My A/C failed during the latest hot spell the owner Bill came out due to all techs being busy, at arrival he remembered being at my house over 10 years ago when he was a one-person operation had a nice laugh about that, he discovered the compressor had failed a $6,000 part I was in shock as I had a family member replace the propane system with electric some 4 years ago. Out of being just a great person Bill called the manufacture and discovered the part was under warrantee and ordered it gave me a call the next morning with the great news gave me a good price for installation and was very patient with payment as I was looking for funding this job, Cesar his tech came out when the part arrived for installation What a great Kid I say kid because I am 70 we talked most of the time he was here ( I probably slowed him down some) but he was all good with me (old guy) BSing with him 4 hours later beautiful cold air was flowing into my house again. read more

I posted a very negative review about my experience in obtaining service . The owner called me two days later and apologized effusive, asked what he could do to make things right. He offered to come out (Sat. afternoon) and inspect our a/c unit and give me an estimate/evaluation of the problem. He arrived in less than 30 minutes and went up in the attic. He came back down and advised he had found a broken bracket, which he repaired and reinforced a second connection. He insisted the second trip was covered but the initial service fee, so no new charge. We chatted quite awhile and discovered a number of mutual interests, including being children and followers of our Holy Father. Very affordable and fast. Went all night without heat. I called them in the morning and left a message and they called back within fifteen minutes. They scheduled an appointment for the afternoon. Kerry came out and checked furnace. He cleaned the sensor and charged a very fair price. I will use them again for vent cleaning and servicing. read more

When our former heat pump guru retired about seven years ago, we tried Greenway Heating and Cooling and have been their very happy customers ever since. Every spring we ask for a complete checkup for our two units since the outside temperatures are rather mild that time of year. We started the a/c at the first high temps this summer. No cool air! After a frantic call for help they arrived and found the problem to be an outdated part. The unit is 25 years old. Bill searched his contacts nationwide and managed to locate the part stored in a warehouse back east What luck! The expense of having to replace the unit would have been exorbitant. Not only that, they have to climb into the attic which is hotter than I imagine Hades might be. They come down from there dripping wet without a single complaint. I had a two-year warranty on my air conditioner with another company. I had called Greenway for a second opinion. The company with the two-year warranty here in Kingman told me they would not come out and fix my air conditioner because I had a second opinion. Originally when the air conditioner was in through them someone left the dampers off the air conditioning and we got very sick we were hot and one room and cold in the other. They had to come back and put the dampers on which took 3 hours of my time. I didn't complain but now I am complaining because they didn't want to come back and put freon in. In fact the owner was very rude and hung up on me but first she told me she'd send me a letter stating they don't have to come back because I had a second opinion. I will certainly look further into this I am not happy but I am very pleased that craneway came back and fit me into their busy schedule today and did the right job as the other company was out about a month ago and said everything was okay with it not true it was taking a long time to cool in my home and needed freon. It also needed some other adjustments. Taylor did this without complaining in the heat and it was very very reasonable. Bill and his wife were very kind to get me in today as they know the air was not cooling my home. I don't like to be Hoodwinked and have somebody so rude to hang up when I have a two-year warranty on this air conditioner. Called later in the day and Greenway scheduled an appointment for the same day. Kerry showed up promptly around 5:00 pm after working a full day and figured out the problem in no time and had it fixed in even less time. Kerry was super knowledgeable and even answered all my questions that I had on the repair. Super affordable compared to other HVAC folks in town and really cared about getting our A/C going again. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for an honest HVAC place in town and don't want to hassle with big prices and little knowledge as with some of the other companies I've dealt with in the past.
