We used Bridgetown Moving last month when we moved into our new home and they did a fantastic job! We had 3 movers who were friendly, speedy, and very careful with our furniture- nothing was broken or damaged. They even did 2 trips for us (within the same city). They made our move very easy and were working hard the entire time. We would use them again.

Just had a great move, thanks to Bridgetown Moving! Our second move with Bridgetown, they are excellent. Getting scheduled was stress free, thanks to Sully. Our crew was on time and way cool. They moved us with no problems, it was quite fast and painless. This is the humane way to do a move.

The final push - these professionals make it look fun and easy up to the final pieces.

From start to finish, I had a calm, supportive, friendly, human experience with Bridgetown. The first call with Sully put my mind at ease that these guys could take great care of me and my move. Excellent communication throughout, extremely careful, efficient and can-do movers on the days of the move. I had the same crew, led by the incredible Marco -- José, Martin and Sam - they worked seamlessly together to get a large house + garage + yard moved into a new place with multiple levels and a lot of complexity. Absolutely thrilled, and would recommend *only* Bridgetown for a move. This is handy, too, since I'm a real estate agent, and make these types of recommendations as a key part of my services. Thank you Sully, Marco, José, Martin and Sam, you guys are the best.

    Stolen jewelry.

We had an employee, Alex, steal jewelry from us during our move in November. The owners, along with his supervisor agreed to remove him from the company due to all evidence pointing to him; lied and have put him back on crews to move. Go elsewhere if you'd like to work with trustworthy people and owners. I've attached a picture of Alex and the empty boxes of jewelry he left.

After 27 years in one home, we sold and moved to a townhouse. We'd always moved ourselves before (and our kids as they left the nest), but we decided we were just too old to do that anymore. We'd earned this service treat to ourselves! Our realtor had two recommendations for movers and Bridgetown came absolutely through for us. Communication was excellent, Sully was great with me on the phone and in email as we established dates and times, and Elmer, Alex and Francisco were professional, on-task, polite, and willing to haul some heavy boxes and furniture out of a one level house and into a three-level townhouse. Even when I realized I hadn't directed a particular piece of furniture to the right floor - no problem! They moved it! And nothing can be perfect - a table leg came loose, but Elmer grabbed his tools and tightened it up again. They even took my platform bed apart at the old house, and put it back together again at the new house! I did not expect that! The pricing was fantastic, they were exactly on three hours, and we swear, we'll never move ourselves again. Bridgetown will get the call first. These fellows earned every bit of their pay and the gratuity.

This stuff ain't moving around... nice work, Bridgetown Moving!

Update: 50% refund…read more Yeah, don't go with these guys. i had specific instructions for my move both to the rep on the phone (xavier he's great) and to them directly. all were not really cared for properly. I should have just gotten my friends and a uhaul to move, but i was promised it would take 5hrs. i was billed 5.5hrs. tip top of the money i had left. and they didn't even have time to move everything. why? because their recklessness with my things i didn't want them carrying my computer monitors. they were hired to pack and move stuff across portland. they came at 1:30 when they said only to tell me that they didn't know they needed all the packing stuff. they eventually arrived nearly 2hrs later and towards the END Of the original window i was promised without any 'hey we will be there at this ETA' they said they got stuck behind a train, which is fine i guess? but no update after that until i called and complained, which got me a 5% discount, which is nice i guess? but like everything that happened after were MASSIVE red flags, both for the computer and the 'movers' which felt like contractors they just hired for whatever without properly vetting. i had a small move, 2 rooms. they were the slowest movers and most reckless movers i've ever hired. but i don't really blame them fully for that. supposedly they were working since 8am and just drove up from salem or something. they didn't even eat lunch. is that even legal?! no wonder they came to the door exhausted already and out of it. These 2 guys did the best they could, but honestly with how exhausted I was from helping them (something i SHOULDN'T HAVE HAD TO DO), they were doing a good job, but that doesn't really matter. In the end this guy ruined my $2000 custom built standing desk for music. not sure if i can get it repaired or fixed. he undid it and said he will put it back together. it was pretty easy just a few bolts into the joints between the wooden top and the legs and putting on the keyboard tray. easy stuff for the most part (when you have a drill, i don't own one). this guy didn't even look at where he was drilling or understand how the desk was put together after showing him specific things. he just drilled in the bolts and they hit a part that they're supposed to go into but was put in backwards making it impossible (on purpose) to get the screw in. this guy just kept drilling harder and harder and when i asked him about it he was like yeah it's supposed to sound like that. He either was so exhausted he couldn't think straight or just took on tasks he could have said 'yeah i don't know how to do that, can you do it?' either way now i have a broken desk that's only partially built and put together. i am really glad i moved all of my expensive stuff to my place with a friend last weekend, because they definitely would have broken a lot of very expensive things! I also gave them a mattress cover to put on the mattress, and they struggled doing that. You are movers wtf?! i zipped it up about half way and moved on. Then when we got to my new place they didn't even use it and put the mattress on the pavement to get a better angle or something. like what was the point in bringing it?! They also dropped a bunch of precious memories i had in a bin in a bin, they said they took them out because the outer bin couldn't close (bs). They were holding it open wrapped around their arm and i asked them to close it as it doesn't look secure and he said it would be fine, then immediately drops it with pictures and papers dropping on the ground and getting dirty. Anyway this all just happened. and there's no way I can live in my new place due to the lack of time they afforded to me to actually place things in the right spot. At least my bed is in the right spot. luckily for now i am in a short term rental because my last place had mold and why I am moving. i am highly allergic and being there as long as i did, both to wait for them to show up and how slowly they worked on loading the truck, I am feeling sick again because of it. The estimate was low balled to say the least because these guys move at a snails pace because this company overworks them and treats likely their staff like crap. these are probably more desperate people looking for an easy pay day. one guy was like 'i worked 4 days this month' and the other one worked 6 days in a row. a 12 hr day without a break outside of driving (which isn't a break) isn't really fair or legal? I paid nearly 1k for this move, and you can't afford to give these people a proper break between moves? I'm sure they weren't making nearly enough either. Lastly they pressured me to sign a thing at the end of the receipt that says everything was delivered intact, which i didn't sign. Anyway go with another company, not worth the risk. I didn't have another weekend to do this move as i need to have a livable space and that takes time as well. Anyway the movers were careless, slow, expensive, and ignored instructions.

All Service Moving did a great job. However, I was pushed…read moreinto signing a release of liability half way through. The rep said turning it sideways to get it thought the door was a special event somehow and that I would have to sign some papers. Seriously, I'm paying $700 to move a 350 pound object from the parking lot into my apartment. All Service Moving should bake the liability into the cost. If they drop it and I can't fix it, I'm willing to eat the $3k to buy a new one but they should at least agree to haul the old one away and move in the next one for free.

Two Asian dudes showed up, barely spoke to me, one would only speak his own language while the other would then speak to me in English. They rudely took pics of my apartment, then went and sat back in their truck. After about 20 minutes, the guys came out and said they couldn't do the move because it was "unsafe". Prior to that it was because I had too many small items, and in between that I was told it was because I asked for 3 hours and they'd need 7-9 hours. I called dispatch again and told Karina she sent me two racist movers. She claimed that couldn't be. I explained my stance and she said she'd call me back. Meanwhile, I have no way to move my stuff. Karina said she would talk with her moving team and call me back. Guess what? She never did. I guess you get great service when you have the right skin color. Move your stuff yourself and save the headache. The worst company ever and I don't see how Yelp recommends them. I'm disgusted.

I scheduled a move within the same apartment complex. This was not a cross-town move--it was a transfer between two apartments approximately 200 feet apart with identical floor plans. I was given a 10:00-11:00 AM arrival window. The crew did not arrive until approximately 2:30 PM, more than three hours late. During that time, I received no meaningful updates and spent the day waiting. When the crew finally arrived, only three movers showed up instead of the four-person crew I expected. Rather than arriving with a plan, they immediately expressed doubts about completing the move. The manager's response to the delay was disappointing and dismissive. When I explained that the delay was seriously impacting my day, I did not feel that the situation was being taken seriously. Ultimately, the move was not completed. I had to make alternative arrangements, hire additional help on my own, and spend the weekend moving and unpacking largely by myself. What is most frustrating is that I specifically hired a professional moving company to avoid exactly this situation. Instead, the late arrival, staffing issues, and lack of communication turned what should have been a straightforward apartment transfer into a stressful and exhausting experience. I understand that delays can happen. What I cannot understand is the lack of communication, accountability, and customer service after the delay occurred. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this location.
