At 6:30 AM Saturday, I called Choice Air. They said they'd be there within 30 minutes, and they were. They quickly diagnosed a bad capacitor and had the AC running by 7:45 AM. The service was professional, and after a sleepless night, I was finally able to get some rest. Unfortunately, the replacement capacitor failed around 8 PM that night. I called Choice Air, but they couldn't help because it was the weekend and they weren't available. I also sent several texts with pictures but never received a follow-up. I eventually replaced the capacitor myself, and thankfully the AC has been running ever since. Overall, Choice Air was very professional and responded quickly when we needed help. The replacement part failed, which may have been out of their control. I just wish they had followed up the next day. Still, in a situation like ours, I'd gladly pay $200 for five hours of sleep. I would use Choice Air again.

Once I opened up the wall, I realized I was in over my head. I didn't feel comfortable using a torch inside the wall and did not own the crimping tool for the incoming PEX water supply Lines. I searched for local plumbers on Yelp (on a Saturday afternoon) and requested quotes from several businesses. I received a message from Jommon pretty quickly and sent photos of the new faucet as well as the current state of disassembly in my bathroom. They told me they could give me a much more accurate estimate if they could come by to see it in person. To my utter SHOCK they asked if they could come by on Sunday to have a look! I agreed and we set an appointment. Sunday morning, they arrived promptly. They were both very polite and professional. I showed them my issue and they clearly explained everything that would need to be done and how much it would cost. They were friendly and not at all condescending, which is honestly hard to find sometimes as a woman. At first, I had a bit of sticker shock but later, after thinking for awhile, I reached out to request an appointment on Monday to finish the faucet installation. I am SO GLAD that I decided to go with Jommon! They happily fit me into their busy schedule, they communicated clearly through every step, they were on time, heck - they even let me know when they were on the way so I could put my dog out BEFORE she heard the doorbell! We are senior citizens with health issues and Summer is here and it's really hot, 90+ in the house. In any case, seems Mason and his family all woke up on the wrong side of the bed. He, (and they, on the phone) were rude, curt and had little to no customer service to make any person feel good about the work needed. Mason may have been very good in the past, but he seemed to be grumpy and frankly, not into the job. He tried a quick fix, lasted 3 days. When called back to complete fix, he never even came to my door (I'm in a wheelchair) and when stopped before leaving, he said it could be "awhile" before a replacement part would be installed. He added "he may have one laying around somewhere." That was enough for us. We will now go elsewhere for service. Again, perhaps this company was good at one time, but as seniors, we can not think of much good to say, sorry. When I commented about the heat, Mason said he had been "here for 29 years, and it's always hot." I could see in his eyes, he did not care at all about us. It is hard to say too much about the value here, since we had no choice in the company, and they may be much nicer when not a warranty call, IDK.
