Let's start off with my fear for dentists! Made an appointment with Dr. Lee for a much needed teeth cleaning. I expressed my fear of dentists to him and he made me as comfortable as possible. What I like about this office is the doctor actually cleans your teeth, not a dental assistant/hygienist. He talked me through what he was doing as I'm guessing he's trying to tame my nerves. And can I say my teeth cleaning was a pleasant one! The last dentist I went to had their assistants clean my teeth and it was always so rough and painful. Don't really know how to rate it because didn't have any work done at the place. This my story in all smiles. I called to make an appointment. Explained the situation to the receptionist. I knew for sure that I needed two extractions and some filling. I was told that when I come in I'll get the cleaning and X-rays done. So I came in. A girl did my X-rays and when the doctor came he said that he doesn't do what I needed done there. He only does cosmetic dentistry. He said he could do the fillings any time but he referred me to his friend for everything else. When I asked for care credit they just gave me a brochure and told me to do on my own online. He also saw that I have two infected teeth but decided not to prescribe anything. Which was weird cause surgeon or not I thought doctors are supposed to help ppl. So I went home searched a little more and called a totally different doctor. And here I am extremely happy with what I had done in a different place cheaper. Recovering from my extractions. I can't say anything. The place looks nice. If you are willing to overpay for the service just cause of looks and be sent here and there for other stuff go right ahead. After not having gone to the dentist in over 5 years, I went to a dental office where I was told that I had over 10 cavities that needed filling and 3 others that needed root canals. I decided to go to All Smiles Dental for a second opinion because they accepted Medicaid and the office was close to home. The office is very clean and the staff are friendly and professional. After my x-ray, Dr. Lee told me that only one of my teeth definitely needed a root canal, and that he would try his best to save the other two without root canals because he understood my financial situation. It's also better to keep your natural tooth and root if possible because your real tooth is less prone to breaking than an artificial crown. He told me it wouldn't be too late to go back for the root canals later if I still need it. It turned out that one of those two teeth he tried to save did end up needing a root canal, but the cost of two root canals is still far less than the cost of three, and I felt good knowing that he did all he could to save my natural tooth. Through this whole process, Dr. Lee was very personable and willing to explain everything completely until I understood it. He actually cares about his patients and will not try to provide more services than you need in order to make more money. During the actual procedures, he is not only very skilled and knowledgeable, but attentive to your needs regarding pain and comfort. He really puts you at ease during the procedure so that it is as comfortable a process as possible. The office is also very efficient, as I have never waited more than 15 minutes or so for my appointment. Later on, when I got a job at a hospital and had the option of choosing a top-tier dentist that would have offered me a greater discount under my dental insurance plan, I decided to stay with Dr. Lee because I know he really cares about his patients. Over three years later, my teeth are healthier and I am still very satisfied with the care I receive at All Smiles Dental. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a competent and caring dentist! read more

Professional and clean. There's a monitor with Korean music videos in the waiting room, there are other more suitable videos. The saving grace is I didn't have to wait too long to have my teeth cleaned. Dr. Lee is affable but not too friendly; comes across as a knowledgeable professional. The staff is very nice. Omg.....I am so happy I found Dr. John Lee. That was the best time I've ever had at a dentist or doctor for that matter. When I first arrived I realized I booked an appointment in an heavily Asian community. I was a little nervous because I'm African American but it was the best decision I've ever made. Dr. Lee explained and showed me my x-rays. I'm 32 and no one has ever done that before. He showed me exactly where my cavities were. And explained in detail how I can avoid getting anymore and how to care for my teeth. He cleaned my teeth and explained everything he was doing as he was cleaning. I got my teeth cleaned and examined and learned so much at the same time. Once I was done they gave me a full schedule on how much it would cost to get the cavities fixed and exactly which tooth and price. EVERYONE ON THE STAFF IS SUPER FRIENDLY. The receptionists are very friendly and polite, the office is clean and not crowded, and I was seen shortly after I got there. Dr. Lee himself was courteous and gentle with the procedures during the cleaning and fillings and frequently asked if I was ok or felt pain. He is generally very aware of patients' "dentist anxiety" and works to alleviate it as much as possible. Afterward, he provided answers to all of my questions without rushing off to other patients. clean and bright office with lovely staff. the dentist himself had great bedside manner and explained in detail while cleaning my teeth. he was not as knowledgeable in TMJ/ lock jaw and was not able to do extractions. He was hesitant on doing my cleaning since I'm prone to lock jaw and he didn't have anything to relax the jaw. However we ended up going ahead with the cleaning and it ended up fine. Prices are reasonable and competitive to other offices in the vicinity if you're self-pay. read more
