AC Pros has serviced our units since 2017 without any issues. Additionally they installed two new units to replace our 30+ year old units when we purchased this home. The installation of these new units did require scheduling a crane as the units are on our roof. The old units were removed from our property as well. We have them undertake annually maintenance on our AC and heating units. The employees have always been courteous and knowledgeable. Very personable small local company. As it is a small company, sometimes it can take a few minutes for them to get back to you, but they always have a quick turnaround for appointments when compared with other companies in the area. They are willing to work with customers and understand the busy lives of their clients. They are happy to schedule through text message, which works great for when I am running errands or at work and a phone call is not ideal. The yearly maintenance program is a bargain too, even offering emergency service on weekends for the same price of a regular service call, even for appliance services. Most of the low reviews seem to be from others who have a gripe with their own insurance/warranty, but put the blame on the contractor. A/c Pros hires and services locally and does not outsource. AC PROS were selected to repair my air conditioning units in my Lake Havasu garage on June 26, 2023. They are a Kingman company that is 50+ miles from Lake Havasu. They are not associated with any local air conditioning company therefore they travel over 1 hour each way to conduct repair in Lake Havasu. Technicians from AC PROS quickly responded to my work order. An inspection and leak detection was completed within several days and the technicians were friendly and professional. From then they have not been responsive and not available to answerer specific questions about the progress of the repair. Occasionally, I spoke with a receptionist and other times, I either left a message with an answering service or left a voicemail. After being told that they were too busy to check on the parts they ordered for me, I learned that Mitsubishi told them that the parts were unavailable. This happened on July 21, 2023. Then began a process of AC PROS not properly communicating with American Home Shield (AHS) to gain approval. AC PROS finally emailed me, because the claims department was not allowed to talk to me, and told me that new condensers were approved and ordered by AHS. The following day I called AHS and verified that the condensers were not approved and not ordered. There was never any mention of additional work, including line sets, electrical or new pads that were needed by AC PROS. These additional repairs equal $2000 in costs for the repair that naturally are not covered by AHS and my policy. I did briefly speak with Leanne who represented herself as the Office Manager of AC PROS. She was less than interested in hearing about my issues with AC PROS and our conversation was disconnected. She did callback and leave me a message stating that she was out of the office and would call me back on Monday - she never did. This was also after I left a message on Monday, with the answering service, for her to call me. NEVER ANOTHER CONTACT FROM AC PROS. Today, I spoke with the Diamond certified Mitsubishi local dealer in Lake Havasu. They installed these units in 2015 and have conducted maintenance on them. They tell me that line sets are only in need of replacement if they are leaking or extremely old. New electrical lines are not needed and new pads are also not needed to bring the installation to code. Unfortunately, they do not contract with AHS and suggested why a company that is 50+ miles away from Lake Havasu would. Don't do business with AC PROS or American Home Shield. read more

I can say this company is the hardest company I've ever attempted to try and get in touch with. I could probably get in touch with the Pentagon before I can get a live person (not an answering service) with AC pros. If you don't answer the only time they call you back, forget about getting a call back for a day or two. This company is very frustrating. If I could leave zero stars I would. Horrible customer service. When you finally give them the same respect they have given you they block you. They came out to my house 5 times for the same problem. When we called them out a 6th time for the air still not working great, their tech Christopher Blanchet accused me of having a different company come out and mess with the system, he was sarcastic and when I said "it's barely 110" he said actually it is 112. I finally called them out on their mistreatment and instead of verbally telling me please no longer contact us, they blocked my number. They told my home warranty that I was harassing them. But gave me no communication. I do not recommend them to anyone. They have another company here on yelp which is where I put my first review- they claimed it wasn't the same company and requested I deleted it. I am beyond frustrated March 29 of 2023. I had a technician out here Josiah he said my stove needed three parts. He was going to request the parts and I should have a working stove in 7 to 10 days since then I've been waiting...and May 11 they finally came and took the board out of my stove to send it out to get repaired or remade . Two Young men said It would be back in 7 to 10 days here it is June 3 and I cannot get AC pros to call . The warranty people said that they can't assist other than trying to reach A/CPro they won't call them back and it has been since March and it is now June and I don't have a working stove. I'm frustrated I'm angry and don't let AC pros touch your appliances. It's crazy how messed up this has gotten! Someone has the board, someone has an answer but NO-ONE will own up to why this stove isn't fixed! read more

I had a pretty horrific experience with A/c Pros. The office manager Leanne, was very passive-aggressive and unhelpful when I was trying to follow up about the claim A/c Pros was supposed to submit to the home warranty company. When I requested to talk to her supervisor - she completely lost it over the phone yelling things like "I AM THE SUPERVISOR." Her tirade got so bad I had to hang up the phone. Then, the claim to the home warranty company was still not submitted 4 days after the technician visited my home. I call the home warranty company to see what was going on and I found out that I was put on a "no-sell list" and that the company wouldn't perform the service despite already coming to my house and performing a diagnostic. Note: My dad lives with me and has health issues where could die from overheating due to the A/C not working properly. Leanne knew this and still did the following. Being put onto a "no-sell list" isn't a big deal... If she let me know something along the lines of "this isn't going to work - I'm going to request that the home warranty assign someone else to do the work" the day of the confrontation, then I could have worked out a solution so the A/c could get fixed in a timely manner for my dad. Instead - she blocked my number, refused to communicate with me or the warranty company to resolve the issue for about 72 hours, and then she finally responded to the warranty company saying that I'm on a no-sell list and that she would submit the diagnostic today (4 days after the technician visited my house). As far as I know - she still hasn't submitted it. The delay has severely impacted my dad's health since we're in the summer months with a poorly functional A/c. I hope this review will warn people away from this company that hires awful people like Leanne. read more

This company is very hard to get a hold of, they do everything via text message. We had a new AC and air handler installed. It took them several visits before they finally got the insulation done correctly. The technician didn't same like he was sure what to do. I finally had to Google the problems. We were having, we had musty, moldy smell coming through the vents. Turns out there was no angle on the condensation pipe, so all of the moisture and smell was coming into the house, instead of going outside, like it should have. There are two sides to every story and this one needs to be told. A/C "Pros" of Kingman abandoned a condenser replacement job at my house and left me with no central air. You all know how hot it is and will be for the immediate future. Of course there are many details involved and plenty of he said, she saids, but the fact that they left me with no a/c in 100-teen temps is indisputable. Judge that any way you like. There is a local contractor who will be coming out monday to assess the situation and file their report with the warranty company. It will be a minimum of 2 weeks before the job will be completed and my house will continue to roast until this is resolved. BEWARE of a company who will leave a customer without a/c in this weather and close their final email to me with "have a nice day". read more

Zero stars!!! The service from the Kingman office is terrible. The problem with our AC started April 24 and as of today, May 29, we are still trying to get the AC working, and it's a new one ACPros installed! First, they rarely answer their 928 phone number. They only have one place they advertise an 877 number, which is the one that I was able to get someone to answer. They left us without AC in the beginning of a hot summer in the AZ desert. They tell you they are working on your project, just to find out 4 days later that they aren't doing anything because unbeknownst to us we were supposed to be calling the home warranty for a part that we knew nothing about. They are rude and would not explain their process or what the delays were. They had us pay a total of $2600 to them for work not performed and refuse to return it. They would not give us a breakdown of the costs of what we were paying for. One lady even told my husband he didn't send them the money, he sent it to the home warranty. We have the receipt for payment from our bank directly to ACPros because they wouldn't do the work without it. We had to take our dogs to a hotel for a week, then had to purchase a $700 portable AC to come home & sleep in the living room for another 2 weeks. Once job was completed AC quit working one week later & they had us blocked & told the home warranty they won't work on our AC again. We keep good records and have every call documented so our attorney is prepared. I can say their technicians were great, worked hard and they were polite. read more

No stars! The techs who came out to install the part were professional and friendly. The woman answering phones and scheduling Tina Winn is rude and dishonest. The first tech who came out weeks ago did not know what he was doing. We had a working air system that had noise outside. He told us if he removed the fan shroud it would not affect the coolness of the house. After he left, the house temperature began to rise. We called AC Pros back. Tina Winn said nobody was available. We said please send him back he just left, she refused. Because we were upset and have my 90 yr old mom living here, she placated us by telling us several times throughout the day someone would be out. When my husband swore (not at her) she hung up on him. In the mean time the house was reaching 100 degrees. On the final call at 5:00 PM. Tina said nobody would be coming out. I asked for whoever is in charge at AC Pros to contact me. In the meantime we called someone else to come out even though we have a contract with American Home Shield. By 7:00 PM the other person came by and found the mistakes of the AC Pros tech. Thankfully the manager at AC Pros called me as the other man was here he was helpful and apologetic. They worked together by phone at the direction of our guy to solve the problem. We've had cool air while waiting weeks for the permanent part that was just installed. Some elderly friends of ours, have not been quite so fortunate. They have been bounced around by AC Pros and American Home Shield and have endured 3 weeks of NO air conditioning during the hottest time in Lake Havasu City, UNCONSCIONABLE!!! As of today October 1, 2022 they are without air conditioning. Tina Winn makes bad situations worse by her complete lack of empathy, rudeness and unwillingness to assist hot, frustrated, helpless customers. When the customer is frustrated, hot, exasperated and dares utter a cuss word she hangs up. American Home Shield needs to part ways with AC Pros of Kingman and contract with a local competent Lake Havasu City air conditioning company! read more

I cannot express my gratitude enough for the people from this company. Our unit at our vacation home in Meadview was low on Freon due to a leak and we were miserable. I got on yelp to find some help. (I'm a poet on the side.) Blair answered within minutes late on a Friday night and someone was out by morning. They came out and fixed it in spite of the fact that the drive would be a long one. I would definitely recommend them for any of your AC problems. They are very honest and quite knowledgeable. They will certainly get the job done and you can rest assured that they won't swindle you or fabricate a problem that doesn't exist. Last year we went through the same frustration to receive a pre-season check & the woman answering the phones and scheduling was extremely rude and dishonest. It was a serious repair completed with great service professional and clean work. Blair, from A/c Pros just completed the repair on my A/C. He arrived early in the time frame I was quoted. He was quite friendly and professional. And, within an hour, he repaired numerous issues with my system. The repair was covered through my home warranty company, so there was no reason for him to be as thorough as he was , other than personal and professional pride. I would highly recommend his company to anyone needing HVAC service, and pursuant to the info and quote he gave me, will very likely call him for a heat pump installation next spring. Apparently my review for May 2019 was removed. A/c Pros came to my business charged more than I thought they should for the Diagnostics call, which is fine and I agreed to. Then they told me that 1 capacitor and the fan motor need to be replaced. I had just replaced the fan motor and asked why it needed to be replaced. The answer was that when he put his hand on it, it was warm. Hmmm on a tarred roof in the sun operating in May in Arizona and the black paint metal is warm. He then quoted a ridiculous price and said that it might not fix the problem and more would probably need done. I said I would think about it and call some other guys. They replace 2 capacitors and cleaned the unit. year + later still working fine. Still want to know why my original post was deleted. Further update. A/c on my house went out and homeowners ins said I had to use these guys. uuugggghhhh First they stepped on and bent a gas line in the attic. Not their fault they won't look at it. Second they left no paperwork upon inspection. Ins said we had to have paperwork from them. They said they don't keep the paperwork. Let ins know and couple days later they had the paperwork. Third They scheduled the appointment several days after the call for a Friday at 5PM. The house always has someone there. They charged overtime and emergency service fees. results Didn't deal with ins company and paid other guys to fix for less than the out of pocket would have been using the insurance and A/C Pros. hope this is helpful to you read more

Update, had another company come out. Only to find out that AC pro technician. Miss diagnose my whole problem. The problem was caused by he himself when he removed my Freon valve stem and put his machine on lost 3 pounds of my Freon complete joke and the office personnel . Block your phone number does not respond to refund me my money on service contract that I paid for. I don't know. Guess have to take them to court terrible company. Absolutely worse technician. don't know how they can still be in business. Will report them to Better Business Bureau. The right thing to do for AC. Pro would be to refund me my money if they cancel. My service is fine by me but I want my money back I definitely hired the wrong company when I use them, it will never happen again hopefully if they stay in business, they get some new office personnel, who know how to talk to customers. I called my warranty company on a Saturday as the A/C unit on my tenants home wasn't working. They contacted this company who called my tenants and told them they could not come out until the following Monday! This is in AZ where the temp for the weekend was in excess of 100 degrees. My tenants have 2 young children and that is unacceptable. My warranty company escalated this and had this company route a tech out. He was very rude and condescending to the wife. AC/PROS is an extremely professional company. When my heat pump quit working on my air conditioning in Mid July in Golden Valley, Az.. They were fully booked for the day but said they could come out between 5pm and9 pm if that would work for me. I agreed and at around 6pm they called and said they were 10 to 20 minutes away. They arrived in 10 minutes. They checked the heat pump and found the problem with the capacitor immediately. The unit was up and running in about 15 minutes. They answered all my questions with professionalism. I would highly recommend this company to anyone read more
