Their ability to coordinate the various "moving parts" is exceptional. They are able to communicate with churches, cemeteries and various family members with ease. 4. In addition to being dismissive and lacking empathy during our initial interaction, Alex failed to follow up or communicate with us after multiple attempts on our part to get clarity and resolution. We reached out several times--by phone and email--and were never responded to. After multiple failed attempts, I was left to physically go into the office to request a status update. I was told by Dan in the office Alex was on vacation. However, moments later, I saw him in the hall. This kind of deception is unacceptable in any setting, but especially disheartening when dealing with a cemetery, where families are already under emotional strain. For the price of a funeral and the grand reputation of Crown Hill, I would expect better. Crown Hill is a beautiful and historic place, but the lack of professionalism, compassion, and accountability from staff has left us deeply frustrated. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the need for better communication, empathy, and responsiveness in working with grieving families.

There was no gravestone or and kind of marker and only knew where the grave was due to the bare spot. When asked the GM what happened they said the fired the funeral director and no one knew this was an issue he was working on. We resend the information and found out in May they misplaced the file and just found it. We spoke to the general manager Dave and he was a jerk to the point that the sales manager Lola had to call us back later to apologize for his unprofessional behavior. We drove up to try to complain in person and they guaranteed to have everything done by 8/15/2025. It is 8/11/2025 and they still have not provided any kind of proof for us to approve before they start even making it. They are unresponsive and unreliable. Save yourself and do not use them.

But when the unthinkable happened my husband quickly reached out to Lou. He told me not to look anywhere else he is someone you can trust. When the moment came all of the details were taken care of and highly organized. Then came the moment where we had to sit with him and discuss next steps. I had no clue but he patiently guided us and made sure every thing was carefully thought of with no rush. His employees were EXCELLENT! From choosing the casket, getting the right image and verbiage for the obituary. Making sure that they had a few pictures of her so that they could apply right makeup and hair style, it was amazing. I'm glad that they had our back. The day of the viewing, the father who led prayers and last rights all amazing. The procession to the cemetery all so beautiful. Lou our family is forever grateful.
