and they look great. Booked my appointment with George who was just a delight, and very determined to make sure everything worked around our schedule. Chris and Salvador came right on time, and are two of the nicest guys there are. But nice only gets you so far - their work is incredible! Very hard working crew. We had a really tough job on our walkway to powerwash the moss from it. Salvador left it sparkling clean and went over it twice. Chris was busy scrubbing away at our yucky windows that road construction had left coated with loads of gunk. By the time they left - everything was sparkling clean, everything immaculate - no plants or sills damaged -screens completely clean. On Sunday I noticed water on the floor next to an exterior wall. It has been raining for weeks and my roof was leaking. I called several roof repair companies on Monday morning. All except one call went to an answering machine and those companies never called back. One company, World Exteriors, picked up the phone and I spoke directly to Chris. I explained to Chris that I was in the final stages of renovating my house and the new hardwood floor was scheduled to be installed in days. Chris said he would personally come to my house in a few hours to assess the damage. He arrived right on time and determined the source of the problem: the gutters were clogged with mud and leaves and water had backed up under the roofing. Chris committed to having a repair team to my house that afternoon! Salvador and Sergio arrived within hours. They cleaned the gutters and tore back the roof where the damage occurred. They replaced the felt paper / under layment and replaced the tiles. The job was done by 6:30 PM, less than 10 hours after I first called World Exteriors! They also advised me how to prevent this problem from reoccurring in the future. I will call World Exteriors to clean my gutters periodically. This company is professional and responsive. This company was the most professional I have encountered in over thirty-five years. Their sales rep (Chris) was excellent at evaluating the job and was responsive to both email and phone calls; they met their schedule on the money; their price was competitive and their work was excellent. We have solar panels on our roof so it was a little more complicated than a standard residential roofing job; they finished in three days! John's crew did the work and I couldn't be more pleased. Day 1 had the solar panels and old shingles off and the felt installed; Day 2 had the shingles on; Day 3 had the solar reinstalled (and they mounted my TV antenna base.) Clean up was excellent. World Exteriors provided us with superior service and follow up from the very first call. They showed up on time (one of the few) and provided us with a detailed proposal including pictures, material recommendations and an accurate timeline. Gutter Cleaning done expertly. I called and made an appointment when the weather would be clear. Chris and his assistant arrived on time and explained what they would do. I was pleasantly surprised when one of the technicians got up on the roof and blew off leaves that were still on the roof. They cleaned all the gutters and cleared a plugged downspout. I have used World Exteriors twice now. We have a two-story house with fragile Spanish tiles in a forest. It gets totally covered with tree debris. They do a terrific job cleaning it and cleaning the gutters. It's a big job but they are very reasonably priced. Their guys are always polite and professional. An update of my previous review. In January, George from World Exteriors called back saying that they were backlogged and were finally catching up. He scheduled the visit by a roofer to provide an estimate. We had the estimate for the roof leak as well as sealing all the skylights that we have have. We agreed to the proposal and finally on January 28th, the work was done. Chris Coelho from World Exteriors made sure that the work was done well. Based on the quality of the work I would rate them a 4 star. However, the ordeal from the first phone call on December 17th to finally the work being done on January 28th was not great customer experience. In the future, I would hope that World Exteriors would be better in setting expectations of the customers as to what they can or cannot do in a given time frame. read more

bought a ten-year 2 story house with concrete tiles in Livermore; had valleys, gutters cleaned. guys did a good job by sweeping, blowing after removing the tiles in valleys, however, one ridge roof tile was stepped on and broken during the process; the worker simply put on some glue without notifying me the issue, I discovered by myself, and they replaced the brokem tile later. Otherwise, good work. plus they help remove a pigeon nest (pigeon gas gone). Still recommend the service. read more

World Exteriors did some minor roof clean up and repair sometime in the past so when I had a recent roof leak, I knew just who to call. After a quick look, Chris noticed a Spanish tile had fallen from the second story to the first, breaking about 4 tile pieces and causing an open hole.
