They were really friendly but what threw me off was when I ordered a tea, she handed me a cup of hot water with the lid and a tea packet. I've never been served tea like that. Fresh, classic, yum! Favorites include the cake donuts and the cinnamon braid. You can't top customer service here as they offered to stuff a donut with fresh chilled custard when we asked if a specific donut had filling. It was early in the morning, on the road again, my bf and I were in the mood for some hot chocolate!! Since it was really cold out and needed something to heat us up! I think I got my bf into drinking hot chocolate rather than his coffee lol. He loves hot chocolate as much as I do now! I ordered myself hot chocolate to see if they had good hot chocolate. This is a small deli shop in Davis St. We discovered this one while looking for another sandwich shop. They offer donuts, sandwiches, croissants, coffee - typical deli place. We arrived around 11ish, they were almost done with their morning business. We were helped by Sofia that day. Stopped there to get the sandwich - they ran out of grilled chicken, so had to settle for a veggie sandwich. She was quite fast, asked me the type of bread for sandwich and made the sandwich in no time. There was fine collection of donuts on display. Very tempting to be honest. The donuts were glazed to perfection that we couldn't resist buying half a dozen of them. She packed the donuts in a typical deli fashion. I payed using apple pay. Looks like they charge additional fee for the credit card payments. The sandwiches were great. Nothing fancy about it, but it turned out to be delicious. Toasted well, filled with the veggies and avocados. Donuts were amazing too. Best part was they were not very sweet. Picked up 3 different varieties and they all turned out to be really good. This place is like a hidden gem. Small but really worth the attention. The service is also really good. It's part of a small shopping strip. So parking is limited. Where do I begin.. I stopped by 5/26/22@9am..It was quite busy people eating outside breakfast croissants and it looked very tasty. Their menu is very up to par on flat screens but NO donut prices‍. I ordered half dozen of donuts and she placed them in bags and didn't even offer a box. WTH??! My order was $14.50 and I handed her my debit card and without a warning she say below her breath $15! I guess they charge 50 cents extra for using cc/debit cards which is fine with me but no where is it posted anywhere in the bakery! She just automatically added. ALSO..Their donuts are so oily!! I live only about a mile from this store after living in San Leandro for 20 years now I never actually tried their donut. I tell you this morning was the best decision: my $1.65 chocolate bar was probably the best one I've had so far. It perfectly coated and the bread is rich and not airy. This is the second time I have been here as well and as far as donuts go, they are your typical place. However what I did like is that they accepted a wide variety of credit cards! I use amex for most of my business travel and most donut places won't accept it. Another thing I really loved is the wide variety of breakfast sandwiches that they had! Came by in the morning to get some birthday donuts for a friend. One of the best donuts I've ever had, would high recommend trying this place out. It seemed to be primarily a pick up bakery, with a couple of tables if you wanted to sit and eat. Good price point. Coffee was decently average. They do have a cappuccino machine as well. I Love coming here on mornings, I'm a local as I live near by. My favorite are the glaze donuts are soft and delicious as they melt you're mouth water. Omg , went there this morning get my coffee n blueberries muffins n heading on the road . Have a few bites of it inside the bag while I'm heading to my destination , when I arrived ,took half of the muffins out of the bag. All molded. It really terrified I just put half molded muffin in my tummy. I called them after I found out it is molded. The person who answered the phone ,said that he remembered me. I told him what was happened , n he said dont know what to do abt it. I said can I have the owner phone # to call. He just keep saying no n dont know what to do w it n want me to bring back the muffin to show them ,they close at 5pm n I have work today , I said can he give me phone # I can send a pic to him ,he said no phone # .
