One of the downsides of the hiking around Sedona is that your clothes get dirty, and if you don't want to pack them back into your luggage in that condition, then going to a laundromat is a must. The Laundy Basket is very busy (be forewarned), but it is very clean and the machines are well maintained. The staff is happy to help you if necessary. I like the "laundry card" system that works with all the machines - much better than lugging around 20+ quarters. read more

When I arrived in Sedona, I opened up my suitcase and discovered that my cat had peed in it before I left home. None of my clothes were spared. If you have ever smelled cat pee, you understand how dire this is. My hotel doesn't offer laundry service on the weekend, but the concierge recommended the Laundry Basket. The woman who was there today was so nice and went above and beyond to make sure my clothes were clean and smelled fresh. I wish I had gotten her name. The laundry was done in just a couple of hours. We stopped here to do laundry while vacationing in Sedona. The man helping us was super helpful and nice and friendly even though we had some difficulty figuring out the card system. I wish we got his name! (Because we didn't have cash, we purchased a $1.25 laundry card. But the washers and dryers take quarters.) For a medium wash, it was $6.75. Dryer is $0.25 for 5 min, but they are huge industrial dryers so we only needed $1.00 to dry. Great little laundromat, especially the excellent customer service! read more

My first time on a Laundromat establishment and I liked it! I had the impression that all laundromats were dirty and messy. This one seems to be clean and welcoming. I don't have any parameters for pricing so I can't comment on that. But regular sized washing machines are $3.00 per load (around 20 minutes). Bigger washing machines are $6.75 per load. Yes! It's an essential service! We mark the weeks by doing laundry here. There is plenty of well-maintained equipment, soap dispensers, and quarter dispensers. We get it all done in about 90 minutes, after we show up when they open at 8 am. At that hour we almost have the whole shop to ourselves. The staff is friendly, and nobody seems bothered that we wear masks while we're in the room. The air conditioning is powerful, so the outside air temperature is irrelevant. Remember not to stop any washer during its cycle, because you will have to start from the beginning at full price for another load. When our home remodel is done we'll have our own washer and dryer, but for now we are grateful to have this touchstone of cleanliness and marker of time in our lives. read more

We needed to do laundry in the middle of a trip so we dropped a load off here in the morning. They guarantee that your clothes will be ready by noon and they were. Everything was neatly folded and my husband's shirts were free of wrinkles on a hanger. The other clothes was nicely folded. Very impressed. It was $10 well spent. Leaving a 5 star because the owner seems cool, good vibes, and convenient location for me to park my RV while my dog waits within a close enough distance. The front clerk was nice but was not wearing a mask and neither were half the patrons as a result. Also didn't appear to be any sanitizing precautions. Disappointing when Arizona has some of the highest covid cases right now and this is the only laundromat in the area so there isn't anywhere else to go. read more

When I came in and asked if they did same day wash and fold, her response was kind of off putting like she didn't want to "um I can..." ok. So I gave her my clothes, no special wash instructions. $70 for 30 pounds, reasonable I suppose but for that price I really expected cleaner clothes. My daughters clothes still had sedonas red dirt on it and my and my husbands shirts were really staticky, and we are missing a sock. I just guess for that price I'd expect a little more? read more

all our stuff smelled like campfire. We were looking for a clean place to do our laundry...we stumbled on this little gem. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There were a couple places to sit while waiting or you could go patronize sedonuts! There are cameras and the staff was very present making this feel safe and welcomed. We were washing our puffy Patagonia jackets and asked if they had tennis balls to help....they did! The faculty had the choice of $1 soaps. For $3 we used a smaller machine and $6 we loaded up the big washer. The dryers run for $0.50 for 10 min increments, making drying such breeze. The place was clean and perfect for two out-a-towners looking for a spot to make life a little less dirty. read more

We are full time rv'ers so we use laundromats thru out the United States. The Laundry Basket is one of the Cleanest with newer machines at $3.00 per load and .25 for 5 minutes to dry. The people running the laundry were helpful. My only complaint was that the bathroom was not available to customers. We would definitely return. read more

Other than it being $3 per wash load for the smaller washers and $5 for the big ones, it's a great spot! Quite honestly, I don't got to the laundromat very often so I guess I don't have much to compare to but seems steep. The place was very clean and the staff there was very helpful. They have two change machines and the staff has quarters on hand. There are quite a few washers and not as many dryers but the dryers are very large. They do have a wash & fold service that seemed pretty reasonably priced so if I were to do it again, I'd probably do that! I did about 4 loads in the washer and 2 in the dryer and was out in an hour so they go really quick which is really nice. There's a large table for folding and it was busy when I went in but there were still enough baskets to go around. Overall, a really great spot to get some laundry done fairly quickly! read more

Horrendous! I would give no stars if I could. Being a resident for 20 years, I have used this business for many years. Since it changed ownership, the customer service is terrible. For starters, 9 machines were "Out of Order," not including 1/2 of the coin change machines. The machine that I used needed the female attendant to pound on it 20-30 times to allow it to accept quarters. This occurred twice before she manually started it. When I was shorted $1, her response was "Sorry I did not follow you around to be sure you lost money. REALLY? Customers are thieves? That is how I felt. Next time I will do my laundry in Cottonwood, even if it is a 15 minute drive. UNBELIEVABLE!!!! read more

After waiting for ever at our hotel to use the one nasty machine it occurred to me to check yelp for a laundromat. Glad I did because this place was a couple blocks away. Got there shortly after they opened and the place was pretty empty. Clean, well maintained operation from the folding tables to the machines plus we were in and out in less than an hour. Place is really crappy. The machine did not put water in my load. I opened the door after waiting and then it wanted me to start over. No staff was visible to help. I put my clothes elswhere. when staff finally showed up, she told me it was my fault. It was not because the second machine operated according to expectation. she did not listen to me and tried to do counseling on me instead. she said it had been working all day. I said it isn't working now. Total lack of concern, wouldn't even look at the washer, and totally blew me off. DO NOt come here. It smells like sewage, no concern for costomers and is the worst laundry around here. read more

The smaller washers run at $3 and next biggest is $5/load. Dryers are $.50 per 10 minutes. **LOCATED NEXT TO SUBWAY** probably the most important tip since you can't really see it from the streets. There were some broken machines, the tiles have seen its years, but when you're traveling with a week's worth of clothes and don't know when you'll be graced with clean clothes next, sure feels like an oasis in the desert. We paid just about $5.50 total for 1 box of detergent, 1 load of wash and 30 minutes total for the dryer. I could have cheaped out and only put in 20 minutes ($1) of drying time, but you know... worse thing to have is damp denim and socks. Thank you Laundry Basket! You saved the day! :) read more
