I was unable to contact them the day before my move and had to frantically scramble to find another mover. I had trusted the person who had scheduled my appointment that I would be contacted the day before my move. However, after not hearing from them for most of the day, I decided to contact them in the afternoon and to my profound dismay, was greeted with a message that their number is disconnected and that there is no alternate number. This was my third time using their services and although each time my moves were local (less than 10 miles), the level of professionalism and compassion from the initial call with Ms. Darlene (who is ALWAYS so pleasant and kind), to the movers who come in and get the job DONE, is priceless! Recently I had the pleasure of working with ROBERT and ABEL who are very hard workers, thorough and efficient. They were patiently waiting for me and ready to go upon my arrival. The move was very fast and my belongings were handled with extreme care. Robert (who is such a sweetheart and funny) is very energetic and personable! I purchased a Groupon and then called for that same weekend. Talked to Darlene and she was great. Told me a few basic things and sent me confirmation emails and paperwork. She sent over Peter and his crew (Theo and Juan). Really nice guys. They worked really quickly and efficiently. They asked questions and didn't ever assume they knew how they wanted my furniture to be handled. They were early, courteous, respectful and cheerful. It was almost a hundred degrees outside but they didn't even stop for a break. Peter was hilarious he kept the momentum going. Steven, Robert and some guy who would jam to his music on blast from his phone speaker. Now they didnt introduce themselves besides Robert who is the sweetest of them all. Steven was the driver who seemed like he was in charge of everything. Rude and cold. Lacks professionalism. Tell me why the whole move took 3 hours and our apartments are only 13 miles apart. On top of that... I didnt know it was only cash/check if over the 2 hours prepaid on groupon. So it was 150.... luckily my sister was nearby and by the time she got there.... steven looks at his clock and charges me additional 30 minutes. WELL SHIT BRO. Flat out almost a $500 move!!!! I bought the Groupon for $199 that came with 2 hours of moving. Now I expected them to go over the 2 hours but 5hours WHY?! It took them 5 hours to move me from a 1 bdrm Dowtown Loft to a 1 bdrm Apt in Sugarland. They did not Wrap my couch, they took things a loose that didn't need to be dismantled to put on the truck. How do I know, because the company I used to move in Never Took these items a loose. All my big furniture and Tvs were wrapped and Padded. When I called to ask why their guys were taking their sweet time moving me I was given to the manager who all but cussed me out and threatened to keep my stuff if I didn't pay. Which he called them in route and told them to bring my stuff to their storage facility. If you're moving farther than around the corner or up the street I cannot recommend calling them because some how you're gonna get screwed out of your original quote. Both times have been outstanding. I had a coupon from Angie's List; when I signed up, I got a call back from Darlene within 24 hours. She went over the ins and outs of the coupon and we confirmed a time. The day of the move, Scott, Desi, and Kevin called to tell me they were running a little behind, but showed up pretty close to the appointment time. They were professionally dressed in company t-shirts and baseball caps. They reviewed the scope of the move and got to work. They wrapped everything carefully and got the truck loaded within 90 minutes. When we got to the new house they quickly unloaded everything and put it where requested. Nothing was damaged during the move and they were friendly and efficient. The service received was an excellent value for the price paid. I'm hoping my moving days are over but if I need another I will only consider these guys. read more

Absolutely amazing. I actually found these movers on Groupon, and though I was a bit skeptical, my initial conversations with Darlene settled my nerves quickly. No only were they quick and courteous, they provided reasonable overage rates for any time above and beyond the cost of the Groupon. Now something someone using them should be mindful of is the fact that they are cash only in an otherwise cashless society, but antiquated or nostalgic the movers performed wonderfully. The guys were methodical and courteous as they carefully moved my items. I live on the third floor and there was no additional fee for this like some of the other movers I considered. Additionally, these guys travel up to 50 miles out of the city center which is extremely convenient if you a moving to a suburb of Houston. I am completely satisfied with their level of service and even provided a hefty tip to show my appreciation, either that or I do HORRIBLE math‍. Initially, I was worried that my experience was going to be a bad one because they didn't answer my email quickly. I purchased an Amazon Local deal and emailed the company with a few questions. I didn't hear anything for two days so I called. When I called all of my questions were answered right there and then. All of the ladies in the office were very friendly and professional. Darlene later called to confirm my move. Pedro and Jose were very helpful, friendly and efficient. They were very careful with my things even when I told them they didn't have to be because the couch was old or I'd gotten that table for free. They put every box in the right room, whether it was upstairs or down. They never complained or seemed anything less than pleasant despite the terrible heat even when I asked them to move the furniture to different positions. Through some unfortunate circumstances my move was somewhat last minute and thus very stressful. I hate moving under the best of conditions but Darlene, Peter and Jose really made my move a little less horrible. We will definitely use them again. read more

I have used this company 4 times in the past few years. Darlene is the person I have always talked with on the phone. This is a great moving company. They always have a Groupon. I saw someone complaining that they only take cash or check. This is explained to you when you book your appointment. If you go over a few minutes they charge you in 30 minute increments. They have always gone over when they have done my move. They move so fast and don't take a break. One person I saw complained because it took them 3.5 hours to move their stuff. That's great timing to me. If I was to move my own stuff it would take me all day. Another person complained because it took 5 hours but going from downtown to sugarcoat is a far drive. I recommend this company I have recommended this company 2 times to my friends and they liked using them. You won't be disappointed! They have not broke anything of mine in 4 moves! read more

No stars. Even though I had to check one star to post this review. I called All Some Movers to move our belongings from a large two-story 4 bedroom house into a 25ft storage unit. I used them (a second time) because I wanted to support local the business, plus they moved our belongings from the same storage 10 years ago when we moved into our new home. They arrived in a 24ft long trailer instead of a full size moving truck, that raised a red flag for me. They did the walk-through and verified they could load everything up and they got started. A little over halfway through loading the trailer, one of the guys tell me they will probably have to make a second trip. I thought they would do the right thing and prorate us for the second trip from Spring to Conroe. We had everything boxed up and packed. Beds all broke down, you get the picture, we were ready. All they had to do was lift things and move. They started at 8ish a.m. and could have been done about 1pm (at the latest) when they finished the first load. 2.5 hours after that, they wanted $950 for two trips. I had to run to the ATM to get another $400 bucks and they guy had the nerve to tell me "I won't charge you for the time it took you to go to the ATM. WTH? I called the office and emailed them to let them know how displeased we were about them not bringing a sufficient size truck in the first place and for over charging us for two trip from Spring to Conroe. I told her the review I write will not be positive. This is the response I got: "I have submitted this into the claims department. Our company appreciates any type of reviews. The trailer that was sent to your location for your move was 24 Feet long as promised." As promised? No, not true. We never discussed the size truck when I made the reservation. I told her how large the house was and how many rooms there were in it. I waited a month to post this in hopes we'd hear from the "claims department" and hopefully get some type of refund citing their inability to provide a efficient move for us. We've heard nothing from them. So beware when you call them to move your belonging and they pull up in a trailer. They just want make two trips up and down hi way 45 to rack up a large bill. Movers bled the clock, sat in truck and didn't help. They made me sign all the forms ahead of time. Paid $300 then they said it would be an additional $300 at the end of the move. They wasted even more time and when I asked for my TV s the one man threatened me with the other men supporting them because I'm a female saying 'you're going to pay what I tell you to pay or else'. I complained to the office manager told her I would call the police and she said 'you can call the laws if you want to there is nothing they can do'. I told her that threatening someone is a crime and that is something the police can do about. I just paid the then $450 under duress to get my TV's back and they threw them in my car breaking one of them. Worst moving experience of my life! read more

So I'm sad to have to write this review. I've used the company in the past and I can definitely recognize a change in service. I have a two bedroom apt with only 4 big items . Many move was 5 and a half fours . This because I go to check my movers are dragging a long . Playing with things on the truck passing my house (getting lost) . Bringing one bar stool up the stairs at a time ( I'm a petite woman I have carried two myself with ease) then to mention they told me how to tip them for their services. So sad. THE WORST MOVE I HAVE EVER HAD! I WOULD NEVER REFER ANYONE TO THIS COMPANY! I had All-Some Packers come out the day before I moved to pack my boxes for the move the next day. The team of Phyllis and Steve were great. They organized the boxes and had them set up in each room accordingly. They made sure that each box was clearly marked with its contents. All the movers had to do the following day was to follow the strategic order that the packers had already set into place. However, this did not happen. The team of ANDRE, CLIFF and RODRICK are some of the worst movers I have experienced. When they arrived it was obvious that they lacked professional training and professionalism. They did not listen when I explained what the packers had done when I explained the strategic order of moving the boxes. Instead, they completely ignored the pre-set plan that the packers had already set into place the day before and just started grabbing boxes. They lacked consideration for my furniture and the content of the boxes. They didn't even take the time to wrap the furniture or Art properly. They put my boxes on a dolly and violently pushed the boxes down the stairs, then had the nerve to complain about the boxes when they started breaking apart; leaving my items all other the sidewalk and on the floor of their truck. I was told by the packers that three loaner wardrobe boxes would be brought out and the movers would put my hanging clothes into the boxes and then take them over to the new apartment to be unpacked. However, the moving crew never packed the boxes and left them empty on their truck. These movers broke and damaged several of my household items and never took the time to even apologize. In fact, Roderick told my 65-year-old mother to call Darlene and complain. "Call Darlene and tell her I said to call!!" he chimed off in a disrespectful tone to my mother when she told them not to jostle the boxes box the stairs. To make the matter even worst, the truck was not packed correctly so all of my things could not fit into their 24 FT long truck. I was moving from a 1036 square foot, one bedroom/loft apartment; HOW COULD EVERYTHING NOT FIT INTO THEIR TRUCK! When I originally made the appointment with Jordan (their customer service rep), I told her that had 70 boxes that needed to be moved. She ASSURED me that the 24 FT truck would be enough space given that it is usually used for 3 bedroom apartments or small houses. However, Darlene (customer service manager) had to send a new crew out the next day to finish the rest of my move. More than half of my items were not packed on the first day. When the movers got to my new apartment, they dropped the boxes off in any room and did not take the time to even read (on the side of box) or ask what room that the boxes were to be placed in. My bedrooms were left a mess and in complete disarray by the time the crew had finished. I still have no idea where my desktop computer is. I never even had the chance to look into the back of the truck before the movers left. They closed the gate and took off leaving Andre (the crew lead) to ask for a check (they do not take credit or debit cards which I didn't find out until the end of the move). To top it off, the movers had the nerve to charge me an additional $680.00 on top of the $299.00 I had already paid on Angie's List. All Some also charged me another $299.00 for the new crew to come out the next day to complete the move! That is a total $1280.00 to move a 1036 SQ FT one bedroom apartment!! I couldn't have been more disappointed in this company. When those Andre's crew arrived, they saw and my elderly mother and I (a young women in her early 30's) and took advantage of us. They didn't take the time to help us and make sure that everything was done professionally; in fact it was the total opposite. It was like they went out of their way to make sure that we had a bad experience! The only redeeming part of this move was the crew that came out the next day. The team of Steve (one of the packers), Victor and Mitch did a great job. They made sure everything was organized and moved in a proficient manner. They even set up the beds at my new apartment and made sure that the boxes were stacked in a manner that made it easy to navigate around the bedrooms and the apartment. They were also very personable and made the day a pleasant experience unlike the day before. Although All-Some did take $200.00 off of the total, they still ended up charging me $845.00 in addition to the Angie's List deal of $299.00 which brings the total to $1144.00. I believe that this is still too much given the time, the broken items and inconvenience that my mother and I had to endure. Upon speaking with one of the mover's that came out the second day, he told me that the behavior that I experienced from the crew of (Andre, Cliff and Rodrick) was the norm for that particular crew. Awful. Slow, dragging out the move much longer than it should've taken. Didn't wrap the furniture like they were supposed to. Dragged boxes along our new wood floors, scratching them. George dropped one of my boxes and then kicked it while he thought no one saw him. This was the second time I used them and this time around I was quoted a price and when moving day came it was a much higher price. Not to mention the movers broke and lost some of my items in the moving process. I was also unable to reach anyone in management on my move day and no one called back after I left several messages. I will never recommend them to anyone. They lack honesty, respect, realistic pricing and customer service. They definitely overcharge and lie...I know because I used them twice. I would definitely recommend All-Some Movers. I worked with Darlene from beginning to end, and she was extremely pleasant, polite, and ensured that we were on the same page with things. She even informed me about the Groupon and additional savings I could possibly take advantage of (which I did). My movers, Roderick and Jr. were extremely polite, quick workers, and very efficient! I thought it would be a 2+ hour move, but they finished in under 2 hours, which also included a 30 minute drive. None of my items were broken or dropped, everything was packed with care, even my boxes. The only con I would have was on the day of my move, the appointment, which was scheduled between 8-9, was delayed to 10 because of a previous appointment (this was no fault of the movers as they were following orders). The Movers were honest about their time, which I appreciated. Darlene did contact me to advise of the delay, but they were later than initially quoted, so I called to speak with Darlene about the hold up. She wasn't available, so I spoke with a guy (not sure of his name) who was very rude, condescending and overall not empathetic to the delay. Granted, I understand things happen, but if I am told a certain timeframe, that's what I am going to go by. If it hadn't been for Darlene's wonderful customer service and my "All-Some" Movers, I think the day (and this review) would have been extremely different. My family and I had some issues to resolve and was reassured a timely response and did not receive that nor did they answer after we gave them some time when we called or emailed and left messages. Some items left unmoved despite the walk-thru pointing them out, later emailing what was left. It is unfortunate because we had used them before and also felt that we could trust that they would not leave this situation up in the air. We even tipped them but all without knowing that the job was incomplete. The main moving personnel said they couldn't move a bookcase in a room because it was behind a blinds set that needed to be dismantled. (The table next to it could have been moved to let it out.) We said, "Okay" not "No No No" as they later claimed when there were still boxes of photo albums in that room to be moved. We pointed out those boxes during walk thru so there was no reason to leave them just bc the bookcase couldn't go. The remaining things (at least 5 or 6) were outside of a room and they weren't picked up It is their loss (of good recommendations to all our friends and family) and our future patronage because of the lack of professional courtesy to follow through on their word to get back to us and work something out and later, we found something was thrown to the side causing mud to spill on the carpet and wall that my daughter had to clean up when we got home and some damages to walls of new townhome that they did not point out despite our emphasizing to be cautious. Excellent. I scheduled the move on Monday and we were not able to complete our packing. I woke up on Monday morning realizing we had a lot to pack and no way we can complete before the movers arrived. I left a voice message with All-Some Movers at 6:30 in the morning explaining my situation and If they can help reschedule the move. Darlene called back 10 minutes after i left the voice mail. She was really courteous and she understood my situation. She rescheduled my move to next day as I requested. The move went great. They guys packed and took care of everything safely. We used All-Some Movers and were pleased until they broke a piece of our furniture. They said they had insurance and that the piece of furniture would be repaired. The damage consisted of 3 pieces of glass. It was a special type glass and when they came to replace it they brought pain mirror. We of course said no to the replacement glass. The piece of furniture was a $2000 buffet. We have spent countless hours and calls to find the right glass. The glass cost in excess of $300 of which we ordered and paid for(no thanks to All-Some Movers). We have now been offer $180 to cover our cost. Beware if you use them and they damage any of your furniture. You will be in for a fight. read more

My move was troubled from the beginning as result of divorce. Yuck. I called Darlene and discussed at length my concerns regarding privacy of my new address and possible hostile situation. She consoled and reassured me that they would keep my new address in confidence and their staff would take care of anything that came up. The day of the move the tension was so thick you could cut it with a knife. My soon to be ex wouldn't allow anyone in the house, not even the movers. About 30 minutes into the move, my ex began throwing my packed belongings down the sidewalk and driveway. The movers went into action literally running from the porch to the truck getting things loaded as quickly as possible. Unfortunately there were a total of three physical altercations with my ex all in attempt to remove my items from the house. Both gentlemen were very respectful of the situation, passed no judgement and didn't get involved. They remained respectful, even to my screaming irate ex, while removing the last of my things from the house. Gregory went above and beyond the job requirements entrusted to him by his employer. I will be forever grateful for people like him and companies like All-Some Movers. The following day I called Darlene to let her know what happened. She was loving and kind expressing her concern and passing along the relayed concern from Greg after he briefed her on the previous days events. This company will take care of my moving needs for the rest of my life. I couldn't have made it through this move without them. I found a deal on Amazon Local for three All-Some movers for two hours. They came to my mom's house to empty out my old bedroom, then we went to my storage unit to get the bulk of my stuff. The guys worked fast, never stopping or slowing down. They followed me to my house and unpacked my stuff from their truck, putting everything in the rooms I directed them to. They handled both my light boxes and my heavy, solid wood furniture with care. Absolutely nothing was damaged. An outstanding job! They finished the job with a few minutes of my two hours left. Only thing that annoyed me was that they drove slow on the freeway. However, my 4-bedroom house worth of stuff didn't fill their whole truck, so they drove like that to keep things from shifting around in transit. Jordan called me the day before to confirm. On the day of the move, Miguel and Antonio called me 15 minutes ahead to let me know what time they would arrive, which was in the time range I was told. I was moving my daughter out of our house into an apartment so we had just a few pieces of furniture and several boxes. They plastic wrapped one glassfront cabinet and put blankets around the other furniture as needed. They were fast and efficient but not hurried. They went over paperwork before and after the move. Darlene was great with calling and e-mailing me items needed and confirmation for my move and all the business items. Antonio and Miguel arrived on time and ready to work. This review is long long overdue. I waited until mediation was over to see if this company would stand up and do the decent thing but they did not, so hopefully everyone will read this and take it seriously. We found them on Groupon. I had never used a moving comp before and since we were only moving a couple blocks over, i didnt think it would be a problem. I was at our new home and my husband was with the movers. 2 guys came in and spent almost an hour taking apart my treadmill. There was no reason to take it apart. It folded and rolled. When they delivered to my new home i asked why they took it apart and they didnt answer me. I thought they were still in my house while i checked everything..the guys were already in the truck. I had a 60in Samsung curved tv..they wrapped it all up. When i went to open it, it was totally cracked and ruined. My treadmill that was over 2000.00 was not put together properly! My dryer stand and washer have a huge dent on the side! My entertainment center was taken apart as well and was broken in pieces. My husband went outside to tell the guys and they drove off. My husband actually ran after them and they didn't turn around. I called and spoke to the owner. The lady is very nice. They put me to the guy and he was so rude and very uninterested and unprofessional. I had to wait almost a year to go thru mediation. They only offered 300 for all my damages. I will admit..i did not sign up for insurance..it was on groupon and when i spoke to the lady when i ordered service, she never mentioned insurance. I found these movers on Groupon and read some reviews prior to calling them about my move across town. The person I spoke to was very nice. She confirmed their availability and said that they could issue my current condo building a certificate of insurance, so I went ahead and booked the date and bought the $300 Groupon. When I gave the certificate to my building, they discovered that All-Some did not actually have insurance as they had claimed. I had to go back to Groupon to get a refund and find new movers. All-Some Movers were such a huge help in my move. This was my second time using them and I will use them again in my third move (hopefully not anytime soon)!! Darlene was very personable and helpful when scheduling my move. She took time to make sure all my information was correct and all my questioned were answered. She called to confirm the day before my move as well. The movers, Miguel and Antonio, called on their way and showed up on time. They discussed the paperwork and the day ahead. I was very thankful they would stop at multiple locations, since majority of my items were in storage. I moved from Cypress to Magnolia, with an additional stop in the middle and they were done in three hours. I moved in entire living room set (couch, loveseat, oversize chair, ottoman, end tables, cocktail table, entertainment system, etc.), a dining table with six chairs, a bedroom set, decor and 12 boxes. They shrink wrapped items and organized furniture in the truck in a way that it wouldn't get damaged. They were efficient and careful with all items. They took care of not only my furniture, but the floors and walls of each home. I just can't tell you how awesome this moving company is, I would recommend them to everyone moving!!
