I just noticed that people seemingly tend to write reviews when they have a bad customer experience. We're all human, so we can understand why the natural human instinct is to seek revenge whenever we feel that "we were done wrong!" People also tend to write positive reviews when lots of $$$ is put into incentivizing customers to "Like" their page, or "Follow" them, or whatever else they do to give a perception that they are better by all the glowing reviews than they really are. That's just the way the world operates right now and I'm sure most would agree. It's unfortunate that people aren't driven to write reviews when a service like this does an excellent job. It's all about $$$, isn't it? Do we ever question our intent before writing a negative review? I hope most people do, but reality is, they don't. Those who question their intent before submitting their blown out of perspective negative review are able to get a better perspective and find positivity towards others. Maybe the sales guy that "over-promised and under-delivered" was having a bad streak of "No Deals!" and real needed to make a deal so his kids can eat, Or maybe the owner of the company isn't aware of this happening and loses customers to the companies that invest the $$$ to make the world see how great they are, but really not, or amber people just work their 40 hours week-to-week because that's what they feel they "Have to!" Or maybe this negative review I am about to post will add one more small, or BIG step towards making our economy worse by hurting small business and sending more $$$ to the larger corporate entities. The reason people think others post these negative reviews is to really keep others from having the type of negative experience you had, but is that really why you take the time to right that? I think "NO!" It's to get back at the company or guy that did you wrong. Reality is, once again, it's the one person that did you wrong, but not the company or owner that's trying to make ends meet to put food on the table for their kids, just like what you may be trying to do. Just to reiterate, The negative reviews like some here, really tend to ruin small business so that companies with more $$ can make even more $$$, or what we always hear, "make the rich richer and the poor poorer. People mostly, but not always, like giving their time to focusing on the negative by putting others down, but yet, they believe they're doing everyone else a favor. I appreciate whoever has read to this point. Those who have, I also want to be transparent that the owner of this company is my Dad. He is a great man and does a lot of good for others, this company is here today because of one thing, "HARD WORK!" He is from a different generation that believes in hard work, passion, and giving your best in everything you do. This company came from my dad coming home every night from his full-time job to mowing lawns, which grew into something he didn't know would be the result to his restless hours spent to provide. This company really is one with a heart, I don't know who provided the negative services, but it wasn't the one who buoy the company. Most that work here are passionate, and sometimes there is a beds egg or bad apple found in the bunch. This company is carried by many that work here that have positive attitudes, but real struggles, or real people. My message to carry on to whomever has read to this point is this; "The ONLY DISABILITY IN LIFE IS A BAD ATTITUDE!" We had a negative experience with this company and we do not recommend doing business with them. We purchased the prepaid full-year fertilization package. Here are the issues we had with this company: (1) Their lawn fertilization did not work for our lawn (2) When we tried to cancel the program and get a refund, they were at first evasive and then unresponsive (3) We filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the company was unresponsive as well I don't think this is a properly organized company. It looks like there's a lack of coordination between different departments (Sales, Warranty, Management...). They lack proper customer service training as well. I do not recommend this company and we regret doing business with them. read more

They provided options without trying to upsell us. They gave us options and let us choose what was right for us. Our yard looks great! read more

I called around to locate an affordable deal on rodent control and located All States online. I decided to initially go through their company as it sounded like they knew what they were doing however long and dragged out the conversation was with Kenneth. I just wanted to have someone come and help get rid of the black rats. I agreed with him on 4/4 to pay the full amount of $160 initial and then $80 per quarter = $400 total up front. I ended up finding another company that didn't charge the strange $160 initial fee and immediately called Kenneth back to apologize and cancel. He said the transaction was already put through and the individual that handles the credits was out of the office. He said he would speak to her the next day. Obviously this didn't sit well and I hesitated on trusting that they would credit us back no issues the following day. However - fast forward months later and yes Im at fault for not checking the credit card for the credit, but we get a call June 8 to inform us of a rodent service coming to our home. Ah, what? I finally got to the bottom of it all - Kenneth never put through our credit with billing and so they never put the $400 credit back in April. I'm crossing my fingers that they actually put the credit through this time. Will have to be diligent on following up every day until it does. I wouldn't trust these people as once they have your money it seems they don't care what you think as a customer and the comical thing is we never used their services!!! read more

My experience with All States was quite disappointing. I was looking to have my trees trimmed because two of them were (are) hanging over the fence within a foot of my neighbors house. I also have 2 trees in the back that were getting close to my house that I wanted cut back. The salesman came to my house to bid the job spent quite a bit of time talking about how great the online reviews were for All States compared with their competitors. I explained everything that I was looking to have done and he stated that it would be no problem. I paid half of the quote upfront and would pay the other half upon completion and walk around inspection. A couple days later, Junior and his crew (the bright spot of the company and the only reason this isn't a one star review) came out and trimmed the trees. Unfortunately I was out of town at the time but my wife was able to talk to them. When my wife pointed out a few of the things that we had talked about with the salesman, Junior explained that it was beyond the scope of what his crew is setup to do. They trimmed the low hanging branches, cleaned up, and left. A week later I received a call from the All States office trying to collect the remaining funds. I explained to her that I would be happy to pay once the job was done according to the specs the salesman promised. She apologized and said she'd send somebody out. Somebody came back to my house that afternoon, took pictures and said he'd follow up. Another week later the office called again looking to collect. I again explained that the job was not completed to my satisfaction and when it was done I would be happy to pay. Two days later the salesman called...looking to collect. 3 calls for collection, but no word on what the plan was to complete the job. I explained the same thing to him at which point he sent Junior back to my house with a crew. Junior came prepared to do all that was in his power to correct the situation, but he couldn't do what the salesman had promised. The salesman oversold the job and from what I gathered from Junior, this wasn't the first time. At the end of the day, Junior was great. Unfortunately I would have never agreed to have All States come over and trim my trees had the salesman not WAY OVERSOLD the job. I still have a tree encroaching upon my neighbors house and my trees are still much closer to my house than I would like. I certainly wouldn't recommend All States to anybody for any tree services. As an aside, I was speaking to my neighbor about my frustrations and he said that he wished he had known I was considering All States because they did his sprinklers. He said after multiple complaints and them never completing the job correctly, the company offered a discount as long as they didn't write a negative review online. I would be very curious how many times this has occurred because the positive reviews were a main selling point of the salesman that came to my house. read more

They have come in, sprayed and given me maintenance directions to where I now feel that my yard is 'presentable'. They are on-time, friendly and the price can't be beat.
