While driving on the highway towards Boston, my drivers side tire flew off, dinged the guard rail, and crossed two lanes of traffic and found itself into the woods. I immediately noticed a truck behind me with its lights on, and out comes Nick willing to do whatever he can to help me out. Normally people that stop on the highway behind a broken down vehicle and there for moral support to help you call whomever you need to fix things. But Nick took initiative, took my (half) tire off, helped me figure out a plan, and even took my boyfriend and I down the street to purchase a new tire at a store he and his company had an account with so I wouldn't have to wait in the cold for Triple A. We get back, he puts the tire on, my car is dead. Nick pulls up next to my car, gives me a jump, and now we sit safe and sound in our home thanks to Nick. I had them do work that included re-shingling, replacing the rakers and fascia, and also adding gutters. Brian and his brother worked over the course of 5 days to complete the job. I was working from home during this time frame so I was able to see how their work progressed. They work slow but they are very meticulous and detail oriented. My roof looks great now. I had a positive experience and would recommend using SGC property maintenance. Brian and his brother are good at what they do and the price for the amount of work I had done was reasonable. What started off seeming like a good company, ended up not being so good. No communication, lack of…read moreurgency, no attention to detail always a different person on the job which caused a-lot of problems. One guy would be there for three days and then someone new would show up and have no clue what the last guy did. One of the employees painted the bathroom walls without even wiping the walls down after sanding. What a mess and it had to all be redone, which I am sure would not have happened if I did not complain. At one point, I had to tell the project manager that I did not want anyone in my home until I met with him. The lack of craftsmanship, and integrity was upsetting to say the least. Who puts kitchen cabinets in before painting??? Once the job was complete, it took Vaz Construction another month to come back and finish the things that were not completed. Overall the experience was very disappointing, even more-so with the amount of money they charged us for their sub par work.
