Rob came out and even though it was a long day for him and he was ready to go home, he made sure to keep his word that he was going to come out. I had my whole system go out and it was going to start getting below 40 degrees F each night so we were really in a bind to get something done before the freezing weather came in. Had another company (rescue rooter ARS) come out and tell me I would need a whole new system but I'm glad I made sure to get a second opinion with Rob. Our home warranty company assigned Baptist Heating & Air to our air conditioner problem after we had a significant issue with a different company. We have had to file multiple claims on our HVAC system since purchasing our home five years ago. We were weary of anyone who came out to work on the system, as we had been lied to over time, and contractors repeatedly misdiagnosed or improperly repaired the problems with the system. That all changed when Baptist came out to help us. We were so pleasantly surprised to find that they were a completely different kind of company, who truly cares about their customers. It was clear that they were not just going to write us off because we had a home warranty, as other companies had done. From our very first interaction with Andrew on the phone, we were impressed. He contacted us as soon as we filed the claim with the home warranty and scheduled the diagnostic right away. After all these years, we finally felt like we had a company that knew what they were doing and provided excellent customer service matched with great skill. We were impressed with the time spent by the man who came out to perform the diagnostic and estimate, and felt he was thorough and fair. It turned out that there were significant problems with our system. Baptist, particularly Andrew, advocated for us to have the entire air conditioner replaced. I know this was no easy task, but he did not give up because he knew that was the correct solution to our problem. Once he convinced the warranty company that a replacement was the only way to go, he also navigated problems with parts the home warranty company ordered, to make sure mistakes were corrected right away so that we could get the new system installed as quickly as possible. We have had the home warranty for five years, and we are grateful for it, but have also learned how much of a headache it can be to deal with a third party when you're trying to get something done. In the past, I have been the one who has spent hours at a time on the phone with the warranty company, trying to get things sorted out. Andrew didn't let me do this, and I was blown away by his proactive customer service as he dealt with the entire process so that I didn't have to. We didn't ask or expect him to do any of this-- that is just how this company operates. The installers were very professional and informative, and took great care to install the system properly. They clearly had a strong eye for detail and a great work ethic. I especially appreciated their perfectionism with the installation. I can't say enough wonderful things about Baptist, and only wish we had come across them several years ago. Now that we have found them, we will never let anyone else work on our HVAC system. After being sent out by my home warranty company, I was advised that my ac coil and outside unit would need to be replaced by Baptist heating and air. They replaced both parts and left and outside electrical panel off of my outdoor unit and that was very dangerous with children running around and it was also raining. Several days later I noticed a dripping sound inside of the ac unit. Thinking nothing of it we left to go downtown and when I came home parts of my floor where covered in water and my brand new floors were buckled. I was in tears. I called them and they stated that they would come out the next day, in the interim a water remediation company had to come and rip up part of my flooring and base boards and take my huge rug to clean. The condensation had backed up onto my floor!! The technician that came out said that they probably forgot to test the line... and that they are not plumbers. WHAT!!! why would you install something that you have no clue about!!!! He spent an hour fixing the condensation line problem, at no cost to me ( because they were at fault) , he apologized for the floor then left. I contacted the company three times and asked for their insurance carrier so that I could put in a claim for my floor. They refused to give the information to me. I had to contact my home warranty to get their insurance information. This took 5 days or more! When the adjuster for their company came out he looked at my old parts that they removed and stated that he believes that they left the cap on the condensation line.... This is their fault! Now my floors have thousands of dollars worth of damage and no one from their company has called me once. Now they are trying to get the insurance company to deny my claim. They came on a Monday to look at my AC and it was fixed by Thursday night. They advised me how to get it done more quickly with the home warranty company and were very polite on the phone every single time I called (and I called a lot). This happened in the week of my wedding and they wanted to get it taken care of for me. They came out on Thursday at 5pm for a 2-3 hour job. I would recommend this company for future use. read more

This company has superior service and timely scheduling. They are really good at fixing problems with heating units and air conditioners. I have used their company for mor than 7 years for my personal house and my rental property. Their pricing is also reasonable. Their staff is professional and knowledgeable. They make things work and are good at explaining what needed to be done. I've had multiple different techs come to service my HVAC needs and I would recommend them to anyone. After hearing a loud noise and reverberations began shaking my house, I thought something had "broke" in my HVAC system. I called Baptist Heating and Air and they responded quickly. My system is 19 years old and I was preparing myself to have to spend a large sum of money. Rob came in and did a quick inspection and narrowed the problem down to a couple of possibilities and corrected both quickly. He then inspected the outdoor unit and saw some potential problems he quickly remedied and did everything for a very reasonable price. He could have easily taken advantage of the situation and convinced me I needed an entire new system, but instead gave me advise on how to make my unit last much longer. Horrible! My home warranty company (HSA) assigned my case to them and my AC was never fixed. Avoid this company at all costs!!! Everyone is entitled to one bad day but the telephone attendant in my situation had 3 consecutive bad days. She tried to diagnose my issue on the phone and put me off until the weekend and I never received a service call. Use them at your own peril - not risk. read more
