All Saints Lunatic Asylum's updated poster.
    Melody V.

I do not normally watch scary movies, nor do I ever attend Halloween events at any of the major theme parks, but I do enjoy going to the All Saints Lunatic Asylum in Apple Valley. Even my cousins from Los Angeles will drive-up to the high desert to visit me just to want to visit All Saints. I have attended at least once every year for the past 6yrs (not counting quarantine, of course) and just when I THINK I know the maze, something always changes, and that's what keeps me coming back: the curiosity of change with the excitement of fear. I don't know, maybe it is a weird psychological thing, but whatever it is, I know All Saints is fun. Last year, an Asylum patient escaped and she was one creepy little girl. The year before that, some big bloody dude in overalls followed me outside. I am telling you, you never know what Halloween will give you. Inside the building you are greeted by what looks like a vintage office greeted by wicked nurses, but that's not where it begins. It begins when the nurse opens the door for you. In previous years, we entered an elevator. This year we entered the bathroom (stay the right, just saying). With just flickering lights and shadows between areas to guide you through the maze, you get greeted by someone, or something, in every room, sometimes. See! That's what I mean, this place keeps you guessing. A screeching sound, a pounding on the wall, sometimes a doll room, sometimes an empty room, the rooms are different every year. It is insane. And just when you think you are safe in the Giftshop, someone is breathing beside you (I am short and it seems every masked doctor, butcher, patient, witch, are taller than me). Happy Haunting...which doesn't only take place on Halloween. Apparently they have events during Christmas, Valentine's Day, and Easter.

    We had so much fun!

This was a very scary hunted house I really recommend. My kids and I enjoyed it a lot.

Can a haunt be charming? The All Saints Lunatic Asylum is designed with such love and attention to detail that I wanted to linger and see everything. Located at the edge of desert in a small strip mall, The All Saints Lunatic Asylum does a great job of providing Halloween fun for the whole family. This is not hard core maniacs chasing you, this is walking through an intricate maze and experiencing various well designed environments and actors portraying different storylines. Make-ups and costuming is very good. It costs 10$ if you purchase online, 13$ if you pay at the door. They accept credit cards with a 30 cent charge extra.

The best and scariest that we went to this year. Highly recommend. Literal fear in some of the rooms.

After Game 7 of the World Series, we went to check it out. All I can say is . . . WOW!!! I cannot even begin to describe how unbelievable this experience was. It was like a carnival with moving parts everywhere. I can't imagine the time spent to assemble (and disassemble) this amazing display. The tunnel with the spinning lights was crazy! I felt like I was swaying from side to side. You could spend hours here just admiring every little detail. It is absolutely AWESOME, and you should make it a point to stop by next year! I believe they open up their home every year for two days only (October 31 and November 1). How lucky were we that we got to witness this spectacular Halloween display!!

Address below: 8900 MCCARTY RD CORONA CA 92880 I arrived about an hour early, the road I was led down had very little signage. I went straight into the paintball area and waited for about 45 min. Didnt see the crowd dwindling so then I circled around again. I was able to spot the Fear Farm sign a bit hidden. I parked and got down. I walked up and there was a long line to get in. Scare actors were interacting with guests in line. It took about 50 min to get my ticket scanned. I finally was scanned in and took my pictures near the entrance. They have about 3 vendors. I saw some artwork ones. It's 2 mazes, a haunted hayride and a zombie experience. 1st maze was predominantly clowns. pretty large maze, didnt get scared in this one but I liked the detail. Second 1 looked like a haunted house. This one was way more intricate and way more scarier. They got me good a couple times. Haunted maze was definitely different. I stood in line and spoke with one of the maze hosts, she advised me that they just opened. Friday 09/27 was their first day. They went from a 2 acre space to 20 acres. They were still working out some kinks. I got on the trailer bed. The hayride is being led by a jeep. The ride takes you for a bumpy one. old abandoned vehicles and building and scare actors run after the jeep. Very cool. Felt like a movie set. Now the zombie experience I didn't do. Before we entered we had to sign a waiver. I was notified that the zombie experience and essentially you are playing capture the flag. They can run after you to get your flags. And you can view in live footage on the outside. If they get all your flags they can punish you. That didn't jive with me but interesting concept. Overall really enjoyed my time here. They do have kinks to work out. I'd be interested in attending once they work them out.

My fiancé was visiting from Iowa and my friends and I live about 1.5hrs away. While driving I received a text 17 minutes before that the experience was canceled due to technical difficulties. Were we annoyed that we drove 1.5hrs for no reason and wasted valuable, precious time? Yes. However, I get it, things happen. In an email they sent me, they had asked if we'd like to reschedule or get a refund. I asked for a refund. I have emailed them on 4 different occasions. The phone number on their website is disconnected so I couldn't get through to anyone. To spend $320 and not even get one single reply is ridiculous.
