I got ahold of a Rip Dawson who is a higher up in the company that actually owns a spray foam genie along with a couple others. He no longer will respond to me and left me screw. $8500 for spray foam that isn't doing me any good. Don't recommend. Also, when they came to spray it, they pulled in my yard left giant ruts that they did not fix and got Spray Foam over a bunch of weight equipment that they did not clean up. Terrible communication skills along with that and I think an autistic monkey could have made the spray foam look better

Unfortunately, our thermostat had a blank screen when he turned back on the breaker after the cleaning. He advised us that happens sometimes. We had no idea. It would of been nice if they would of communicated this to us prior to the cleaning. Or even have us sign a waiver to protect them from liability. Thankfully, our thermostat was still communicating to the furnace, so we had heat. We were referred to Total Comfort Heating and Air by the owner of Bulldog, Jason Peterson. Mark from Total Comfort came out the same day. He advised us that we had to purchase a Lennox thermostat due to the type of unit we had, so we could not just install any thermostat. Total Comfort did not have parts for Lennox so he needed time to find a vendor that did. Again, we still had heat so we were in no rush. That is until the owner, Mr. Peterson came to our home early afternoon on February 11, 2026 to met with my husband. He wanted to make sure his company did not cause the thermostat issue. While we appreciated him "trying" to help, he left us with no heat. Now we had no thermostat and no heat. We contacted Summers, which is who installed our HVAC system, and their tech did not have a Lennox thermostat either. It would be Monday of the following week before they could get one. The Summers tech tried to bypass some wires in hopes our furnace would start running, but the furnace was throwing communication errors. We ended up having to purchase space heaters to keep warm for the night. Mr. Peterson wanted to come back to our home that evening and we advised him twice not to. We voiced our concern of damaging our whole system and reiterated what the two HVAC companies had advised us of installing a non communicating thermostat. To our surprise, Mr. Peterson showed up at our home at 9pm that night! My husband was not home at that time, which caused me to panic. New home, new surroundings, a man that I had never met in person wanting to come in after being told twice not to. Mr. Peterson claims he came because he wanted to help us. If that were the case, he should of made sure we had heat after messing with our unit earlier that day. The following day, I went to Lennox's website to find an authorized dealer near us in hopes of getting our heat working as soon as possible. Reliable Comfort was the only one. We had no time to research other options that may have been available due to the no heat situation. We ended up paying for two space heaters and Total Comfort $1,100 for a thermostat in order to get our heat working again. We felt it was only fair to be reimbursed for said monies. Mr. Peterson offered to refund the monies we paid his company for the duct cleaning, which was $531. We declined asking for the full amount. Mr. Peterson then offered to pay $550. Again, we declined asking for the full amount. Mr. Peterson then offered to pay $772. Again, we declined and requested the full amount. If Mr. Peterson did not leave us without heat due to his negligence, we would not be leaving this review. Today, February 19, 2026, I started the process of getting all emails, texts, and information on our unit together so we could file a claim in small claims court. It was overwhelming to say the least. We just wanted to move on. We emailed Mr. Peterson to ask if the offer of $772 was still on the table. We received no reply. At 6:32pm tonight, I texted Mr. Peterson, asking if the offer was still on the table. At 7:17pm he responded stating all offers were no longer available. We thanked him for responding since he didn't have to. There is an abundance of communication of us trying to settle this out of court. Now, we go back to preparing our claim. To clarify, we have a Lennox IComfort system.

Chris even knocked a bit off the estimated price. A lot of companies want every penny they can get from you and he came back with a lower price than expected after finishing. Had a squirrel in our attic area.. Critter control came out in Jan. they looked around the areas &…read moreconfirmed it was squirrels. They put a one way door and traps; said they would be back every couple of days. When they came back they asked if we heard any noise. Of course we said no, (We work all day & when we come home its dark; squirrels don't move around that much at night). They locked it up with a metal plate and took away the trap. Well guess what.... the Squirrel is still in there. It has been scratching around the metal plate causing HUGE damage in our roof .. and to make matters worse, the squirel decided to go on a road trip and now it has moved to the other side of the house- running up & down the walls! We bought more traps, called Critter control again & the tech said.. "IT should die soon!" (Tech didn't come out) He just told us to mark the wall so once it dies & the smell comes, we can cut it out!! Wait a min... WHAT!! Story gets better... very next day, Squirel scratched his way out of the walls & is now in the crawl space. Called Critter control again; left message. We decided to buy more traps, and a camera. the Squirrel walks up the camera and looks at it. We texted Critter Control showing them the footage - need someone out ASAP - they said they have no techs available. REMIND you this has been going on over a month Jan & FEB! We have now called a different company! We will never use you Critter Control again.
