Late post from Christmas 2025. This mom and pop's shop, All Star Donuts, had a bunch of delicious treats. The staff's were helpful and friendly. I was greeted as soon as I walked in! I ordered their Classic Glazed French Cruller, Chocolate Glazed French Cruller, Apple Fritter and Cream-Filled Glazed Donut. Their filled donuts are made fresh to order. They also have Lottery too. Highly recommend when I'm in the area! Parking is small and limited. read more

Hard to go wrong with a donut shop. It's definitely unique that they also have some pastries in addition to just donuts, which adds some variety for others. Small shop with their own little parking lot and a friendly family owned business. Only reason it is 4 stars is because I have had better donuts for slightly cheaper at other places in the Bay. Still a solid place if you live nearby, though. read more

The lady serving was so adorable and nice! I think I'll go back just to see her again. Donuts were soft and fluffy - just like I remember from my childhood. I had a chocolate old-fashioned and a glazed donut. I liked the glazed the best. Recommend highly! read more

For a hole in the wall donut shop, usually service is top notch in my experience, usually run by original owners and their family who take pride in the day to day ops. This place is much more absent minded and in their own world-- nice ladies but just lacking a sense of urgency. It's fine, but know that if you come here you won't be in and out in a minute. If you want like, a bagel with cream cheese or anything that needs to be heated, it's probably closer to a 5 minute round trip. Just being honest. Bagels and donuts tasted fine, but nothing worth waiting this long over. read more

This family owned business is my all time Bay Area favorite. The family is the kindest sweetest type of people. The food there is the best due to the high quality ingredients. My husband found this place when I told him I was craving for a chocolate custard filled donut. He was looking for a donut shop that was still open around 4:30pm. He didn't come home empty handed. I asked where he bought it. He said, All Star Donuts off E. 14th. It was pretty good. Tasted fresh. My husband took me and the kids here a couple of days ago. Cute place, the owner was friendly and nice. Parking lot is small. Across from Bayfair shopping center. We ordered chocolate custard donut, sprinkle donuts, and donut holes. It was very good. We will definitely be back. This may be our go to spot for donuts from now on. read more

For us this is our go to spot for donuts has been for years. I grew up when prings was still open and had a full on bakery and I worked graveyard as the bakers assistant/ waitress, hence my road to food as a retired chef not a baker but I know and absolutely love love good donuts (no Krispy creams for me) the kindness and friendliness of the owners is the best but the shining star is their fluffy soft and perfectly fried donuts they put out, thank you. read more

We came here and ordered jelly-filled donuts with custard and raspberry filling, a bacon, egg, and cheese croissant and 6 donut holes. The lady was working there by herself but was pretty fast. The donuts were tasty and fresh and very good. We had to wait for them to actually fill the donuts with custard but it took very little time. She did tend to put a lot (maybe too much) filling, but it was still good. The bacon, egg, and cheese croissant was unexpectedly great even though it took a few minutes to make. The croissant was fresh and toasted - tasted like it was made in house. Cheese was melted on real eggs, and the bacon was crispy. It was better than croissant sandwiches you get at most breakfast places so I would definitely recommend it. I'm happy this place is in the area - they are really quite good! Parking lot only fits about 4-6 cars, but there's street parking if you're willing to walk a bit. Also, Yelp says no credit cards but this place actually takes credit cards. read more

I've been going here for years! Mom & pop shop for real! The owners are Ni and Chana, they are wonderful people that put LOVE in every donut and pastry in the place! They even sell ice cream and coffee and lotto tickets! The city of SL messed up the street parking but work it out, the visit is worth it! Beautiful family owned business. When I worked in an office near Bayfair Mall, this was my go-to breakfast spot. In the "Before Times," I would park in the little lot, get in line behind all the other folks buying donuts (and/or lottery tickets), and take my food to work. There are a few booths inside if you want to eat in. My latest visit was during COVID, so the booths were cordoned off. I walked in towards the end of a Friday, right before closing time. There were a few trays of donuts left, so my wife & I bought 3 of them. I asked for a jelly filled donut, and he said he would fill it on the spot for me (always raspberry filling). The donuts were still tasty and sweet as I remembered them 10 years before. Even though the pandemic has taken so much from us, it's still nice to see that there are local small businesses still working hard to support their communities. read more

I called many places to find a donut place that was opened on Thanksgiving. Hold and behold, All Star Donuts is opened! I walked in and ordered a dozen donuts. They are your typical donuts, nothing fancy or special - just good ol' donuts. The parking lot here is smaller than I expected, so be careful when looking for parking and it's also a one-way narrow parking type of lot. This place is cash only though, so remember to bring cash if you want some donuts. Also, surprisingly, when I came here at 630am in the morning, there were a handful of people here as well. This is a very specific review..... very VERY specific review. I sadly cannot eat donuts- my stomach does not agree with them. However, in my sad donutless world there is a light. It's Sundays when the owner gets "fancy" and makes the pink donuts. The pink french crullers are a light and fluffy piece of heaven. You gotta get there early cause he does not like to make too many and they go fast! I can't speak to any other donut or any other day of the week but Sundays and french crullers are definitely the "sweet" spot for this shop. All Star Donuts had 2 shelves of donuts left early sunday afternoon. looking at the reviews, i wasn't expecting them to be open but they were.. guessing they close shop when all donuts are gone. supposedly they also sell ice cream, sandwiches, lotto tickets, and coffee. didn't see any signs regarding same. no other patrons present donuts(.95-1.50), coffee only house brand, passed eats: french crueller(1) -wasn't fluffy inside. seemed like 1/2 cooked dough.remininscence of chinese cream puff but not as tasty/delicate. crumbs: -associates are in back doing something. no one at counter when i entered. -fast, cordial service. read more

All Star donuts is your every day better than average donut shop. It is located right across the street from Bayfair mall and just so happens to be located next door to a certain Adult video store, (Not too naughty). Other than that fact, the decrepit paint outside and the bus stop that is right out front, this place really isn't too special. If you're waiting for a bus, coming out of a certain shop or just walking by and craving a donut, stop on in. I assure you that they are not tainted due to their location, they are just normal donuts, nothing more. Who knows maybe you might one day need a donut and this may be the place for you, but until then they'll be right there where they've always been. CHAD read more

I don't care what industry you work in, customer service will make or break your business. Five stars for location, being only two blocks from my apartment. Four stars for the products, the donuts are pretty good for your average donut shop. What are they lacking? A sense of urgency. I understand that sometimes that the owner's are sometimes working by themselves on certain days, but it does not mean that you take your sweet time when there is a line of people. On top of that if you have a line of people, would you not acknowledge them and thank them for their patience FIRST rather than thanking them for their patience AFTER they've made the purchase? It puts a customer's anxiety to ease if they're in a rush. I recently made a stop here on my way to work. Being on a time crunch I expected to simply be in and out. I walked in and there was a line of two gentleman and a lady ahead of me. The owner was no where in sight, thus I assumed she was bringing something from the back. She comes out three minutes later, but at that time the lady in front of me (I assume) was fed up of waiting and walked out. The owner then says aloud, "well I can't do everything because I'm alone". Really?! Displaying bad attitude for your inability to provide service in front of customers is unprofessional and rude. I patiently waited a few more minutes as she continued to take her sweet time. On top of the that the two gentleman in front of me could not decide how many donuts they wanted. At that point after not being acknowledged, I was fed up. I WAS a regular customer who bought half a dozen to a dozen donuts per each visit. The owner even knew my exact order every time I came in. She will not be seeing me anymore. read more
