We are so pleased with the entire experience. The salesperson (Daianna?) was so patient and helpful. The samples were great for allowing us to choose the final product. The rep who measured the kitchen was patient and able to answer all of my wife's questions. There were many questions. Installation was flawless. The two guys showed up, took a look at the kitchen, and went right to work. They were on time and took great care to cover the floors. The install took about two hours. Diana is the main contact of this family run business. She is very knowledgeable and friendly. You can order slabs with a wide price range and vendors. There are also many pieces of stone on site considered "remnants" that are more affordable and can be used for smaller projects with prices including finishing and installation and for finishing only. I have done both, and could not have asked for a better outcome from both experiences. I had my kitchen counters and island replaced and installed with a new slab and I also purchased a finished piece of stone with holes drilled for a small bathroom countertop. With the kitchen countertops the design in the stone was large and bold making choice of placement very important to me. I'm so glad I found this place! After having bad experiences at two other companies I came here and in less than 6 hours I made my initial call, received a quote, picked my stone and had my critical measurements done (very precisely by laser!). Everyone was extremely friendly, helpful and seemed to know their stuff. Not only did they have the best service and act quickly, they had the best prices!...beating the price of 2cm prefab granite I would have got at Evergreen Granite. (I got 3cm and all custom from SBG) Install went well and the work is beautiful. The whole process was started and finished in 12 days. I would post pictures but my remodel is not done yet and I want to do their work justice in the photos. I wish I had found Seattle's best granite before wasting months of time going back and forth and waiting on Evergreen. They will put the effort in to meeting your needs and making sure the details are right. And they will always respond promptly. Workers did a good job on installing my countertop. But there's seems to be a miscommunication in their business because when I told the two guys that I asked for a demo, they were surprised. I waited over 3 weeks for my invoice as well. I insisted on getting the invoice because the price that the girl front desk girl told me didn't match the price when the two guys are already in my house for install. Turns out, I was charged $100 more on what I was originally told. Given, that $100 was supposed to be a discount but don't tell customers that you will give them discount if you won't honor it. And oh, it seems like the girl is the only one who knows how to issue invoice and they said she work weird hours so if you're trying to get an invoice, best way is to directly email he. read more

I was remodeling a small master bathroom and didn't want to trash a perfectly good vanity. I knew I wanted a new quartz top with under mount sinks but was having a hard time finding someone willing to do the work considering it was a small counter only 59x22. I stopped in one afternoon and spoke with Daiana who offered suggestions and found a beautiful remnant that would work. She scheduled someone to measure at my house and 2 weeks later the installers showed up to complete the install. I shopped at least 6 different granite stores and they had the best price and products by far. I am doing my kitchen next and am glad I know where to go for the countertops. We are building our new multi-gen home and decided on Seattle's Best Granite for the many countertops. SBG had a wonderful selection of materials. I wish I could give ZERO stars. We hired Seattle Best Granite to remodel our kitchen. We ordered new quartz counters, a new sink, and glass tile backsplash from them. First the contractors put in the new quartz and promptly cracked it and did not fix the break. Then they sent a subcontractor "plumber" who hooked up the sink with faucet and garbage disposal in a completely improper way. He connected a reverse p-trap and did not replace the air gap drain causing insufficient draining. This had to be corrected by another plumber I personally hired who did the work right. Then he sent someone to do the tile backsplash which is now completely unsalvageable. The guy didn't use the aluminum edging I purchased so that the cut edges of the glass tiles aren't sharp and he also didn't put spacers between every tile so it's all crooked! I have had to hire a new contractor who will have to come take all of this tile out and replace it with something new because the glass tile will all shatter as it comes out. Do NOT hire this company if you want your house to look nice. read more

My countertops look great. However, we specifically asked if the price quoted included demo and hauling of our old countertops and backsplash. We were told it was. The countertops were installed just fine. The crew left a huge mess. There was old countertop ground into my wood floors, in several of the drawers and cabinets, on my front porch, on my front lawn, and in my gravel sidewalk. It took me almost four hours to clean up after them. On top of that, they did not haul away the old countertop. They left it in one of my garbage cans, which was far to heavy to move let alone leave out for the garbage men. It took more than two weeks of calling and emailing before they responded and they did finally come back and haul away the old countertops. read more

Wow! My fiancee and I were blown away by this establishment. We looked for several months to find somewhere/someone to buy and fabricate a remnant piece of granite for our mobile metal island/counter/table. We only needed a 62×26 inch piece; too small for the big hardware/ appliance/flooring/home improvement places. We called several other individual places. No one could do the job within our budget, or seemed remotely interested in our business. We saw a sign for Seattle's Best Granite on Sunday. I thought, I'll call, but I didn't have any confidence that we would have a positive outcome. I called and explained what we needed on Monday and we stopped by to see if they could help us Monday afternoon . We not only found a gorgeous remnant within our budget, but have it in our kitchen today, on Friday! We met with Diana/front office/sales person. She negotiated the price and helped us choose the perfect remnant. Christian, the fabricator, gave his blessing and validated our choice. We agreed on a price and they promised to have it finished by Thursday or Friday. We agreed that we would pick it up as no installation was required. We choose an edge that was included in the price. Another plus. My fiancee was called out on an international trip Friday morning. When I got the call that it was ready, I knew I would need help carrying it from the truck into the house. You can imagine my suprise when Martin and Edwardo (may be slightly off on his name) offered to follow me home to deliver and set it up. I was so impressed. The piece is gorgeous, expertly fabricated, looks amazing and fits on the top of our metal cart like a glove! Excellent service, workmanship, communication, follow thru. All below budget with amazing turn around time. I am blown away by these guys. If I could, I would give 10 stars!! Absolutely thrilled with our choice in using Seattle's Best Granite! I've done quite a bit of business with SBG over the past couple years. They always do quality work with top notch service.

Buyer beware! I had the unfortunate opportunity to work with SBG and I am completely disappointed with my countertops. 1) They couldn't take a simple request for a Flush / Zero reveal on my under mount sink. Never got what I asked for and they deliver an 1/4 Negative reveal which is completely unacceptable. 2) My Waterfall section is not level. They cut the top mitre edge 1/4 too long and placed the base against the cabinet. Then had the audacity to say my cabinet was not level which is a blatant lie. 3) Water marks on my my marble slabs because they left them out in the rain uncovered once delivered from Georgetown. 4) Grinder marks on the slab which can only be seen in the highlight but if you sit on the bar side of my peninsula it's very noticeable. Bottom line, if your doing a flip and want quick, cheap and don't care one bit about quality - these are your guys. If you're doing your dream kitchen and want perfection, quality and beautifully designed countertops then I would suggest looking for a more qualified contractor. read more

We just got granite counter tops installed in our kitchen. From start to finish, Edgardo gave us great service. He arrived on time for each appointment, gave us the best quote - without any strings attached or pressure and then did a very good job in installing the counter tops. We are very impressed and thankful for finding the right contractor and for the good job. Communication was a little problem - since English may not be Edgardo's first language. Seattle's WORST Granite! (NEVER, NEVER, NEVER use these guys! ) MUST READ: While getting our house ready to sell, we decided to upgrade the bathroom. Our installation involved a granite counter-top and back-splash including installation. Seattle's Best Granite didn't measure up correctly so the back-splash was cut too tall (yes it looks funny) and it created an interference fit with the light switch cover. So what did they do? Did they identify the problem, go back to the shop two miles away and fix it? Of course not. Did they mention the problem to my Wife who was home at the time? Of course not! They just glued the back-splash in place, and cut a notch the corner of the light switch cover. They also left a hole in the drywall the size of a quarter and filled it up with window caulk! - It looked really shoddy! Once installed, it would have made a huge mess of the drywall to tear it all out and fix it, so we had to hire an electrician to relocate the light switch, and a painter to re-paint the room. While we were doing that, and figuring out how much the total cost would be... they put a lien on our house! To sort it out I had to go down there twice, there was no one at the front desk the first time. In order to sell the house, I had to pay the bill in full plus court fees to lift the lien!
