We have used All Star Jumper Rentals 5 times now.... and every time we are totally satisfied. It's easy to order, you can communicate via email, they are quick to reply to you (usually) and they have a really wide array of jumpers (basic to giant pirate ships). We have only ever rented basic type jumpers, until my sons 2nd birthday, where we rented their giant pirate ship. We really liked the ship, it was a big hit of the party! My only compliant is that it was a bit run down (which worked for the pirate theme, I suppose), but the rope to pull yourself up, was broken, it was pretty dirty looking and a lot of the "faux" ship rope (decor mostly, I think) was also broken. Honestly, I doubt anyone really noticed... save for the rope to pull yourself up... it made climbing the steep ship a little more challenging. All in all, we are fans and will use All Star Jumper again. Their setup/breakdown is quick and their guys are friendly. read more

Truly some of the worst customer service ever. The front desk person was super rude. At one time said she should have canceled our order because when we called to follow up on our order for the fourth that we placed online she raised our price 45% and we didn't agree with that. Same conversation led us to being told 2 weeks before hand that we'd have to pay extra for the Fourth of July! Look, I get it, it's a busy day for this industry but to never let me know that I had to pay more until I call you to check in is awful. Then, tell me I can go somewhere else if I want with 2 weeks the biggest day if the year? The list goes on and on. The owner is no better, he's not out for the customer, just himself. Pretty rude guy who would never take my call, just left me to talk with rude secretary lady. The bouncer was left in front of my house on the 3rd. I had to set it up. They picked it up on the 5th. None of the dates were ever conveyed to me. The jumper was at least what I asked for but had some flaws in it where the water would rush out. The back netting had a tear that had been repaired with a different colored netting, but it didn't look cheesy. VERY pleased with the quality and cleanliness. My only quibble is that we had set an 8:30pm pick up time and they didn't arrive until after 10pm to pick it up. EVERYBODY at the party said that was normal with bounce house places, as they don't want to crash a party, but this was a party for five year olds and we were tired and wanted to go to bed! We decided to go with this company because they had the jumper we originally wanted for our 2 year old's birthday party. We also ordered white folding chairs and white folding tables. Details of all items that arrived are below: -I ordered white folding chairs, the chairs that arrived were white with black frames. They were not what I ordered. There were all white folding chairs on the truck but they would not give them to me because they said they were for another customer who also ordered white folding chairs. (I know it seems petty to care about the color but I work in interior design so it matters.) -All folding tables came with duct tape around them and falling apart. They looked awful. -Once the jump house was blown up, there was puke or sticky liquid all over the floor, candy wrappers, trash-- my husband had to spend an hour inside disinfecting and sweeping it out for the (x15) 2 year olds coming over. They offered $20 off the bill for this. -At the time the driver was at my house and we were trying to work everything out with the people on the phone, he seemed to have empathized with my concerns and complaints of the items being delivered. In fact he told me his wife would have done the same thing. While he was on the phone speaking to the warehouse manager, Chris, my husband overheard him call me a 'cabrona' thinking that we did not speak Spanish. My husband addressed this with him and told him he understood what he said about me. The driver did not respond and was surprised we understood. VERY unprofessional. -We did not want to pay at the time of delivery because we felt there was another conversation to be had about the condition of everything that arrived. The driver then threatened us and told us that the company said they would call the police and have everything removed off our property during our party if we did not pay. We were forced into paying to avoid a ridiculous incident with the police. This whole interaction took hours out of our day, and was an awful way to start what should've been a very happy day celebrating our daughters 2nd birthday. I have contacted the company since the party--they told me I heard the driver wrong and offered to send me a $30 check for my troubles. I still haven't seen the check. That is ok. Rented a bouncy for the 4th. Said they would drop of between 8-10am on the 3rd. I called at 12pm they said it would be more like 3pm still a no show. They sent me a email that it would be more around 4-5pm I think it finally showed up about 5:45pm. They forgot the weights to hold the thing down! I was not even mad about that, it was the day before a crazy holiday. He said that they would drop off the weights the next morning. Next morning no weights, no weights, no weights!! Party starts at 1 guy shows up with sand bags at 12:15! Finally start blowing this thing up and all of a sudden the blower starts shaking so bad I can't hold it down. (6'2 225lb) and then there is a sound of glass breaking! A glass pipe for weed was on top and rolled off an shattered every where in the driveway. On top of that there where leaves and a mask in the bouncy house. Called they came over and cleaned out the house and changed blower and took a report. Said the owner/ supervisor would call me on the 5th. The friendliest guys ever. That is a joke. Pick up day quoted time8-10am. Send an email at 3pm to tell them it had not been picked up and still waiting for person to call me. Respond supervisor is in meeting will call by end of day. No call. Call around 6:30 from the pick up guy. Asking can he pick it up tomorrow morning at 9:00. Tell them I have to leave by 9:15 to go to the beach and that it will be I front of the garage for pick up. Get back from beach at 12:15 and the thing is still there. Finally gone. And I have yet to hear from a supervisor. Unclean and not checked after uses!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY read more

Our event was held in a park owned by our HOA, which required us to provide a certificate of insurance listing the HOA as additional insured in order to have a jumper. All Star Jumper Rentals told us they could provide this as part of the service. 2 weeks after we had communicated the specific information required by the HOA, they had not yet filed for the certificate. The certificate showed up the afternoon before the party and was incorrect. The HOA would not let us hold the party in the park until we in our own time and at our own expense arranged for a certificate on our own policy. The jumper itself had a large hole in the fabric covering the slide which was catching kids' hands and fingers, and resulted in one minor injury. Arranged to have Bounce house was delivered to a remote location at 7am for my daughter's B day party. At 730, they still weren't there, I called their HQ and nobody answered so I left a message. I continued to call them and finally got through to someone at 830 at which point a gentleman received an ear full. He apologized and assured me he'd be there momentarily. To make a long story short the guy didn't show up until around 930. I demanded the delivery guy give me a discount, but he said that wasn't up to him, needed to talk to the owner Bruno (wasn't available on weekends). Called first thing Monday and was told I'd get a call back from Bruno that day. After a couple of days and a few follow up phone calls I finally got in touch with him. He was apologetic and did what he could to make things right. I understand things happen but encouraged him to improve the communication in his company because it was frustrating as all hell. All things said and done, I'll definitely give these guys another shot when I need a bounce. read more

This place is ridiculous with poor customer service. Ordered the jumper 2 weeks ago, party is this weekend and I had to call to find out about the jumper. Called Monday-Guy said he would call back...nothing. I called back Wednesday AGAIN only to find out the jumper I rented was not functioning. They never once apologized and gave no options except to pay a higher price for another one. Used this company for the last 2 years and it's kinda sad thats how they treat their customers. Surprised that someone gave them a bad rating! We probably rented on the same day!! From the first phone call all the way through pickup did I never have a problem. Since my event was at a park, I was limited to rent from a list provided to me by the City of GG. Of all the jumper rental companies listed, All Star Jumper was the cheapest....most reasonable. Other companies were charging around $250 - $300 for the jump house we wanted (standard jump house with a slide). I paid $165! This was a larger than normal bounce house. They had the theme I needed as well (Disney Princess). They even sent me pictures of the different bouncers they had so I had a visual idea. I really appreciated that. They called to confirm my reservation the day before the event. The delivery was between the time frame they provided. They did pick it up a little later than expected, like 30 minutes later, but it's understandable (we're not their only customers). The bounce house was clean. We had a horrible experience with this company! The jumper they delivered was older, worn out and had been patched several times. I noticed a few places where the seems were separating but what were we going to do, our party started within an hour. After the kids began jumping in it, we looked over and noticed the bounce house was actually collapsing with the kids inside! We called them to have the bounce house removed and ask for a refund, but they gave us a song and dance that we should have asked for a different bounce house if we weren't satisfied at the time of set up. With the party going on, I decided to worry about that later. Later was right. It took me months to get anyone at the company to return my phone calls and emails. They would tell me I have to speak to a manager, to call back later, or I would leave my information and not be called back. And I was only asking for a refund of half my money because the bouce house held up for about half the party. All said and done, I finally got them to give me a refund of only 1/3 of my money and that was after dealing with them for nine months. At that point, it was the principal of the matter and not about the money. read more

I rented a jumper for my son's 3rd birthday and was delivered one filled with rat poop! Smelled horrible, not to mention a serious health hazard. The guy told me that if you don't specifically request a "newer jumper," they bring you an old one. what?! I will say that they promptly replaced it with another one, but the "newer" one wasn't much better. Also smelled pretty bad and had a few major holes. Wasn't too thrilled with this place. We rented a ball pit and it was delivered on time by two very nice guys. After that it was an iffy experience. The ball pit was dirty and smelly and a lot of the balls were broken in half. Really gross but the kids didn't care and had a great time in it, hence the 2 stars. Here's where the ball pit kinda blowed (ha!). The balls would get stuck under the pit's padding which was a red mattress type thing that was not attached to it but situated beneath the balls. Well those balls disappeared under it after a few hours of use and we had to deflate, scoop out the balls, then inflate it again and pour the balls back in. A major pain in the middle of my son's birthday party. I emailed the company about this and got no response. Like, we've got your money, who cares? Then the delivery guy asked to come on Monday morning at 9 instead of Sunday evening. He was a no-show ALL DAY, with no phone call or anything to tell me he wasn't coming. Well my kids got one more day in that crappy ball pit so I guess it made up for it. But how about, if you say you're coming at a certain time how about coming at that time or call and let me know otherwise? Seems pretty simple to me. And when they finally picked it up it was Tuesday, and they left the stakes in the ground for my son to find. I'll be going with another rental company next time. read more

I called these guys 4 days in advance of my event date which was on a sunday. The guy i spoke to assured me that they had plenty of jumpers for my date and that not to worry . I asked him when was the last time i could place my order and he said SATURDAY. Fast forward to Saturday 9AM ... i call them and he tells me "Sorry we can't take your order because it's a last minute order". I told him "WOW you told me to call on saturday it would be ok. He said well "It's a last minute order and we have already made our drivers routes" ... I told him "I'm sorry that you didn't take this into account when you TOLD me to call back saturday. I ended up ordering from JUMPFORFUN.COM. They may not always have the nicest or newest stuff but at least they are accountable and you can ALWAYS get them when you need them. I called twice after 11am to get updates on the arrival and was never given any updated info. The jumper was covered in dirt on the outside. It looked awful. And my husband had to clean MAGGOTS out of th inside of the jumper! I emailed them to let them know these 3 issues and have never been contacted by management. I just sent an email to reserve a jumper for my party in Norwalk. Apparently, they don't serve Norwalk. They only serve Orange County. Their website says La Habra, Buena Park etc... Which Norwalk is only a few minutes away. Funny part is I work in Tustin and my drive is only 30 mins everyday. I would have paid extra for gas if that was the concern, however, they didn't even give me an option for that. I would not use this business again. They were unprofessional, arrived early and started prepping to tear down w/ kids STILL IN IT. They did not find myself or my husband to tell us they were there to pickup. Zero communication skills. A family member of ours had to rush into a DEFLATING bouncer to grab the kids sweaters n stuff since they got kicked out so quickly, The lady tried clawing my posters off that were tied to the netting (they were nice posters too) after we repeatedly told her WE WOULD HANDLE IT and all of this before the scheduled p/u time of 5 pm even. Being in a bouncer business you have to know you are dealing with kids b-day parties, you're not running a Wall Street corporation so lighten the fudge up Captain Serious Crew, try COMMUNICATING, it's a nice skill to have.
