I have a home in Lecanto that we just use on weekends. Last night, a Friday we got in late, turned on the AC and nothing but a short cycle compressor. It was over 80. Yuck. First thing Saturday morning, 7:45 am I called All Star. They took my info and said a tech would call me shortly. Tommy called within a few minutes and said he would be over around 9:00 ish. By 10:15 am we had nice, cool air and rates were very reasonable as well. This could have really ruined my weekend but Tommy saw to it that the weekend was saved. Great service. read more

I find them to not be honest, fair or reputable. We purchased a Preventive Maintenance Agreement (PMA) for $98.00 with All Star Heating and Cooling after paying them $1800 to replace the flexible duct work under my home. This agreement had a checklist of procedures that the Techs would administer every six months to ensure our unit worked properly and prevent any future damages and breakdowns. Not one time did they come service our unit per the agreement of the PMA. Then our unit breaks down and stops working. We call to get help and they want $98.00 to come out as assess our problem, This assessment should have taken place per PMA on the six month check ups to prevent said problem. Per PMA they were to assist us anytime of the day should a problem arise, but they now want to charge us for an emergency visit. Needless to say, I had to have air and I asked them to come. I tried to argue that it was unfair for the charges they were adding up for me to pay per their PMA. I was suppose to receive 15% discount on parts and service, however, every time I mention this their reply was the discount was included in the total price of the repair fee and their fee to come out would normally be $129.00. Once again I pointed out that if they would have honored their PMA and service the unit when they were suppose to, I would perhaps not be facing such a large repair fee. Each time their response changed in regards to the PMA. I finally started reading their PMA to them and stated that should I take this complaint to a small claims court I feel the judge would not make me pay them anything since they never honored their own PMA and I incurred damages due to their lack of already paid services. I finally split the charge with them, but I will NEVER allow them to work on my unit again. read more

No complaints had the 10 yr warrenty & the Silver maintence agreement. We had a service cleaning done recently. The fan motor was having issues & was replaced by our warrenty. Great & thank-you. But threw this process I understand Al Taylor is no longer with the company. He was our guy that we trusted. So Yoel was our service tech he looked the fan casing over & replied he see's mold. Of course not a good word to hear. He took his flashlight & shined it up into the fan casing. Replied he would also put in a new casing that holds the fan & motor is mounted on casing. Along with the new fan motor. Ok now Yoel arrives with Roland. Remember i heard the word MOLD. So Roland takes fan parts out & there is no new casing only the motor. He pulls old fan & replies oh no we are just going to spray & clean then reinstall. Of course i say what about the mold? Roland say's your fine you have a UV light. My question is, Is this a ploy to try to scare me into thinking I need a mold inspection that costs 5000.00 or to think mold in unit which might me think that the unit needs to be replaced. I am disappointed in Yoel & Roland. This is not a healthy way to do business! Like I said Al Taylor was our service tech. It is important to be able to trust who you are working with. So on that note once the trust is broken, the office staff is wonderful & I thank-you for the good service i recieved. Sorry but i am disappointed, i had a different company inspect the unit. What I thought was a problem turned out to not be that big of an issue and Steve did not charge me for the farm visit and my false alarm even though it cost him half his day. We have a couple of wells on the property and have had Steve or his son respond and have always been honest and professional. I am leaving this review today on Christmas Eve because I called Steve this morning with a problem. He not only answered the phone but after walking me through some reset procedures on the phone he said, "I really need to come to look at it". A family owned and operated company that does first class work with customer service 2nd to none. I I had a neighbor make me aware of a special All Star Heating and Air was running for maintenance on the two of my units which only cost $70 after changing my filters checking my freon and doing a full 32 point inspection I have to admit I was very satisfied with the recommendation made. You guys were very well educated and did not seem to mind me following them around the entire time nosing into what they were doing not only did they educate me on the system itself they gave me a quote that the company I was using prior has not been able to compete with I very well might be using this company to install two new units in my home thank you for the service provided it's hard to find a company that is reputable and considerate especially with elderly folks. I will be contacting the office on Monday in regards to replacing the existing equipment that I have. read more

I booked an appointment for the reasonable cost of 34.95 for seasonal maintenance on my air unit and could not be happier with the service provided from All Star Heating and Air. The gentleman that came out were very kind educated and well-mannered not pushy by any means I will recommend this company to each and every individual I know in need of Heating and Air Services thank you all star for the phenomenal service. 5 stars! Thank goodness for Allstar! Affordable financing plans and they replaced everything! Even cleaned up in the garage after replacing the air handler, I was expecting to have to get my shop vac out but they already had it cleaned up. James Stahl came out and got us set up with financing, so thankful for him, what a great guy!
