I called All Star Garage because they are a local business. Danny was our technician and he answered my call immediately. He offered to come out the same afternoon. We arranged for a morning appointment the next day. Danny arrived on time and was there about an hour. He replaced to springs on a rollup door, lubed, adjusted and balanced our door. What I really liked about All Star Garage Doors & Gates is they offered a reasonable price (I got several quotes) and they were able to come out promptly (Within less than an hour from calling!) Danny, the technician was polite and efficient and quickly installed a new spring on our condo garage. 4/18: 1 star...I got bamboozled by this company. They subcontract through Stress-Free Garage Repair. Guy named Areil shows up and quotes me $750 to do 2 springs and repair rubber piece on the bottom. When I called I said I wasn't in a hurry because I didn't want to get charged extra for Easter Holiday. They said "oh it's who is available at the time". I had a feeling it was way too high and sure enough when you call around to double check, it's half the prices of what these guys charge. Update: 3 stars...Asked for a refund for $300 because I feel that $450 is a very generous & fair price to do this kind of work on Easter. It's still too much to be honest. I reached out to All Star and Mor replied back to me within 5 minutes saying they could send a technician out by the morning for a free estimate and repair if needed. They got me in touch with Ben who said he would show up in an hour. He was able to identify the problem instantly (we had a broken coil) and explained its purpose, market price for replacements, gave us a breakdown of the fees&service, etc. He was patient and answered all of my questions, which I appreciated. He replaced the coil in an hour and guaranteed us a 30 day warranty in case the new coil doesn't work.
