I stopped by Gentle Dental this afternoon for a teeth cleaning with Jessica J., and it reminded me why I've been coming here for over eight years. Jessica is simply exceptional. She's patient, attentive, and truly listens--making sure you're comfortable every step of the way while still being incredibly thorough. Once you've had a cleaning with her, it's hard to imagine going to anyone else. Jean at the front desk is equally wonderful--professional, welcoming, and always makes you feel at ease from the moment you walk in. Today I also met Sasha, who was kind, compassionate, and very attentive throughout the visit. Consistency like this is hard to come by, and it's what keeps me coming back year after year. This place doesn't deserve even one star. They lure you in with the story that the consultation, x-rays, and photographs are free, but they're not. They're dishonest and look for things you don't have in order to charge you exorbitant prices. I came here to get my teeth treated. The dentist seemed hesitant in his diagnosis, and the hygienist was even worse. I don't have the best teeth, but I do maintain good daily hygiene. The hygienist recommended a deep cleaning because I had tartar and plaque. The cleaning cost $795. Then the supposed budget coordinator arrived, and the treatment for my teeth would cost $12,185. At another place in the same area, the treatment would have cost me $5,533. Even so, I paid half the cleaning, $395, to start, and they only cleaned half of my mouth, on the right side, both upper and lower. During the week, I got two second opinions from other dentists and called dental insurance companies and plans. The result: I have no plaque, no tartar, and a cleaning wasn't necessary right now. I had a broken tooth, and these dishonest people at Gentle Dental wanted to put a crown on me for $3,050. The other two dentists recommended the following: you have 70% of your tooth still good; it's best to preserve it by getting a filling that, with care, will last and keep part of your natural tooth. Think a thousand times before going to Gentle Dental. I recommend Corbin Dental Bayside. I came here to my bestie's job so I can get my last wisdom tooth extracted. Let me preface this by saying I am deathly afraid of any type of oral dental surgery. I didn't have great experiences when I was younger. Due to having a previous root canal and three other wisdom teeth extracted I've always felt afraid and terrified of what may go wrong in the dental chair. With the new renovation, this office is immaculate, has high-tech equipment, extremely modern, as well as inviting. The office is huge. The staff were really nice. With all that being said, both Dr. Gelfand and my bestie did a good job as far as trying to keep me calm and making sure my anxiety wasn't through the roof. I recently returned after being away for a while due to the pandemic, and trying my husband's union dentist, which was awful. Gentle Dental has done very well over the years. They've completely redone their offices which are quite lovely. Today I had my first great experience with the dental hygienist; pardon the spelling, Sooyung. I would have to say over my 50 years plus going to dentist Dr. Gelfand is absolutely the best. He has been great with me as I had a true fear of dentistry and I have come a long way because of his kindness and great care every time I had to have a dental procedure (lots of root canals, ahhhhhh!) As I also work in healthcare, sometimes the ladies at the front desk are little detached, which is fine because I know how busy they can get. I'm particularly glad that Jean is back. read more

The office has new staff and has been renovated. I haven't been there since COVID but Had my cleaning 2-3 months ago and was seen by a different dentist Dr. Gelfand who recommended me to purchase electronic tooth brush. I've been seeing the same dentist Dr. Ilyabayev approx over 9 years who doesn't think electronic brush would be right for me. I'm not sure who to believe. I've also moved about 1.5 hours away and haven't found a dentist that I really liked. I routinely get my cleanings done every 3 months but after this phone call today with the staff I have decided that I shouldn't waste my time driving there. There was no follow up about the Invisalign or night guards for the bruxism. Anyway, I noticed the reviews overtime has changed and have gotten worst. Terrible service with billing department and office manager. Over charged my TWO insurance companies by $500 each. Additionally filled out HIPPA form when first became patient for myself and my husband Billing coordinator refused to discuss bill until my husband was out of dental chair citing HIPPA law. Then when asked for a release of records form they sent me a filled out form with another patients name on it! Office is clean. People are professional. But the fee structure is skeptical. I was told I need a special deep cleaning. They do one side for $77 and I have to make second appointment for the other side for another $77, out of pocket, with additional of $50 deductible. My dental insurance is Aetna. Supposed to cover 2 free cleaning and 2 x-ray / exams yearly. Free service up to 2K. Have not heard of this kind of cleaning before. Said it will cost more for the very special cleaning ... like maybe $350. Said one root canal with them will be 4500. Never heard of. Very sketchy..... I had a few root canals before. The folks at this place must moonlight at a car dealership First wave, the assistants (women) do all the talking.. the dentist comes in points to some stuff, then leaves.. then the smooth talking finance person comes in.. shows you a bunch of papers..says 'you must have this done. Insurance only covers this much, but don't worry, we can arrange financing and have payment plans'. You NEED to ASK them IF THEY ARE IN NETWORK. Not only if they accept yourq we dental insurance. And shop around l. Their prices are almost 3 times higher. My root canal was bleeding for two days after, and the crown fell off after less than a month. My husband and I both come here to get our teeth cleaned. I was getting my last side of deep cleaning and cavity. My husband was supposed to get his sutures taken out and cavity done but the coordinator didn't schedule the cavity in. They told my husband that he couldn't be accommodated because all doctors are backed up and didn't have time. She didn't even ask the doctor to see if they would be willing to do it. So I asked Dr. Kogen (my doctor) to if he can do it. And he right away said yes. Which was really nice of him. Dr. Kogen did 3 of my cavities and it was seamless. He's so nice and was able to answer all my questions. My hygienist Cindy was great with my cleaning. She made sure my lips were hydrated and I had enough numbing cream. Every now and then she would ask if I was ok which was really nice of her. The assistant Gladys was also very nice and helpful. Dr. Andrey did my husband's wisdom tooth extraction and he was really knowledgeable and everything went really smooth. Eyline was a medical assistant who helped him with his first extraction was great. She gave live updates on what to expect during the procedure which helped keep him feeling relaxed so he wouldn't be surprised. read more

I need to extract my teeth. Although this clinic is clean, there are no patients and many staff. They do not receive medical insurance. You need to pay $500 to remove a tooth. The preferential price for the inspection fee is 65. I feel a little scary. This is also the reason why there are no patients. I didn't have treatment, so I only paid 65 dollars for the examination. On a recommendation from my friend, I came here for a general checkup/cleaning/whitening as I was way overdue after 2 or 3 years. Looking over a couple of reviews below, I'm really puzzled by the experiences/reactions, as mine were the complete opposite. From the moment I walked in, I feel like I was more or less dentally pampered. Not to overstate the case, but I've been to many medical/dental offices in my life. NYC medical offices are unfortunately infamous for often having overworked/indifferent/rude front desk staff and reception. Here the ladies at the front desk were extremely friendly and welcoming. The wait was pretty minimal, another shocker. It's a bright, clean office that does its best to put you at ease about an experience that, quite frankly, many people often dislike/avoid/put off--subjecting your teeth to the potential of unpleasantness and pain. They work in teams here and I was introduced to the dental assistant and tech, who were both extremely nice though professional. They explained everything that would happen, asked if I had any concerns, and turned on the TV for me (TV!). Yes, apparently you can watch movies and cable shows from the comfort of your chair, which is a really awesome idea, especially if you're in for extensive procedures. It really fills the lulls and waits in the dental chair nicely. The assistant took my x-rays, an experience I always detest due to my annoying gag reflex. But we joked about my inability to relax my anxious tongue, so it was all good. Next I met my hygienist, a very professional young guy who zoomed into my teeth and showed me a couple of problem areas that concerned him and seemed very objective. I have to say, looking at the tiny cavities blown up on a computer screen is kind of bizarre--both cool and disturbing at the same time. (I did make a follow-up appointment to come in and take care of the small cavities.) They then took impressions for my "trays," which I have to lace with bleach from a syringe gun they gave me in my whitening kit. This was pretty quick and painless. Finally, the dental tech and assistant combined forces to clean some serious plaque gunk from my mouth, and spent a good amount of time meticulously going over each molar and incosor. I don't envy them the task. It's never pleasant for me, but I only have myself to blame, and I made a pledge (fingers crossed) to actually floss and take better care of my teeth. After they were done, I was given a whitening kit and both of them took turns giving me instructions on how to use it. Everyone seemed to be working together efficiently, which made for a pretty streamlined and relatively stress-free visit. Of course, the calm "muzak" that played as the "office default," which reminds me of some Asian reflexology massage joints, stuck in my head after an hour sitting in the chair. In this case it was "When You Wish Upon a Star." Well, I guess it could be worse. The solution? Plug your headphones into one of their iPods, close your eyes, and daydream--another high tech innovation I've never before experienced. The only real issue for me is that the place is not super-accessible from my neighborhood, but there is an LIRR station a few blocks away so the situation is not dire. My story: I drive 90 mins, sometimes 2 hours to this office. I probably pass hundreds of dental offices. The reason I first came here, I had a bad tooth ache and at the time I lived in New Jersey but worked in New York. This was the only office that had availability to treat me the next day as an emergency patient. After the treatment and responses from other patients, I decided to fix or correct my teeth from accidents that occurred during my youth and time served in the military. I had every type of treatment done at this office performed by Dr. Andrey llyabayev and his staff. He has performed oral surgery, root canals, extraction, implants and crowns on my mouth. His knowledge an attention to detail is what separate him from other Dentists. I highly recommend Dr. Andrey for any dental treatment, especially cosmetics. My hygienist Angie is the best. Staff/Office: Hospitality is awesome, everyone is polite and professional. Office is always clean and never noisy. When it comes to business, branding, and professionalism, I expect the highest quality, presentation and delivery, so you'd better be at the top of your game if you want my good word. Unlike the previous reviewers, I could not have had a more pleasant introduction and overall experience with Gentle Dental so far. After being recommended to them by two separate and highly trustworthy friends, I finally went in for initial exam, x-rays, consultation, and much needed teeth cleaning. Coming from my Seattle Dentist, Dr. Nicole Leiker http://www.doctorleiker.com/ (female owned and operated practice with a focus on a relaxing experience - they have massage dental chairs!!), my standards for quality dental care were very high. The office staff was super friendly and warmly welcomed me by offering me a cup of tea (in a real porcelain tea cup!), while I filled out my paperwork. The lobby is brightly lit, clean, and modern. I loved that she loves her job, which came through in her presence. She made me SO comfortable with pillows behind my back and under my legs, a neck warmer, and few drops of lavender oil for a soothing aromatic effect to calm my nerves (it'd been so long since I had a teeth cleaning, I knew my gums were going to be very sensitive, thus I had anxiety about the procedure). The best part were the Bose headphones and iPod ready with Rihanna on shuffle - I'm a music head, so a lil' of the latest RiRi to forget about the pain was just perfect!! They even shielded my eyes from the overhead glare with sunglasses, and I totally zoned out while they thoroughly cleaned my teeth. Specific my needs, this included a slight numbing for the scraping, scaling, polishing, and a final fluoride treatment. Throughout the entire process, a smooth non-fragrant lip conditioner was applied to my lips, preventing any cracking or discomfort from holding my mouth open. During the waiting periods as the team reviewed the my x-rays and medical history, they played instructional videos that were specific to the results of my exam. I watched relevant clips of about proper methods of brushing, flossing, and periodontal disease (eek!). Yup, the truth can be scary and even embarrassing, but I'd much rather acquire the knowledge and tools to prevent gum disease and tooth decay than ignore the repercussions of my inaction. My dental hygienist and specialists were very professional and obviously knowledgeable about my oral health situation and treatment options. After my appointment, I was in a big hurry to get back to Brooklyn on time, and Jean at the front desk ordered the most awesome (female!) car driver, who got me to my next appointment right on time. I'll definitely go back for my fillings and any other general or cosmetic dental needs very soon. It is well worth the travel from Brooklyn to Queens. Highly recommended!!! read more

Broke a part off of my tooth Friday night 3/15 at the movie theater eating popcorn. I had to leave for a business trip on Sunday and would not be back until the following Saturday. Needed to take care of my broken tooth. My own dentist's website stated that he had office hours on Saturday from 8 to 2. Woke up early and went to my dentist office but was not open on Saturday at all. Googled dentists in Bayside that were open on a Saturday. Found Gentle Dental and made an appointment immediately. What a fantastic experience I had at Gentle Dental. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the receptionist Nicole, friendly and professional. I did not have to wait long and after filling out forms, I was ushered into the dental exam room. Indira was my dental assistant, detailed oriented, professional and advised me every step of the process. Then the dentist came in, Dr. Park, smart, funny, knowledgeable and explained to me what my next steps were pertaining to my broken tooth. He stated that he did not know whether I needed a crown or a root canal and would not know until he drilled. Prior to him commencing any work in my mouth, the treatment coordinator came in, Olga and explained the cost upfront. That is so refreshing. You get the treatment cost prior to the dentist doing the work. After I approved the work, Dr. Park started to work on my tooth. What a phenomenal job he did on my tooth. He gave me the good news that I did not need a root canal and we were going with the crown (cheaper than the root canal). Then I met Oleg, a dental assistant but in reality, he is a dentist for the past 8 years in Ukraine and came to the U.S. for freedom. Unfortunately, the U.S. does not recognize reciprocity, otherwise Oleg would have been practicing dentistry. He made sure my temporary crown fit perfectly until the permanent crown was being made which would not be ready for two weeks. All the staff at Gentle Dental were friendly, personable, experienced, highly qualified, excellent, thorough, detail oriented, professional, knowledgeable, and had a wonderful bedside manner. What I also liked about this place besides the staff is that they will not push unnecessary dental work and charge you for it. Staff is super nice .... everyone is very accommodating... they follow up the next day after most visits to make sure you are doing well...very up to date on all their equipment... when you sit in the chair you get a pillow!!!! Then they put sun glasses on you so nothing gets in your eyes... and then they put something on your lips to keep them from drying out!!!!! Love it!!!! My other dentist the equipment was so old they had to go into another room to fill up the rinse cup!!! I've been to this office twice and what a nightmare! The first visit was for a cleaning & they weren't "Gentle" @ all. I was in pain the entire time & the dental hygienist showed no remorse. They stated I had 8-10 cavities which in fact was a lie and actually found out today that I had 2. I had an emergency visit the second time & all the doctor did was examine me, told me I needed a root canal and immediately the financial advisor came in and stated my co-pay was $1,500. HOW?! On top of that they insisted I stayed because there's "no place better than here" LOL. What a joke. Complete scam if you ask me. I will never return to this establishment. I started getting work done by Gentle Dental in middle school. As soon as I turned 18, these guys decided to send an unpaid bill straight to collections. (Thus, messing up my credit right before going to college!) That isn't even one reason to why I am writing this review. Gentle Dental claimed I had eight cavities. My gut instinct told me this was not true. Back from College, I decided to get a second opinion. I did not have a single cavity. On top of all this, they never finished two jobs left over in my mouth! One, on my left side, I had received a root canal sometime in high school. I go back a year later, and the root canal wasn't well done. Becuase of this mistake, they extracted the whole tooth. Again, work not finished. (Luckily, I am getting that fixed this year, by another dentist of course!) On the right side of my mouth, I received another root canal. (by Gentle Dental) The crown chipped and cracked, while also never being completed. (My current dentist showed me the X-Rays of the unfinished root canal) I wish that they wouldn't have done that to me at such a young age. Anyone in high school wouldn't question a dentist. To take advantage of my mother's insurance, put unnecessary work in my mouth and bill me before knowing what's credit scores, is just LOW. So Gentle Dental managed to: -Mess up my credit before turning 18. -Give me two poorly done root canals. -A undependable crown. -Almost fill eight non-existing cavities. -Not finish two implants. (They wanted me to get my cavities filled before I received any implants. Cavities that I didn't have.) read more

Terrible, terrible dentist office. Read on to discover how a $50 cleaning could've turned into a major ripoff! I had only come in for a cleaning and a hygienist rushed in to perform a faulty gum disease test (At 29 and a non-smoker, I've never had gum disease or a cavity in my life). They then played an awful video about severe gum disease with me sitting there laughing my head off at the brainwashing attempt. The hygienist rushed out and a very bitchy, nasty ogre of an office manager rushed in and tried to force me into having my teeth scaled in quadrants. When I flatly denied and told her I would want a second opinion if I even believed the far out claim, she turned even nastier and at one point attempted to stand between me and the door. She seemed hellbent on wanting to upsell me on a procedure that would have cost me hundreds. When I immediately switched to another dentists office, ****they either sent over the wrong dental records OR digitally manipulated records to send to my current dentist**** When the xrays arrived, a huge portion of my lower gums were MAGICALLY missing. WOW! Appalling. I have a flawless smile with perfect teeth and gums. Unfortunately this office is more interested in highway robbery than running an honest business. Will never return. read more

I swore by this place. I loved it! It is so nice, very clean. It was recently renovated. I always recommended it to everyone I know. But then, the last procedure I had done, took almost 5 months to complete, and it was just a simple cap. They had to take multiple impressions, and try to fit it so many times because " the lab kept on messing up" it was an awfully painful experience as they had to inject me with the anesthesia each time. My tooth became sensitive and to this day it still feels uneven... but I just dealt with it, because I did not want to get any more needles. And I was tired of going back for the same thing so many times... So, Prior to starting the work, I sat with a financial person and we discussed the total fee for this procedure. They called my insurance confirmed with the insurance what they would cover, then they gave me a bill for the difference. I paid the whole amount they requested of me. But they are still billing me an extra $ 500.00 ... Huh??? Why? Cause it took them so long and so many attempts to get it "kinda right" ? Or because the lab may have charged them extra for making so many caps?? None of this is my fault. read more

I am so impressed with the level of professionalism displayed and kind consideration given to me by the dentist and staff at Gentle Dental. From the moment I arrived, I could see I was in good hands. I was offered tea, fresh apples and a comfy place to wait. The office and facilities were very clean and there were prepared disposable toothbrushes in the bathroom for clients to freshen up with, before appointments. I explained that dental work made me nervous. They did not hesitate to address my concerns. They explained every step and gave advance notice if I was about to feel pressure, discomfort or pain. I am forever grateful to Dr Roman Kogen, he saved a tooth and put a perfect crown. Several Dentists told me that I needed an extraction and (the tooth) could not be saved. I recommend this dentist to anyone who's been looking for the perfect match. Professional, honest and talented. Imagine being told over and over that a tooth needed to be pulled. And then one epic day, with the right dentist...you're told "we are saving this tooth!" ??? Thank you Gentle Dental and Dr. Kogen. I've finally found the right match. read more

Honestly, I'm afraid to write a negative review because they might read this and retaliate. That should tell you something. They *may* do excellent work but their billing is unscrupulous which puts everything else they do in question. Final conclusion: If you are rich then come here and you'll be satisfied and probably rate them 5 stars. If you are working class or middle class stay away and go to an in-network dentist that is affordable. read more

CROOKS!! After 8 years of being a loyal customer, I'm done with this place! PLEASE NOTE: There are no glowing reviews from anyone on their Facebook page. In the beginning, they said that I had the beginnings of gum disease and that I needed antibiotic treatments under the gum-line. I did not find this far-fetched, as it had been many years since I've been to the dentist and gum disease runs in my family. I went ahead with the treatment, financing it because my insurance is crap they said I would have pay out-of-pocket, and the insurance would mail me a check. They suggested 4 cleanings per year, which was fine because my father, who had a bad case of gum disease went 4 times per years. It is then when I opened a flexible spending account through my employer to pay for my dental work. I would pay $115 for a cleaning out-of-pocket with my flexcard, and would be reimbursed $27.95 by my insurance. I really didn't mind as I was very satisfied with the service and I could walk to the office. Fast forward to November 2012. I came for my usual cleaning and noticed a bunch of new equipment in the examining room. (Lasers to fill cavities? Modern Technology, loved it) To my surprise the hygienist told me that I had a bunch of small cavities, and that they needed to be filled. I hadn't had a cavity in 12 years. Maybe I was due for some? I went back the next week and filled two, but didn't have enough in my Flexible Spending account to cover it all and asked if they could bill me the remainder after the new year when I had a fresh amount in my account. They refused. (One year, I had extra money in my account and didn't want to lose, so I went for their ZOOM whitening and they billed it as mouth guards so the flexible spending people would allow it.) They knew I had been going there for years. I had even referred 2 people to them! So I paid the balance on a credit card and scheduled the other two fillings for January. I figure "they're a business, they need their money" I left feeling annoyed. January 10, 2013: I come in to fill the remaining 2 cavities and they fill 3 and stated that there 4 more on the other side. They also tried selling me Invisalign even though I had braces as a teenager. After spending $1135.00 for 5 cavities and only getting back $132.00 from my insurance, I think "enough is enough" and decide to switch to a dentist in Franklin Square that takes my insurance as full payment. Today, March 5 2013: After a full examination and cleaning with X-rays from my new dentist, I had very little tartar on my teeth. He said that my teeth are in pristine condition and that there was NO SIGN OF ANY DECAY ANYWHERE. After telling him my story about this place, he said "I'm sorry, but there are bad apples out there and you may have been seeing one". (So could have had up to five fillings done for no reason!?!?!?!) To make a long story short, THESE GUYS ARE IN THE SAME CLASS AS MOST AUTO MECHANICS!! CROOKS! Unless you are very well insured, STAY AWAY! IF YOU NEED SOFT IPOD MUSIC, SUNGLASSES AND NATURE PROGRAMMING WHILE LAYING DOWN, VISIT A SPA!!! Update: July 2015. The 4 so called "cavities" that I hadn't filled in January 2013 still have never been filled and none have been detected in the area by my current dentist. If I really had cavities, wouldn't the teeth have decayed to the point where the teeth in this area would be falling out by now? I rest my case! read more

I will start with 2 positive things about this place. The hygienist did do a good teeth cleaning and the office workers were friendly. When I went for my cleaning, there was an assistant. While The hygienist and assistant were cleaning my teeth, they were having a conversation with each other which I thought was unprofessional and I never experienced before at previous dentists. The office only allowed a certain amount of time for my appointment so the hygienist only cleaned half of my teeth...it was so strange. Then I had to come back another time for her to clean the other half. I have never had to come a second time for cleaning half of my teeth and in the past my teeth have been in similar shape as when I went to Gentle Dental!!!! Then the dentist comes in, and tells me without explaining my xrays that I needed a root canal. I luckily went to a dentist I can trust and he told me that I would need a root canal when my tooth is sensitive to hot and cold water. Lastly, a woman there explained to me the costs involved. I didn't want to spend more money if I don't have to and my questions made her to ASSUME that I don't have the money. She should not at all have ASSUMED that and she explained a credit card option to me. That was offensive. Even if the dentists there did a great job I would never have it done at Gentle Dental and I will not be going back there again. read more

I'll start with why I had enough of this place and had to leave... I had pain in my lower back gum and called specifically for an appointment for what seemed like swelling. I went in for the appointment and waited way to long as usual there. When the dentist finally came in he said nothing to me inspected my mouth and started preparing to make a crown mold. To make a long story short the assistant eventually came in and said the dentist was running into his next appointment and couldn't come back to see my about my pain. I went to another dentist the next day which I'll review next ( He's awesome!) and he confirmed that my gum was not only swollen but infected. I had surgery done later that same day. The dentist is not friendly and they seem very expensive... I heard about getting expensive crowns a lot! My coworker that went there for a little while also said that they seemed to always push a need to get crowns for her and her husband. Overall, the staff aside from the dentist are friend. It's clean there and organized. They use a lot of state of the art technology there which would explain why they are so quick to try and get expensive crowns done all the time. read more

I have never had a more pleasant experience at the dentist. Warm welcome as soon as you come in. The name of the establishment is really a perfect fit, you are treated so gently the entire time. Once you get into the room you are positioned, asked what you would like to be put on the tv, given a pillow, glasses. It's as convenient and accommodating as can be. Never have I imagined to enjoy my dental visit so. Dr Andre is an expert in his field and I am always very pleased with his care. He always explains every action and works with you through your fears and discomfort if need be. So patient and kind. Thank you! read more

Around 5 or 6 years ago I decided to start taking better care of my teeth, sought out a dentist in my area, and thankfully came across Gentle Dental. Having previously been the type of person to cringe (and even cry) before and during my dental visits, I found my experiences at Gentle Dental to be very different. The staff and doctors are so kind and have helped me to overcome a lot of the anxieties I experienced with other dentists in the past. When you arrive at the office, the administrative staff is welcoming and friendly. The reception area is bright, beautiful, and spotless - with a flat screen tv, magazines, fruit, and water available for you. The exam rooms are equally as clean and bright- also equipped with a flat screen. I feel that Gentle Dental goes above and beyond to create an environment that alleviates the fears and preconceived notions that most people have about going to the dentist. The doctors are excellent and take time to explain what your issues are and how to address them. They have always been very patient with me and have helped me tremendously: Since I first started going to Gentle Dental, I've had cleanings, cavities filled, root canal and tooth extractions. Most recently, I finished Invisalign - I am so pleased with the outcome and could not be happier! Because of the doctors and staff at Gentle Dental, going to the dentist is a pleasure. I have a new found love for my teeth and am confidant in my smile, which is really the greatest gift a dentist could give to their patient. Had a great experience at Gentle Dental. It was my son's 1st cleaning and they welcomed him with opened arms and were very patient with him. He didn't let them clean his mouth but they were very reassuring that when we try again in a month he will do ok. I appreciate their attentiveness with my son. I would like to start this off by saying I am not a big fan of dentists, so I have avoided them for the past few years. However, I have just come back from my third appointment here and they have really made the experience much better than I remembered it being. They really try to make you feel comfortable. I was getting a cleaning and they put vitamin e balm on my lips so they wouldn't feel dry and sunglasses on my eyes to avoid anything spraying in them. The other reviews are pretty terrible but I really didn't think my experience was bad at all. I liked Gentle Dental. read more

I was looking around for a new dentist (my old dentist has limited hours, 10 - 3PM, and it became inconvenient to take time-off of work for a dental exam), so story short, my friend recommended Gentle Dental, and I made an appt, Very polite staff, modern office, thoughtfull doctors, basically you dont feel like an insurance card. I had the regular dental exam and teeth cleaning (which I do every 6 months), and I am very happy with it. I hate when the teeth cleaning is not performed up to par ,but they honestly did a good job. read more
