    My new powder coated gate
    Asaf E.

What an amazing experience how can I start , At first, I took some prices from other companies , but build gate and garage door gave me the most attention to what I wanted in the lowest price I got from the other company's. They helped me from A-z with the design of my new gate , they were able to send me many pictures so I can choose from , down to the exact color , and texture I wanted for my new gate It took them less than a week and a half to prepare the actual gate , and in one day of installation they completed everything so impressive , their team is super professional and down to earth , they ask you exactly what you want before they start putting it on the gate , they gave me a lot of stuff for free even when I was asking to pay, they didn't want to take it , installed for me a post with the camera on it , ring doorbell , soft closing arm , and they didn't want to take for me extra dime , I'm impressed by the work , and everyone in my Neighbourhood is jealous when he look at my new gate ! If you're looking for a reliable company to work with talk to Ronnie and Rachel !!

My experience with this company has been great. My first project was a 8' x 10' powder-coated steel gate. The details were very important to me as I needed the gate to keep my small dog in, and needed to maximize every available inch of space to maximize access to my back yard - I also didn't want it mounted to my home. Build Gates and Garage Doors did great work, listening to every detail and making sure the gate was exactly what I wanted. My experience was so good, that a year later I hired them to build an access/privacy gate on the other side of my home. The experience was the same - great work, great detail, and great customer service. 10/10 I highly recommend this company for high quality work that will last. Thank you!

    Pedestrian Gate

I'm a developer and have found this company from a friend that worked with them. They helped me build a custom Iron and aluminum front yard sliding gate, with fencing and another two pedestrian gates. Their prices were very fair and in the market range. I must say the customer service was outstanding! Ronnie is the man! He was very communicative and updated me through the whole project on each process. Him and his welder worked on the gates for only a few days, and they installed the lift master motor as well. They prepared the area for electrical and ran the wiring. Great great great company to work with. I'll definitely use them in the future again. Thanks Build gates and garage doors!

The whole experience with Easy Open was... easy…read more We recently had our old screw drive (installed in 2005 by previous homeowners) Liftmaster completely fail. The light flickered nonstop and the unit refused to even attempt functioning. I ordered a brand new jack shaft/side opener off Amazon and was going to try installing myself. But then I discovered our garage door was super unbalanced (the spring had lost a lot of tension I guess). This would likely make the new opener unable to function, and garage door springs are not safe for a DIYer to mess with, so I was stuck and decided to call in the professionals. I reached out to a few businesses on Yelp, and... Pros: They responded quickly to my Yelp request with an actual estimate (only company who did) They stuck to their estimated schedule, arriving right in the middle of it Devin is an awesome guy and a super skilled installer who knows what he's doing and more importantly: cares about doing it well! He was really friendly, worked quickly (took about 90 mins altogether for everything), took care of all the little details, cleaned up the area when he was done, and walked me through all the operations of our new door opener at the end. We chatted a bit as he worked and had a pretty good time while still getting everything done blazingly fast. Easy Open accepted Zelle for payment which is super convenient for those of us who never have cash and don't know where their checkbook is! Cons: None, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys to anyone who asks. I'll definitely be calling them when we have any more garage door related needs!

With 30 years of experience, his expertise really shows in every detail of his work. He repositioned the ceiling bracket from the middle of the track to the very end to reinforce the rail and keep it from sagging under the weight of the new door, and he even added new handles for me. What impressed me most was Devin's cordial personality and his commitment to quality. He told me he approaches every installation as if he were doing it on his own home--focusing on maximum safety and making sure the entire structure is sturdy and built to last. Easy Open Door Company is a family-owned business, and you can truly tell that they care about their customers and their craftsmanship. Highly recommend Devin and this company!

This was the second time we hired Preston to tackle some things around the house. He arrives on…read moretime to the minute and gets right to work. His prices are very reasonable. He replaced a tub drain in our 78-year-old home where the crossbars had rotted out, replaced the tub spout, fixed the weak flow in the sink, and re-caulked the tub. It looks practically brand new now. I've attempted this in the past and let's just say it wasn't anywhere near as neat as Preston's. The first time he came out he installed two barn doors and they look and work great. Pretty sure this would have costed twice as much with a plumber, if not more. Highly recommend!

Apparently I made a big mistake hiring the Unstoppable Handyman to come out (April 2026) to do some…read morework around my place. The job they agreed to was caulk the bathtub, check the water pressure kitchen sink, look into stabilizing a spigot in the bathtub. The fact they charged me over 32% more than there estimate wasn't even the worst part. I was charged $40 to look at the spigot for them to "make recommendations" after he said he wasn't licensed plumber, which I agreed to. In writing agreement $270 work order, apparently an "estimate" they emailed me. After the work, they charged me $358. I paid this but asked why the price increase? They said the "cost of material" (to caulk a bathtub??) and to caulk around the shower door block guide, which was maybe a few square inches to do. You'd think this would be included in price to caulk the tub, but apparently not. None the less, the caulking work looked good. But here's the problem - and it's a big one. I waited 2 days before using the tub/shower after the caulking to allow drying time. Finally when I used the shower, I noticed the spigot was stabilized, but when I reached down to the spigot to turn the water off, I noticed water coming out from the marble tile. I called and spoke to Preston, who is the owner of Unstoppable Handyman as well as performed the basic work. I explained the spigot was leaking water from behind the wall and I needed someone to come out ASAP to look at it. I sent him a video of me turning on the water, showing water running out from inside the wall. During our brief phone conversation, Preston stated that he's not licensed to do plumbing. He denied causing the leak. He told me, "I didn't touch your pipes," but he admitted to removing the spigot which is connected to the copper pipe. He told me that the original worker who installed the bathtub faucet (spigot) "didn't do the work correctly" and he is "liable"... "it's not up to code"... telling me it wasn't anything that he had done. Here's a logical question - if he didn't touch the plumbing, how does he know how it's "not up to code" or improperly assembled? He already said he's not licensed. I asked him if he removed the bathtub spigot and he said that he did, to spray a "backer foam" to stabilize the spigot. I told him it wasn't leaking before, it's leaking now, and when I asked him if he was going to send someone to fix it, he said no, he would not send anyone or take responsibility for the leak. Before I terminated the phone conversation with Mr. "Preston" I told him I was going to review his business on Yelp, Google and that I would also be putting in a consumer complaint with Unstoppable Handyman with the (BBB) Better Business Bureau, which I have every intention of doing. Preston retaliated during our phone conversation, telling me he was going to report me to my condominium HOA, as he made the false assertion I hired "an unlicensed plumber" who originally did the work, which was totally false. The only one performing unlicensed plumbing work was Preston, when he removed the spigot. Removing a spigot is considered basic plumbing work, which "Preston" admitted to in order to spray a foam behind the tile. Pipes can be damaged when twisting off the spigot if not done properly. My original contractor who installed the shower, Steve Miller, was not only a licensed plumber by trade, he holds a general contractor's license who builds entire houses. I called unstoppable handyman to do this work, mostly caulking, because Steve was in 29 palms building a house. After I called and spoke to Steve explaining the situation, that the guy is a handyman who doesn't have a license to plumb but he removed the spigot, "it's now leaking from behind the marble wall," Steve said the guy probably broke the solder on the pipe joint when he twisted the spigot off. Contractor Steve said the marble tile above the bath tub around the faucet is likely going to have to be removed now to repair the pipe. Contractor Steve asked if Preston offered to refund me, I told him, "no. He denies causing any damage." Steve recommended reporting him to the 'state licensing board' - only problem - I don't even believe Preston is licensed. I'll check. I will be filing an official consumer complaint with the BBB against the business, Unstoppable Handyman. There's no telling how much water could have ran down behind the wall under the bath tub when i showered on Sunday, which could cause floor damage as well as cause a mold problem. The tub and shower can't be used now until I have it repaired by a qualified licensed contractor, which will cost hundreds of dollars if not thousand(s). After I file my complaints against "Preston" with unstoppable handyman (Better Business Bureau, state contractor board licensing ) I might elect to take some time off from work to persue legal action to recoup my financial losses on this. That said, this Yelp review isn't the end, I'm just getting started!
