I don't live in Arlington but drove into town looking for a fireplace store. The business I was looking for has since gone out of business. So I stopped in All Seasons. I described my problem with the old fireplace (28 years old) showed him a photo. I was concerned about tearing out some nice river-rock stone work. He said he just did a similar job and it turned out great. He quoted me a price on a new unit and assured me the whole install would be great. What a jerk. I recently got ten years of disability pay and decided to treat myself to a hot tub. The guy in the showroom ignored me for a few minutes. Then when I asked if it was the smallest hot tub he had, he said it would be six months to build it, wouldn't sell the showroom model and it was just under $7,000. When I said "wow!" He said "I guess this isn't the place for you. Have a nice day." On my way out, I got a message on my phone, so I was sitting in the empty parking lot to reply and he came over to my vehicle to say there's no loitering. I could have bought everything in his entire showroom, but he was judging me by my soccer mom van and muddy boots..... Good news is I found a similar hot tub online for $3000 and free shipping! I was not a customer at this store, I was at the coffee stand by his business when he came up to my car to confront me about being in the alley. I had never been to this area before and he raised his voice and grew increasingly hostile while I was trying to figure out what to do. He treated me like I was an absolute idiot even though if I had done what he asked me to do I would have been blocking another car from exiting through the alley since it's a one lane road. Very unprofessional (talked to Mike), pretty rude and condescending. I called today to see if they had the chemical I need in stock. The other shops near me are all out of stock and I need this chemical ASAP to start up my tub. Mike answered the phone and I asked if they sold / had in stock "Leisure Time Sodium Bromide that is the 99.9% bromine formula". Mike acted confused, I explained that it is the powder chemical and it's bromine. He asked if it was chlorine / dichloride and I said no, we need bromine. Then he told me "well babe I've been doing this 30 years and you're wrong about that chemical". Then hung up on me. A simple "no I'm sorry we don't carry that" would have sufficed but instead Mike decided to make me sound like an idiot and that I don't know what chemical I'm looking for. Mike - we have a saltwater Clearwater tub, which your company also sells. The manual clearly states what chemicals we need. If you'd like to see the manual to understand what chemical I am talking about I'd be happy to bring it in to you. Maybe next time instead of acting like the customer is an idiot just be courteous. I have been here twice in the past 2 years and owner has been rude both times. We thought we'd give the place a second chance, since it's the only hot tub store in the area, but his behavior was the same and worsened. He is the only salesman on the floor, and he kept leaving us so that he couldn't answer our questions. He'd also mumble off answers and got irritated as we attempted to compare pricing between two hot tubs. When making an expense of over $5k, you'd think he would be wary of a customers need for information. I finally decided to walk out when I asked where the cup holders sat on a design he was showing on a pamphlet and he responded with a sigh and looked away saying "Jesus Christ". Owner is unbelievably rude. We have been to the store twice now and both times we drove away wondering how they stayed in business. The first time we went, it was right after opening and we were ushered back out of the store being told that his wife was sick, that he didn't want us getting sick also, and told a couple other places to go instead. The second time we went, today, was also near opening hours and we were wondering if they also sold pellets to go with the stoves. He said that he didn't carry pellets, to which we replied that it was odd. My wife and I recently purchased a hot tub from Mark at All Seasons and have been more than happy with our experience there. While we did have to wait for a while to get our tub due to production issues at the manufacturer because of COVID, purchasing, delivery and installation went very smoothly. On top of that, they gave us a great price on our purchase. They have a good selection in store to look at to help make your decision easier and Mark was always happy to answer any questions we had while deciding on what to buy as well as providing updates on when we could expect to get it delivered. Went into this store looking to view and potentially purchase up to 5 wood stoves. We were looking for one wood cook stove which they didn't have. We asked the man who was working and he brusquely said he didn't carry them and walked away. Another customer volunteered that there may be someone in another town who restores them. We then asked about wood heating stoves for small cabins and he threw his arms open and said "That's what all these are!" Yea, duh. How about a recommendation of what would be appropriate for this square footage or that. Got a little frustrated and said something about him not wanting our business. He got very verbally assaultive and essentially threw us out of the store (as we were leaving) and yelled at us to not ever come back. Frankly, I'm shocked that this place is still in business. They clearly have zero concern for customer service or making sales. Mark Spencer does NOT want your business. The reviews about him and his approach are correct. He doesn't know how to listen when being questioned about products. If you call and ask him questions he is irritated and acts as if you've done something wrong. Seems I really pissed him off because I used my own electrician instead of his that was charging $2,000 more than all other bids. Seems odd for the same amount of work. Upon calling Mark to get a footprint of my clearwater spa ordered in February, he process to tell me that I can come get my money for my hot tub I paid for in cash because he doesn't want to deal with me. WOW! He was mumbling something about the fact I probably wouldn't get the tub anyway because Clearwater can't get materials. Was this his way of informing me how terrible the company is that he represents. He doesn't even like Clearwater spas corporate and talks crap about them. Acts as if they owe HIM? He didnt just tell me to come get my money, he was ranting and yelling at me on the phone SO much that I had to hang up on him! It was obvious he not only was crooked about the deal from the beginning, he was getting a cut from the electrician as well. Mark is a self professed chauvinist, hot headed, terrible salesman with literally NO respect for the human race. Mark Spencer did literally say to us his favorite coined phrase, "I don't care about your business, I only want your money." Clearwater spas is also a terrible company, DO NOT PURCHASE! They moved their manufacturing to Arlington, they have zero customer service and never approached Mark about not receiving my order. I will continue to report and review Mark Spencer and Clearwater in hopes to stop others in Arlington and surrounding areas from the awful experience they will experience with these people. The SAME day this happened to me, Mark Spencer literally sent THREE other customers to Browns in Marysville. Do yourself a favor and start your business at Browns, according to management, they have to deal with Marks bad business daily! They are happy to do so and have a wonderful sales team and approach to business. They have been at this for almost 40 years. Mark Spencer told two other customers that he didnt want their business that same day, so they went to Browns for all their spa and chemical needs. I definitely wound NOT buy anything from this store. The owner is the most dishonest, shady person i have done business with. If you do decide to buy make sure to get everything in writing as he goes back on his word. The owner charged and up sold a system that he knew nothing about and gave us inaccurate information regarding chemicals. He charged us an extra $1000 for the system. We should have also researched ourselves however, we made a mistake and trusted the supposed "expert" owner. Our hot tub was ready and 1 week from delivery then COVID hit (not his fault), however they gave away our hot tub to someone else when it was time for delivery again. The owner told me this himself as if that was suppose to help me feel better. He blames all others for his mistakes. He also told me that it was Clearwaters fault about the inaccurate info HE told me because the company told him wrong. He didn't know his products at all. His professionalism is awful. He is degrading and rude. I never asked for money back just an apology and an explanation. This spa will end up costing us more money in the long run for maintenance and chemicals. He did offer a full refund and to pick up the spa finally, however my husband has build the fence around it before we realized the issue. This has turned out to be quite the headache. I would think twice about buying from this awful store. Costco has similar pricing with better customer service in my opinion. He threatened to have me towed as I was taking up all of his space for his customers. I was unsure if I had the right business after reading the previous reviews. We've only experienced positive encounters with Mark. First time we went in we ended up purchasing a pellet stove, he was very helpful, knowledgeable, professional and has a humorous side. We needed an exhaust pipe for this new stove, so Mark made a call to one of his installers who hooked us up with 10 feet of stainless pipe at no charge. A year later when we were in the market for a spa we naturally selected All Season's for this purchase. I bought a tub from All Seasons Spas about a year ago. The price was great, the service was perfect and the delivery and set up went without any issues. I've gone back with regularity for chemicals and advice on care. I've always gotten solid advice and good service. I just called a few days ago for a fan motor for my Lopi propane stove and the owner had the fan in a storage facilty away from work. He offered to run get the motor or bring into work the next business day. Who could ask for more? I will upgrade my tub in four or five years and will return to All Seasons again for a new tub. I don't expect fuzzy gloves or puppies and kittens, just good service and honest advice. I'd recommend All Seasons to anyone who wants good solid service! read more

I don't understand where the people posting one star reviews are coming from. I was new to the area and stopped in to get some information on options for our fireplace. My experience with All Seasons have been outstanding. I purchased a fireplace insert and a hot tub from Mark. He always took the time to explain the equipment and answer all my questions. He has always been very friendly and helpful and patient. After my initial visit I took some time to consider my options and when I returned Mark gave me an excellent price on a fireplace insert. It has worked out better than I had hoped. My experience was so good that I returned when I was looking for a hot tub. Again he took the time to answer all my questions and once again gave me an excellent price. He personally delivered it and over saw the placement and gave a full explanation for startup and maintenance. I had worked in retail for many years and sometimes the customer is not right. We looked and did our own research in order to make the best decision both financially, logistically and what we expected from the spa itself. Thus came to the local dealer in Arlington; All Season Spa and Stove . We visited several times and finally made a decision to purchase in December of 2013. A decision we woefully regret. We originally spoke with your local distributor; All Season Spa and Stove; he was able to sway our decision to purchase from; Costco, because "Costco, only drops the spa off on your property and the rest is up to you". This description is fitting for your dealer; All Season Spa and Stove, So, our decision was made and we purchased a Clearwater Spa from your dealer; All Season Spa and Stove. The Spa was dropped off on our property and in the area we created for the Spa. We were not coached on how, or what peramitters were necessary to accommodate the Clearwater Spa; we reasearched on line and consulted on line booklets. After our Clearwater Spa was dropped on our property, All Season Spa and Stove; left without instruction nor assistance. Your dealer; All Season Spa and Stove; said he would return to install the thermal lift cover. Your dealer; All Season Spa and Stove; did so, after many unanswered phone calls, and after your dealer's claims of, 'hey it is the holidays'. Of course our check cleared without regard to, "Hey, it's the Holidays". Your dealer; All Season Spa and Stove; dropped off chemicals with the Spa, with no instruction, Your dealer; All Season Spa and Stove; shorted us the chemicals described in the Clearwater pamphlet as to what was necessary for start up. Again when called several times, again our calls were unanswered. Finally your dealer; All Season Spa and Stove; returned our call to tell us, "Hey, those chemicals are 80.00!". We suggested that was not our responsibility, that this was outlined in the delivery/start-up in the Clearwater installation pamphlet. We requested that the shorted chemicals be delivered ASAP. Again after several attempts your dealer; All Season Spa and Stove; finally delivered. However, your dealer; All Season Spa and Stove; did not call before delivery , did not ring our doorbell, did not knock on our door. Your dealer; All Season Spa and Stove; drove to our home stepped up to our front porch, dropped off the chemicals and left it there for us to, eventually find. I must say this is the worst customer service we have ever encountered in our lifetime. When delivered, we were at our home, lights and TV on, with out of town family in our home. Since this time we have had many a problem, made aware to your dealer; All Season Spa and Stove; with the balancing of our Spa water is/was problematic, most likely due to being shorted the, "80.00", chemicals initially. And being a new Clearwater Spa owner and operator. Your dealer; All Season Spa and Stove; has never lent support in anyway. I know Clearwater Spa and your dealer;All Season Spa and Stove; is aware the expense of a Spa is huge, In return for the investment of this size, a customer expects a certain level of customer service.
