The lady at the front counter is AWEFUL. She's insulted my wife, taken money from us, and walks around with a scowl on her face from dawn to dusk. On top of that the policies they have here are ridiculous. We paid 8 DOLLARS to have two comforters washed just for the lady to take them out of the washer soaking wet and say that we need to pay 8 dollars EACH. My wife refused and now we have to bring 2 sopping wet blankets back to the apartment and are out 8 bucks. This was the first time we had been there since she insulted my wife last year and i assure you that we will not be back. Don't waste your money at this dump. read more

Don't pay attention to all the Karen reviews. My family was in town for a week. The place where we stayed had broken machines. We dropped off our laundry in the morning at All Star and the lady was very kind. The pricing was fair and our clothes were washed, dried, and folded by early afternoon. We were very happy with the service. read more

If you are a business owner, or even a worker, you ought to know enough to not insult your customers. I was doing my laundry in All Star Laundromat in PV tonight. Trumpet sees my mask and starts talking loudly about the fake virus and how the Democrats are screwed up, and how the tests are fake, and the numbers are fake, and the older guy with a pony tail, not sure if he works there, or if he owns it, joins in with him. Ive been usuing this business for a long time, but this main front desk lady Helen is so rude! I asked her for change for 20 this morning and her response was to tell me "you know, the machine will take a 20" and then TAKE MY BILL and put it in the machine. I asked for change because I didn't want 20 dollars in quarters! This is not the first time that shes given me a hard time about cashing my usual 40 dollars in change or given me attitude for mildly inconveniencing her. read more

Avoid this place at all cost for laundry service. I dropped off a full-size comforter that I just want it washed in the machine. For me to do it but is the only costed five dollars. But. Hey. Convenience of having it done won me over. I went back to pick it up just now and the fee to clean this comforter, not dry clean, just regular wash was $21! I could've bought a brand new one for that price. I'm absolutely disgusted. I will never return there ever again. read more

I really hate coming here because I don't like waiting for a machine. The staff take up all the top load machines and this Saturday 01/25/20 she just left the clothes in the machine after they were done. I told her " hey there are paying customers waiting for machines and you have finished laundry sitting in the machines, you need to get the clothes out of there" she said " I'm busy". I go there because my laundry gets clean (unlike other laundromats). The water is hot and the machines fill up all the way. But I hate waiting around for a machine. read more

Contrary to the other review the laundromat is still there it hasn't been moved you just need to look more carefully. they have 1.50 washes on wednesday for top loaders. close to little ceasers, burger king and kfc. read more

Scam laundromat stay away! Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me, fool me three times? This is how many times I've used this laundromat knowing the machines operate well below perfunctory levels! They will end up ripping you off by leaving your clothes nearly as dirty as they were when you put them in! On the first visit I had noticed the issues with front load machines not filling with adequate water. During the wash cycle the machine was not creating any suds and for both the wash AND rinse cycles the clothes were not submerged in water at all; they just looked damp. I asked the uninterested attendant to come over to take a look while they were operating and she immediately showed very little concern, hesitated to look at them at first, and then shrugging it off by saying "That's the way the machines work!" After stewing and shaking my head for about 5 minutes guilt must have gotten the best of the attendant because she came over unannounced again displaying seemingly false concern and said "Hey let me look at the laundry detergent you're using". "Oh I thought so, it's h e (high efficiency) detergent your using that doesn't create any suds. Incredulous! A SOAP detergent that doesn't create ANY suds? Does she think this is my first time doing laundry in 50 years? Not sure because that's the impression she gave me. No, I'm sorry ma'am you should know high efficiency detergent creates "less suds" it does not create a wash cycle absent of suds. It's now obvious to me that this laundromat attempts to pinch pennies at the cost of its customers by setting the water levels on all machines well below adequate trying to save an extremely negligible amount on their water bill! You don't have to take my word for it just look at past reviews going on for a few years at this laundromat including the poor woman whose Tide pods didn't dissolve all the way during the wash and was very upset about the money she lost. I've lost nearly $100 using these machines. To prove my point today I took the clothes out of the front washers and paid another $7.50 to re- wash them in the over-priced top side loaders. As the washers filled up the water quickly became filthy dirty from clothes that had I just run through the even higher prices front end machines! I then added some high energy detergent and manually manipulated the clothes and what do you know there were a tremendous amount of suds in the machine ready to go to work! In addition lighter clothes put into their dryers become noticeably stained from previous dirty loads goin in. Thanks to your indifference to my concerns in regards to your awful underperforming machines I found other reviews from other people who experienced the same kinds of issues. They provided info on other laundromats closeby that I should use. I can't wait to trying Clean and Fluffy laundromat whose machines get glowing reviews. I'm looking forward to not having my time and money wasted the next time I need clean clothes to wear! Hope this helps. read more

Tried to do my laundry tonight. When I got there the door was locked. The open sign was on. The lights were on. The posted hours said they close at 9. I checked my watch it was 7:46. I knocked on the door and a woman that was in there yelled "WE'RE CLOSED". When I said your sign says 9 she just turned her back and went back to what she was doing. read more

The woman on staff was extremely rude to my brother and I on our first visit. When we discovered that one of the machines had a broken handle, she promptly came over and accused us of being the ones who broke it. Then, she began ordering us around, criticizing our loads, and in general, acting very annoyed with us, as if we were both liars and vandals. We packed up our laundry and left, but not before she threw one last verbal jab at us. We're never going there again, and we would not recommend the place to anyone. read more

For the most part I have no issues here. I've been going here for a year now. The elderly lady that works there is friendly. She seems abrasive at first but I am not surprised with some of the customers she gets in there. The only real issue I have ever had, besides a few dryers not getting hot, is the new Oriental lady that works there. She decided to very rudely tell me I was putting too many clothes into the industrial washers. I have worked at laundromats and have been told by the manufacturers of those washers that the fuller they are the better they wash. They are made to be stuffed full. And she tried to tell me I was wrong! I finally told her to back off, I knew what I was doing. She was telling me to only fill them half full. Sorry but I'm not paying double the normal amount. Now I go in and she ignores me and I ignore her. Problem solved. But don't let her tell you you're doing your laundry wrong when you know better. read more

It looks much nicer since ownership changed, New owners apparently put some money into sprucing it. Some new additions give it a cleaner look but that's on the surface. I took a few loads in and the available washers looked as if someone had washed horse blankets or dog beds. There were even clumps of something that looked like mud stuck to the tub. I mentioned it to the attendant 7 when they went in. I took my things out of the washer and went across the street to the other laundry and rewashed them there. All I accomplished at all star was I wasted $10 and an hour of my time. I believe the owner is the one that wiped the tub out, she needs to understand that even if the tub we see sparkles, there is the tub underneath that holds the water and filth from the inner tubs previous load. Great experience. The equipment is not new by any stretch of the imagination but was in good working order and very clean as was the premises itself. The woman attendant was so nice and went above and beyond. I was in on a very busy Saturday morning but I was assisted with every aspect of my chore. I was given stain removal advice and she offered to put my load into the dryer if I was not back from Safeway when the wash ended. She helped me out to my car with my two bags of finished laundry because my hands were full with my toddler and then refused a tip when I offered it. I usually send them out but decided to take all of our comforters in for the big washers next Saturday morning. read more

Just an average laundromat....$2.50 for the small washer. A few larger capacity ones for $4.50. Older facility, but clean; staff helpful. VERY difficult to find because it is hidden by "just brakes" in front if it. It is on the east end of the Safeway shopping center. read more

I have been going to this laundromat since I moved into the area five years ago. The place used to look kind of worn, and sometimes some of the machines didn't work very well. But the atmosphere was very pleasant. The people who worked there were very nice and accommodating. The only thing I didn't like was the way they charged for drop off for comforters--way too expensive, because they charged by size, not weight. Anyhow, the new owners brightened up the place. They also reduced salaries for long-time employees, so most of them left, replaced by lazy airheads. They added TV's, which I hate. People stopped talking to each other. The new machines cost more. And little things--like giving you soap for the big machines--stopped. So I brought in more of my stuff for drop-off, because it was unpleasant to be there. They raised the prices. Today was the final straw: they wanted four days to wash my clothes. Normally, though I never asked for it, you could get same-day service, but never had a problem getting it the next day. I've been wondering why I keep going there. Now I can stop wondering and stop going. read more
